Penny had started taking notes about what she observed from Sheldon and Rajesh as her and Amy's pregnancies were getting closer to full term. Amy had supplied her observations of Rajesh as a soon to be father. Penny was relaxing in the sun on the patio of her father's farm house while Sheldon was out playing scientist, leaving Wyatt to keep an eye on a heavily pregnant Penny. She would be writing one minute then napping, as the twins left her exhausted. Maxine and Goliath were on the other side of the house, but Prince and Darling were cuddled up on Penny's chest. Mary Cooper was at Uncle Douglas, who had recently proposed with Sheldon's permission. Mary saw Penny twice a week if not more to keep her silent promise, but she asked MeeMaw to keep an eye on her for the day. MeeMaw was in the kitchen, cooking spaghetti with Italian sausage and diced yellow onion with sweet green bell pepper. She cheerfully hummed "Tomorrow's But A Day Away." Wyatt was down stairs in the basement, checking the meat in the freezer. He planned on sending twenty pounds of beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, fish, duck, and venison with his daughter when she moved to New California. Suddenly, a silhouette cast a shadow over Penny as she dozed. "Moon Pie, you are blocking the source of our Vitamin D," Penny stated without opening her emerald eyes. She wore a green maternity tank top with a black skirt for easy movement. A falcon rested on a fence post, waiting for a rabbit or squrriel to scurry across its line of sight. Baby birds chirped in the walnut tree, wanting meat. "Ah yes, your twin bundles of joy need lots of sunlight, don't they, Penny," sneered Gerald Franklin Elliot. He had on brown kakis with an ugly blue and brown Hawaiian button- up shirt. He once again pointed a pistol at the woman that refused his advances. "You are pathetic." Penny then snapped, "It is Dr. Queen- Cooper to you, ass hat." She flashed her engagement and wedding rings, causing the sun to catch the diamonds. She used her right hand to bring out a whistle and neon pink pepper spray so he couldn't see the two items plus she had another trick up his sleeve. Gerald reached for Penny's elbow to pull her up to take her to his new abode, but Penny was having none of that so she sprayed him in the eyes with the pepper spray as she let her right foot meet his crotch to fell him like a rotten tree. "Dammit, woman!" Tears prevented Gerald from seeing properly and clearly. He missed Penny putting a whistle in her mouth to call the dogs to her. The small unportional hands that were gripping his swollen and internally bleeding balls went to his ears as if they were busted. Goliath and Maxine tore onto the scene like wolves after the scent of a weak deer. Goliath recognized the man that had shot him and threatened his mistress; Goliath jumped Gerald to bite into the left upper arm and Maxine followed suit on the other humorous. MeeMaw came outside armed with a shot gun. "You must be the most idiotic man on God's green Earth to even come back after my granddaughter," she leveled the gun at his heart. Her acid washed blue jeans and pink floral shirt made her seem years younger. "Wyatt! Get out here!" MeeMaw shouted into the two story farm house. Wyatt came out in a rush with a shot gun held in both hands. "Son of a bitch, you just don't get the picture. You can't just leave my daughter alone even after she sent you to jail. I guess the only way to get you to leave her alone is your death." Wyatt's white tank under his jean short sleeve shirt showed off his upper body's definition. Wyatt pushed the shot gun's barrel into Gerald's lower back to take him out to the barn for his execution. Groans and shrieks approached Queen Ranch, until hungry zombies could be seen. "Sweet Mother of Jesus," Wyatt hit the back of Gerald's head with the shot gun's butt to knock him out so he could get back to the house. "Goliath fetch Sheldon," Wyatt waited for the next command until he saw the German Shepard (acting like a greyhound) to get his new master. "Maxine, get Sean." The female German Shepard forked off of the male's path to fetch her master. Meemaw was already helping Penny get back up as the pregnancy slowed her down. Penny leaned on her as she waddled in the house to get to the kitchen. Meemaw tried to calm Penny so her blood pressure wouldn't affect the twins' health while Wyatt slammed shut and locked the metal shutters after bolting the thick steel kitchen door. "I'm guessing that son of a bitch cut the southern fence after leading the zombies here. He must have planned on them being a diversion from him taking Penny," Wyatt thought out loud. He ran down to the basement to check on the storm cellar's lock. The sounds of feet dragging could be heard on the porch, causing Penny's eyes to widen in fear and her heart to pound like a drum. She was sure the zombies could hear it. Wyatt was going from room to room, quietly shutting the metal shutters to prevent ways of entry. Meemaw plugged in some ear buds to Penny's IPod that had songs of Sheldon playing the piano then gave the ear buds to her. The zombies released moans, groans, and shrieks as they searched for food, they didn't care if it was human or not. They pounded on the siding, looking for a weak spot. Suddenly, gun fire could be heard outside, all around the farm house. Each shot was followed by a dying shriek of a zombie. The sound of rifles and shot guns alike ran out like the strings of a guitar. Fifteen minutes later, the all clear signal was heard through the steel door. Wyatt peeked out the eye hole, he grinned when he saw a gun slung across Sheldon's shoulder. He flung the door real wide, "You better calm her down, boy." Sheldon handed his gun to Wyatt to clean as he knelt by Penny's side. He then took her to their temporary room where he started to sing, "Soft Kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Purr Purr Purr.." Penny's physical exhaustion and new mental exhaustion let her pass out, safely. Her tall husband laid a hand on both sides of her extended stomach to feel for the twins' kicks. When he felt them, he spread a sheet over her and kissed her forehead, deeming it safe for all three involved before returning back down stairs. Sheldon found Steve, Sean, Wyatt, Missy, and Meemaw sitting around the table. "What in my mother's God's name happened?" Steve passed Sheldon a shot of Fire Whiskey. "First, Gerald is back. He came after Penny as she was on the wrap around porch. She managed to defend herself until our grandmother and I came to her aid. I was escorting the son of a bitch to the barn to finally end his sick attachment to your wife, when a hoard of zombies came from the south. I knocked Gerald out then sent Maxine to Sean and Goliath to you. The rest you know, but we suspect that the son of a bitch lead the zombies here as a diversion plus cut the southern fence. I already sent Paul and Richard to repair and strengthen the fence." Sheldon's eyes sharpened, "We didn't see the body of Gerald." "I know, Mary and Missy along with your grandmother are going to watch Penny while we hunt down that fucking son of a bitch," Wyatt had a predatory smile etched across his features. He handed back Sheldon his shot gun, fully loaded. "Doncha worry, Shelly. We'll keep her safe until you get back," Missy reassured her male twin. The male group went out with a shot gun and rifle. They all had some form of shooting experience be it military or hunting. They jumped on 4 waiting horses to follow the single set of tracks that were recent. They rode through the small patch of firs to the cattle grazing land. Menacing smiles spread across their faces as they realized that Gerald Franklin Elliot aka son of a bitch had entered on Butch's pasture. There were no trees in that pasture as Lucifer had knocked them over during the past years. "Shoot him if he leaves the pasture, otherwise let's watch Butch take care of that fucked up son of a bitch," called out Wyatt. Sheldon nodded in complete agreement. It was a fitting punishment for the man trying to encroach on his territory. They sent a heifer into the pasture to lure Butch into their side of the pasture. Sean could mentally visualize Butch's nostrils flaring at the scent of a cow in heat. Steve pulled out an Iphone to capture the moment of Gerald's imminent end. Butch came galloping into view, but then caught Gerald's sweat ridden odor. He charged at the stupid man, who knows little about a bull's territory. Gerald's scream was ten times worse than a little girl's. His eyes darted around looking for a means of escape. He couldn't turn around and the pond with marsh blocked two fence lines. An electric fence prevented escape as well. The men leaned forward in their saddles to enjoy the grotesque show. Gerald F. Elliot didn't have a "Snowball's chance in a hell." He was out of shape, allowing Butch to wear him down. Butch stomped his hooves in agitation and threw his head as he prepared to do his final charge that ended with Gerald gored to death via horns.
