I apologize for taking so long to continue this story.
Sesshoumaru turned around and faced the only being, who would dared to barge into his bedroom. His mother scanned the scene in front of her and smirked when Sesshoumaru moved protectively in front of his little brother.
"Mother, what is so important that you disregard basic courtesy of knocking on a closed door before entering?" Sesshoumaru directed his icy glare at his mother.
She smirked and youki began to flare in the air. "Inuyasha is essential for the continuation of the inu youkai bloodline."
Inuyasha had all forgotten about that.
"Mother, you cannot stake a claim on my little brother. He is mine and will remain mine. I will defend all that is mine even against you." Sesshoumaru changed his stance and was ready to fight.
"You ungrateful pup, is this the way you treat your mother. Are you that selfish to deny the inu clan a continuation of the bloodline? Don't you want pups running around?" Lady Ina's look changed from dangerous to hurt.
Inuyasha knew what he had to do. He wouldn't be the reason for this mother and son confrontation. He wouldn't be the reason for so much hurt and trouble. But still, he didn't want to mate Sesshoumaru's mother. He wanted her son and nobody else. Maybe they could go for in vitro fertilization. He was about to suggest just that to the two inu youkai, when Sesshoumaru turned towards him with sadness in his eyes.
Inuyasha felt his heart stop, his breath stuck in his throat. His brother wouldn't…, no, he couldn't…, no, he wasn't… Inuyasha wouldn't accept this. He didn't want to mate her, he only wanted Sesshoumaru. He would die without him. He needed him as air.
Sesshoumaru tenderly took his little brothers hands in his and looked how they lay trusting in his. He carefully curled his long finger around them and looked sincere in his little brother eyes. "Inuyasha, I…you…you have a choice, you have a chance to have your own family." Sesshoumaru's eyes were filled with love and sadness. He didn't want to let go of his little brother, but his mother was right. He was being selfish. Inuyasha could have so much more if he, Sesshoumaru, wouldn't cling so desperately onto the young one. He would back off.
Inuyasha pulled his hands out his brother's grasp and looked with eyes full of love at the youkai he was so madly in love with.
"You are a selfish bastard," he whispered and stepped closer to his brother.
Sesshoumaru automatically opened his arms and wrapped them around the slim waist of the younger one and pulled him closer. Inuyasha smirked and tenderly tucked a stray platinum lock of hair behind an elfish ear.
"I already have a family. You are my family and you are all the family I need," he said and nestled his body against the frame of his brother.
"Indeed, so I don't count, do I? You are ungrateful brats, the both of you. Well, if you two are content with just the two of you I will leave and let the two of you to yourselves. Don't mind me. I'll leave so you don't have to deal with me. I will leave and stay in my castle on my own, not bothering you." Lady Taisho sounded hurt and turned around to leave.
"No, please don't leave." The words were out of his mouth before he could stop them.
"No, don't stop me. You have made you decision. You both have all the family you want right next to you. So I won't bother you anymore. I don't need your pity." Lady Taisho straightened her back and glared at the two boys.
"No, listen to me. I didn't mean it like that. I do consider you as my family, but not like that. Not like getting mated to you and stuff. I want only Sesshoumaru as my mate and nobody else. I love him and he loves me." Inuyasha was still impressed by the fact, that his impeccable brother loved him, like LOVED him.
"Mother, stop harassing us and stop acting childish, you are my mother and that will never change, even if you are a big pain in the…" Inuyasha smacked him on the back of his head. "I love you and I will always want you around, but not too often, once a year, or once a decade, maybe more like once a century?" Sesshoumaru tried to backpedal because his mother had the strangest character and was smiling creepily. Inuyasha smacked him again on the back of his head. Sesshoumaru scolded at the impertinent reprimand. Inuyasha didn't know the horror that was his mother.
"You keep hurting my feelings son, but I will be graceful and even take in consideration if I want to forgive you both for all the pain and distress you have caused." Lady Taisho looked very smug with herself now.
"Ina your sense of drama is admirable." Lord Terrence stepped from behind the inu youkai female into the room.
"I warned you that they were middle of things. You never listen." Lord Terrence winked at Inuyasha.
The hanyou felt blood rush to his face. He tensed in Sesshoumaru's arms. The older brother glared at the two uninvited guests in his bedroom. He felt his little brother tense and rubbed small soothing circles on Inuyasha's hips. Inuyasha felt the tension in his body change from erratic to erotic.
"Mother, although I love and respect you, there is a limit to the welcome in my bedroom and the limit is vastly infringed." Sesshoumaru was all but ready to throw the two uninvited guest out his bedroom.
"Ina you barged in here interrupting an obvious intimate moment and you haven't told them yet? Lord Terrence looked irritated at the female inu youkai.
"Mind your tongue Terrence. I may have accepted your proposal to become your mate, but that isn't equivalent to accepting your dominance over me." The tone of her voice was icy cold, but the fire in her eyes was telling a complete different story.
Lord Terrence smirked and he felt the right body parts harden. He may be an ice youkai, but his blood was flowing hot through his veins. He had waited very long. Long enough to know that he needed her writhing under him, right now.
The news of their engagement was fantastic. Inuyasha wanted to go and congratulate the two, but Sesshoumaru wasn't moving an inch. So he just congratulated them from the distance.
Sesshoumaru looked bored again. "Mother, I congratulate you for finally making the right decision and you Terrence. I had always considered you a wise man, but today you proved me wrong. But still, you two have my blessing."
Lady Taisho scuffed, Lord Terrence smiled widely and Inuyasha almost fainted. Sesshoumaru had made a joke. Inuyasha elbowed him for good measures.
"Come Terrence let's go. I won't stand here and let the insolent pup insult me."Lady Taisho glared and her son. The glare was intensified and returned.
Inuyasha and Lord Terrence sighed deep. "You two are like children, no not children that would be an insult to them. You two are like spoiled brats."
"I agree," murmured Inuyasha.
"You two brats can have your glaring contest later. Now, I need you boys to sit down. You too Ina, you sit down on that chair there." Lord Terrence spoke stern and unyielding.
For once the three inu's did what they were told. Inuyasha sat on the edge of the bed with Sesshoumaru plastered to his side. His arm was casually slung around the waist of his younger sibling. His hand relaxed on Inuyasha's thigh with the fingers on the inside of his thigh, close to his crotch. No, that was not distracting at all. Inuyasha hoped Terrence would be quick. He and his brother had more pressing businesses to attend to and they got more pressing with each stroke of his brother's thumb.

"Inuyasha, I had promised to update you about the tests I had done with your blood. I also promised that you would get the results first, so you could decide whether you would share it or not. But miss busybody over here…" Lord Terrence pointed towards Lady Taisho, who actually stuck her tongue out to him. Lord Terrence blinked and almost started to hyperventilate.
Inuyasha almost fainted again and Sesshoumaru rolled his eyes a little.
"Eh…eh yeah, the results, eh yeah the results are…" Lord Terrence had to become from that overly cute and sexy act from his mate to be.
"If this interruption is because you have discovered that Inuyasha has a dormant special fighting skill, I will kill you." Sesshoumaru's cold threat was received by a scoff of his mother.
She accompanied it with a soft "Dream on, pup."
But before Sesshoumaru could retaliate Inuyasha turned towards him and splayed his right hand over his heart, that calmed him and also shut him up.
"No Sesshoumaru, as if I would interrupt your quality time together for something like that. This is more important."Lord Terrence said with a solemnly voice.
"Inuyasha, you…eh you…" Lord Terrence was lost for words.
"I'm not dying, am I?" Inuyasha asked anxious. Sesshoumaru's head whipped around and his worried eyes scanned a burning trail over his little brother's body.
"Oh my god, you are getting on my nerves." Lady Taisho spat the words towards her frustrating mate to be. And with a voice that sounded like the chiming of a bell she announced. "I'm so happy. Your father has kept his word. He has sired a female and now my son you can make inu-pups, lots and lots of inu-pups." "She looked like she could start clapping any moment now and jump up and down like a over cheerful fan girl.
Inuyasha felt his heart freeze and Sesshoumaru stopped stroking Inuyasha's inner thigh.
"What? I have a sister?" They said it in sync with the same horror in their voices.
"Silly boys, sometime you can be so dramatic. Off course you don't have a sister. How would we come to that conclusion by testing Inuyasha's blood?" Lady Taisho said with a frown on her face.
Inuyasha breathed out relieved and heard Seshoumaru take a deep breath. Inuyasha glanced sideways and wondered if his brother was disappointed or relieved. The heated glance that settled on him was enough to tell him that his brother was relieved.
"Let me explain." Lord Terrence wasn't happy with the interruption of Lady Taisho. The boys were now even more confused.
He walked over to Inuyasha and crunched down in front of him. He took the young hanyou's hands in his own and ignored the golden glare of the older brother. Inuyasha felt uneasy and fought the urge to pull his hands out the hold of the ice youkai.
"Inuyasha, your blood shows some special consistency. It shows that you have the ability to have pups." Lord Terrence looked intense at Inuyasha, assessing the boy's emotions.
Inuyasha looked confused at him, but not as confused as he had anticipated."Okay, that is great. So my seed isn't as worthless as I thought.
Lady Taisho grunted in annoyance and Lord Terrence sighed, shaking his head. "No, that is not what I meant. You have the ability to carry pups, to give birth to them." Lord Terrence made hand gestures to visualize a birth.
Inuyasha looked with wide horrified eyes at him. "What, I'll become a girl?" Inuyasha was mortified.
"Sort of, yes, but no, not really," Lord Terrence had to let go of the hands in his, when Inuyasha restlessly began to pull away.
"Be accurate and to the point." The deep voice of Sesshoumaru was like a burning inferno.
Lord Terrence shifted back a little. He wasn't one to be intimidated, but he felt a chill running down his back. "I've examined Inuyasha and he has certain female parts that would make it possible to carry a pup.
"But I don't bleed. Isn't that required?" Inuyasha sounded agitated. He couldn't believe it.
Sesshoumaru turned his eyes towards his little brother and let it roam over the delicate features.
"You are dismissed." Sesshoumaru glanced briefly towards Lord Terrence and Lady Taisho, making it clear that he wanted to be alone with the hanyou.
"Have fun boys. Come Terrence." Lady Taisho smirked meaningful towards her son.
Lord Terrence took her outstretched hand with a small desperate shake of the head. He walked her out the room and closed the door firmly behind them.
