Verina Obolenksy is the granddaughter of the (cameo featured) minister of magic from Bulgaria. Verina grew up sheltered, famous, and privileged, surrounded by love and comfort. Never was she prepared for what happened at the age of fifteen just before her sixteenth birthday and final year in school. As she not only loses the people she loves she also finds out her true identity.
