A very late Happy Christmas! I hope you enjoyed the past days and got a lot of presents!
I know, I've been absent I'M SORRY!
I don't really know how to properly right this story from here on, because I know (I feel) it's nearing its end… I have a lot of doubts on how to end it, which is making writing it difficult…
From here on there will pass quite a lot of time in the chapters, I hope I'm able to make it clear enough in the written text of the chapters, if not I'm telling you now beforehand!
I want to thank you again for sticking with this story, almost two years!
I can't seem to fit a divider line between two parts... It's supposed to be after 'No, he would not.' Just to let you know...

Put it down.
Her eyes said it all. She gave the man a death glare.
The sailor quickly put the crate back down and made sure he was out of her way.
Angelica sighed.
She knew she shouldn't have scared him away, but she could do it herself!
Jack had told the crew about her 'condition' and had made sure that the crew would treat her with the utmost respect and care. After all, he had promised to make her feel as comfortable as possible as long as she would be on the ship…
She appreciated that he cared, but now everybody treated her like she was immobilised and completely unfit to do anything!
She wasn't the size of a whale just yet!
She was still a Pirate, one of them! Female or not, with child or not...
Angelica picked up the crate and walked off.
Now if she could only remember what she had been planning on doing with the thing in the first place…
Things were going rather well… So far, so good, you could say.
Captain Sparrow was content. Everything was going according to plan.
He looked down upon his vessel from the helm…
The Pearl was in great shape, his fleet was still expanding, his crew was happy.
And most importantly: his wife was fine. Well, except for her outburst once in a while, but that was to be expected…
He had to say, Angelica wasn't troublesome at all… Over the years he had heard all these crazy stories, told from Pirate to Pirate, about the crying, the screaming, being unreasonable…
That's why most women would find themselves raising the kids on their own, a Pirate wasn't able to handle all that… They rarely stuck around for the entire process...
Then again, making yourself acquainted with a Pirate had never really been a great idea, for male or female… Having his kid was just downright idiotic!
Still, Angelica was having his…
Of course, Angelica would get upset more easily, snapped or barked sooner than she normally would, and could start crying over just a small thing, but that only happened once a week!
Jack had still not felt the urge to run off again though, and she was already three months further along!
As long as everything would continue to run smooth, Jack had nothing to worry about. It would keep his mind off the fact that he was actually becoming a father, a thought that scared him quite a lot…
He didn't mind taking care of Angelica in this state, he just couldn't wrap his head around it that something would eventually come out of there… A tiny new person…
He quickly dropped the thought and walked down, to Angelica.
She stood at the rail. Gibbs stood not far away from her, in case she should need something… She was overlooking the water.
''Hola'' Jack kissed her cheek.
Angelica chuckled. The way he pronounced it… It would never get old… Angelica would probably never teach him, because then it would stop being funny…
She rested her head upon his shoulder and sighed. She had her arms wrapped around herself.
''What is it?'' Jack carefully asked.
He could sense there was something wrong, but if he wasn't cautious enough, he could cause another outburst…
''I'm getting fat…'' she mumbled.
The thing all women on earth hated the most…
Jack swallowed hard. How would he respond? This was a sensitive subject…
''No, you're not. You're gorgeous, as always'' he quickly kissed her cheek again.
Smooth save…
Gibbs walked off behind them, now that Jack was here, his duties to watch Misses Angelica were over…
''It'll only get worse from 'ere…'' Gibbs said.
Jack stuck out his leg, sending Gibbs to the ground as The First Mate tripped over it.
Jack looked angrily at the man on the floor. Gibbs got the message, but still mumbled some insult, before he got up and went on his way…
Before Angelica could even comment on anything, Jack quickly brought the subject of baby names back up. Not that he cared, but it sure entertained Angelica. She could talk about it for hours, and it would keep her mind occupied with something else than her own body shape…
But, no. He would not have a son named 'Alvaro'.
No, he would not.
Angelica stood in the corner of the cabin, looking at the desk in front of her…
What was it?
What did she need?
She knew there was a reason why she walked over here…
She just had to remember…
''Angelica, what's wrong?'' Jack was already in bed.
He had found her in that same spot when he had entered their cabin ten minutes ago. He had expected her to be in bed already, curled up, hands caressing her belly. He would find her in that cute position quite often, not that her belly was really growing... But she had just been standing there at the desk instead…
He hadn't thought much of it, because he had thought she would join him in bed soon. Now that she still hadn't moved from that spot, he was starting to get worried…
''Nothing…'' she mumbled.
She needed to focus, not get distracted by conversations…
''What are you doing there?'' Jack sat up.
''I'm looking for something…'' she knew she could do it, she knew she could remember…
''It was probably not that important… If ya still don't remember…'' Jack asked after a couple of minutes of silence…
''That's not the point!'' ''Be quiet, I can't concentrate!'' she snapped.
''I know it's there, I just need to look for it…'' Angelica mumbled to herself…
''For what?!'' Jack asked confused, he didn't understand it at all!
His wife still hadn't moved, or done anything…
''I don't know!'' Angelica said frustrated.
She turned around and stomped over to the bed. She dropped down on it, feeling defeated…
''Why can't I remember anything?!'' she complained.
Stupid baby brain… All these hormones were messing with her head… Some days she couldn't even remember how she had got up in the morning, or if she had had something to eat yet!
''It's okay, luv'' ''It will come back to ya…'' her husband tried to calm her down…
''Come 'ere. Do you want me to rub your feet again?'' he asked.
Angelica smiled weakly. Jack knew what she needed… She carefully bent over, trying to take of her boots. Her belly had grown a lot and she could just reach them… It wouldn't take long before someone else had to put her boots on…
She kicked up her boots and snuggled up to Jack.
''Luv, I can't reach your feet like this…'' he reminded her…
Angelica quickly sat up, and stared at the ground. Embarrassed. She had already forgotten!
''Come here! Now, smile for me'' Jack pulled her legs onto the bed and started tickling her feet.
''No, Jack! No!'' Angelica tried to pull her legs from his grasp.
Too late… Jack grinned, as his wife tried desperately not to laugh and not to give in, but soon she failed and the sound of her laughter filled the cabin.
Captain Jack Sparrow had no mercy…
It was getting harder, she knew…
Her feet hurt, her back ached, she was just so tired…
She stared at the crate in front of her. She could still do it…
She kept staring at it, as if looking at it would made it move by itself… She was so exhausted.
''Could you…?'' Scrum passed by.
''Of course, Misses'' Scrum picked up the crate and took it away.
Angelica gave him a grateful smile, before making her way over to the stairs that led to the helm. She sat herself down and rested her head against the railing.
''Luv, you can't keep doing this…'' Jack sat down next to her…
Jack had seen it all happen in front of him, as he had been standing at the helm.
''No, I can…'' Angelica tried to sound convincing…
''You're exhausted.'' You could see it on her face.
''I know…'' she rested her head upon his shoulder.
She knew what this meant. It was over. They would set sail to Spain and she would be dropped off…
She didn't want to be alone, but staying here was no option… She couldn't move around on the ship in this condition…
You could imagine her size… It wouldn't take long now for the baby to arrive… Probably a month or two…
''I will tell Gibbs to change course…'' Jack carefully got up.
Angelica grabbed his arm firmly and stared into his eyes, tears ready to fall…
She didn't want to be left alone in Spain…
Please. Don't leave me. Come back for me. You have to come back.
Her eyes screamed the words…
Like a river always running
I keep losing you
Like a fire always burning
I'll be here for you
If you're ready
Heart is open
I'll be waiting
Come find me
If you're searching for forever
I'll be waiting
Come find me
Jack bent down and kissed her, gently but with a strong devotion…
''I will'' he answered her silent prayers.
He would always come to her…
