A/N: I blame this on YouTube and its suggested videos. Inspired by the song Broken by Seether. I guess it's RobStar. Beware, the word broken is repeated many times. Also, fear the lack of proper sentences. This is stupidly short.

Broken

She smiles in the most painful of times simply because she knows someone has to be the optimist.

She can calmly reply when you yell at her, even though it's obvious she's hurt.

Even in the most stressful, depressing times, she resists the urge to cry in front of us.

With all of her fighting ability and knowledge of a criminal's mind, she still gives an enemy a chance to go quietly before she attacks.

She's not naïve. She may play innocent, but she's not. She's been through far too much to be innocent.

She seems like the strong one on our team, and I don't mean just physically. The truth is, she is strong.

But she's also broken.

How can someone be so strong yet still broken? That girl's a million contradictions.

She wipes my tears while fighting back her own.

She holds me up even though she's close to collapsing.

When I'm on the edge of a breakdown, she's there, ready to catch me, even though she's dangerously close to the same doom.

I once heard it takes the strong to love the broken. I disagree. I think that it's the broken part of her the loves the broken parts in me, two pieces of hearts forming a whole one.

Apart, we may be broken, but together we're something unbreakable.
