Chapter 36: To Acknowledge A Name

The next morning, Juarez coughs and is kind of warm to the touch as he still sleeps. Silvy cosily sleeps next to him. Juarez shivers a bit and snuggles closer to warm Silvy. She smiles and sleeps. He then wakes up as he needs to sneeze. Silvy still snores. Juarez sneezes rather loudly. Silvy is in a deep sleep so doesn't notice. Juarez gets out of the bed. Silvy smiles and sleeps. He limps a little to the bathroom. He throws up a little in the toilet. Silvy still sleeps. Juarez sits in front of the toilet and shivers some. He closes his eyes for a minute and sits shivering in silence.

Bob wakes up from sounds in his house he doesn't recognize. Grace still sleeps. Bob nudges Grace. Grace snuggles more to his chest. Bob nudges her. She wakes a little. "There are strangers in the house..." Bob mutters.

"No, it's your daughter and her criminal pet..." She yawns.

"Oh..."

"Yup..." She rubs her face more into his chest with a yawn.

"I'm tired." He says.

"Me too..." Grace murmurs.

Bob snores already again. Grace sleeps again, too.

Meanwhile, Juarez has started throwing up again and his fiancée is still sleeping. Juarez finishes and shivers as he flushes the toilet. Silvy starts to stir some. Juarez waddles back to the bed and gets back in next to her. She snuggles up to him and smiles. He coughs some with a sniff. She sleeps close. Juarez gets his face in her chest feathers with a sniff as he doesn't feel very well at all. Silvy sleeps close to unwell Juarez. He then turns away from her and curls up with his stuffed cat. Silvy snores loudly now. He sniffs and shivers. She spoons him and snores loudly. He sneezes and curls into a little ball under the covers. She nearly lays over him. Juarez shivers and lets Silvy because she is warm. Silvy sleeps on him. He coughs and then sneezes under his Silvy blanket. She still snores on him. He sniffs some amd feels queasy again.

Bob in the meanwhile wakes up and stretches. Grace still sleeps next to him. She tries to snuggle closer to him. Bob stretches and sits up. She snuggles to his leg. Bob wonders if he is allowed out of the bed. She snores a bit softly. Bob shrugs and just gets up. His girlfriend just continues to sleep. Bob waddles a bit slowly downstairs.

While Bob goes downstairs, Juarez manages to inch himself out from under Silvy and painfully slides to the bathroom again. Silvy wakes up a little from that. Her boyfriend throws up a little again. Silvy now gets up. He still throws up. Silvy looks at him. He finishes and leans back, not noticing Silvy. "You okay?" She asks. He only shrugs a little silently. "Is that a yes shrug or a no shrug?"

"I don't know..." He sniffs a little.

Silvy nods some. "Should daddy look you over?" Silvy asks.

Juarez shakes his head a bit. "No..."

"But he is a doctor..." Silvy says.

"But he doesn't like me and will just check me over with a bullet through the head." He says and flushes the toilet.

"He's a doctor, he has to check on you, right?" Silvy thinks.

"It's fine… I'm fine enough, I guess..." He shrugs a little and gets up, shivering. "I've been worse."

Silvy nods a little. "Do you want a painkiller?" He nods a little and shivers. Silvy hands him a chick one.

He looks at it curiously. "This is one chicks take." He says. "I think I graduated up to adult ones a few years back..."

"But you're so little..."

Juarez looks at her a bit hurt and waddles from the bathroom.

"I just don't want to poison you or something… Dad says I need to take these already because I'm smaller and a girl… And you're even smaller..." She says silently.

"Fine..." He murmurs and gets the child painkiller.

Silvy kisses his cheek and smiles. He takes the child painkiller. "Though I've taken adult ones for years now and haven't been poisoned yet..."

Silvy looks softly at him. Juarez sighs a bit and crawls into Silvy's bed with a shiver. Silvy follows him. Juarez sneezes and feels bad. Silvy softly nuzzles him. He looks at her. "You can go eat with your padres..." He smiles a tiny bit and is a little pale.

"Don't you want to eat?"

Juarez shakes his head some. "Not hungry..." He silently sniffs.

Silvy nods some and gets up and kisses his cheek. He watches her silently. She gets up and waddles downstairs. He lays there in bed.

Bob waddles straight to the kitchen and gets cookies. He happily eats them, glad to be finally sneaked out of bed. He is munching many cookies. Soon, Grace waddles into the kitchen and gives him a look. "I don't think you're supposed to be here?"

Bob spins and looks at her with the cookies. Grace looks at him. Bob rapidly stuffs most of the left cookies in his beak. She sighs some. "You didn't have to chipmunk it, I wasn't going to take the cookies or anything." She says. Bob's still got his beak full and looks at her. She rubs her face a little. "Did you even eat proper food first or just dive into the cookies?"

Bob shakes his head a little and tries to munch away the cookies. Grace nods a bit and starts to make them some actual breakfast. Bob finishes the cookies and waddles to the table. His girlfriend makes breakfast. Bob yawns and sways a bit. Grace brings their breakfasts to the table. Bob sits down at the table. Grace sits, too. Bob looks tired already at his plate. His girlfriend begins on her plate. Bob yawns and starts too. She watches him as she eats. Bob eats and looks tired. Grace looks up and nods to Silvy. "Morning." Silvy doesn't smile back and sits down. "What's wrong?" Grace en asks curiously.

"I think Juarez is sick..."

"Oh?" Grace looks at her.

Silvy nods worriedly.

Grace looks towards Bob. "Well, maybe you can sweet talk your daddy into checking him over..."

"Daddy?" Silvy asks.

Bob's half asleep at the table.

Grace pokes Bob's shoulder. "Bobby."

"Mhm?" He yawns.

"Wakey, Wakey, your daughter needs you to do something.."

"What?" He asks.

Grace looks at him. "She thinks her pet is sick."

Bob looks at her and then at Silvy. "So?"

"She wants you to check him over and make him better." Grace shrugs. "You know, doctor stuffs."

Bob looks at them and then at his food. "But I'm eating and tired and he is a criminal. As long as he isn't dying on the spot he probably is fine enough." He shrugs.

Grace shrugs some.

Silvy gets a knife from the table. "Check him." She growls and points it at her dad.

Grace watches them as she drinks some coffee. Bob looks unimpressed at his daughter. "I'd use a different knife if I were you. You make me laugh." Bob shrugs and gets a bit slowly up.

Silvy bounces angrily with the knife after him. Grace curiously gets up and follows them. Bob hands Silvy a meat knife and gets the normal knife from her. "So, that's better." He shrugs and then yawns and just waddles away.

Silvy growls and jumps behind him. Grace chuckles a little amusedly. Silvy tries to stab her father's back and he doesn't flinch or look back. "Silvia!" Grace then says with an open beak. "We don't stab family! See! The criminal is being a bad influence on you!"

"He is not! Check him! Check him!" She yells now to Grace with her knife back out of Bob's feathers, who watches them from sitting on the stairs. Grace sighs some. "I guess I can give him a glance over if Bob won't..." Silvy smiles and hugs her. Grace hugs her back some and waddles up the stairs. Silvy follows and Bob goes to the bedroom.

Grace enters the room and look around. "Where is he?"

Juarez is sleeping under all the covers.

"In bed." Silvy points to the small bump.

Grace waddles over and pretty softly pulls the covers back. Juarez starts shivering more in his curled up sleeping ball. Silvy waddles over too and watches. "What have his symptoms been?" Grace asks. "Vomiting?" Silvy says unsure. "Coughing?"

"Sneezing, shivering, small fever, no appetite..." Juarez mumbles and looks at them tiredly.

Grace nods some. "Sounds like a heavy cold or a light flu."

Silvy looks worriedly.

"But, I'm not a doctor, so I don't really know..." Grace then adds with a shrug. Silvy nods worriedly. "What now?"

Grace shrugs. "Cold medicine and juice?"

"But shouldn't daddy come look?" She asks.

"Well, nothing short of being bribed with cookies and sex I think will get him to do that." Grace says.

"But you can try?" Silvy pleads.

Grace looks at Silvy for a rather long minute before sighing. "Sure..."

Silvy smiles and hugs her. Grace hugs her. Silvy hugs. Grace breaks the hug and waddles to the bedroom. Bob is on the bed reading a medical magazine. "Well, I've been told to bribe you with sex and cookies if you'll check her pet over." She says.

"How long no sex if I don't do it?" Bob shrugs.

Grace thinks some. "A month?"

"I can live with that." Bob says and leans back with a yawn.

"How about a year?" She then asks, thinking she doubts she could go that long personally.

Bob still yawns. "More your loss than mine."

Grace flops across him. "What about no cookies for a year?"

Bob looks at her wide eyed. "Monster!"

"Well, you're the one who started the threats of going without. I was wanting to bribe you with more cookies and sex, maybe both at the same time." She shrugs.

"No cookies and I'll divorce." Bob says and folds his flippers.

"But we're not married anyway..." She says and sits up and looks at him. "But, I won't bother your cookies, okay?" She now says more quietly, guessing he must love her less than cookies.

Bob nods some and turns over. Grace looks at him a bit sadly. "I guess I'll just go in for work now… I can go home to my place after that if that's what you want..."

He looks confused at her. "Why?"

Grace shrugs a bit. "Because you don't love me as much as cookies and you're wanting to break up because I said something about cookies that you know I wouldn't do anyway?" She quietly says. "I'm sorry… I can go now if I'm really that bothersome..."

"No… I just want you and cookies..." Bob says.

Grace looks at him with a sniff. "Really?" Bob nods. She hugs him. He hugs her back. She hugs him closely. Bob rubs her back. "Can't you just check her criminal so she'll leave us alone?" She asks.

"Can we send him tomorrow on the mission then?"

Grace nods. "Yup."

Bob nods some and gets up. Grace watches him. Bob goes to the bedroom and removes the blankets, turns Juarez into position and looks him over. Juarez wakes up and for instinct tries to back up some as he shivers. Bob keeps him kind of roughly in place. "Small temperature, chills, anything more?" He asks.

"Coughing, sneezing, vomiting...Sore..." He shivers and looks at Bob kind of silently.

Bob nods. "Well, you have a small cold." He says. "Take a painkiller and go on, I'd say."

"I took one of those chick ones from Silvy, though I can't tell it did anything." He coughs.

"Of course it didn't." Bob rolls his eyes.

Juarez looks at him with a nod. "But she wouldn't let me take an adult one. She said I was too small." He frowns some.

Bob shrugs and waddles out. Juarez watches and curls up in the bed. Silvy waddles over to him. "Can I have a grown up painkiller now?" He mumbles to her. Silvy nods and hands him one. He takes it and snuggles to her. Silvy pets him. He smiles a bit. "Feeling better now?" She asks. He shakes his head a little. Silvy softly kisses his cheek. He smiles a bit. she kisses his other cheek. "I'm sorry I got sick..." He then silently says. "It's okay, honey." Silvy says softly and hugs him. He hugs her and coughs. She hugs him. He feels sick again and hugs her a bit tighter. Silvy hugs him tighter back. He then releases her as he feels like he's about to throw up again. He looks kind of greenly at her. Silvy gets a trashcan over for him. He gets it and throws up. Silvy rubs his back. He throws up.

Bob goes straight to Grace. Grace is on the bed. He yawns at her and goes back in the bed. "Don't tell the doctor tomorrow I left this often..." He yawns. She nods and snuggles to him. "Okay..." Bob nods and falls asleep. Grace watches him and thinks if she has to work today. Bob sleeps close to her. She softly covers him up. Bob smiles in his sleep. She then softly gets out of the bed. Bob reaches for her flipper. She smiles some as he gets her flipper. She sits back down. Bob smiles in his sleep. Grace pets him. Bob smiles and nuzzles the flipper. She giggles a little. Bob smiles. Grace snuggles back to him. Bob smiles more. She smiles and goes back to sleep next to him. He smiles. She smiles some too.

After a little while Bob wakes up again. His girlfriend is sleeping close to him. Bob sits up some. She puts her flipper on him. "Down..." She murmurs and snuggles closer. Bob smiles and lays back down. She snuggles and pretty much lays on him. Bob smiles and holds her close. She snores on him. Bob pets her. She smiles and sleeps all over him. Bob has her happily all over him. She smiles and snores. Bob kisses her cheek. She smiles and wakes up again. He looks lovingly at her. She looks lovingly back at him and yawns some. He softly nuzzles her. She giggles a little and hugs him. Bob hugs her back.

"I like Saturdays… So calm and no bossy Erics..." She smiles and cuddles him. Bob nods and kisses her head. Grace smiles and kisses his cheek. Bob smiles and rubs her shoulders. Grace smiles and is snuggled on him. Bob holds her close. Grace stretches a bit. Bob smiles. "So call the criminal in here and sent him away?"

"Sure." She nods and then leans to her bag and pulls out the file. Bob nods and looks at it. "Criminal! Here! Now!" He then yells. Grace sits up off of Bob. He leans a bit back in the bed and straightens his feathers as he waits.

It isn't long until Juarez silently and palely limps into the room and looks at the floor. "Yes, sir?" He silently asks.

"Look over this." Bob hands him the file.

Juarez nods a little and gets the file and looks it over. "It's a suicide mission to Russia..."

"Suicide? Pfft. Not for a good agent." Bob lies.

"I'm not stupid, sir." Juarez looks at him. "I've heard my cousin Alejandro talk about agents he knows that we're sent on this and never came back. It's a mission to Russia… But, I will go on it, if that is what you are wanting." He says and coughs some.

Bob grins some as he didn't even need to use his bait.

Juarez looks at him some. "But I will go on it because I have plans of living and succeeding where your agents have failed." He says. "And for that I want my recorded cleared."

"Fine." Bob looks at him with a curious look.

Juarez nods some. "Since I would like to get my life turned around, while I know you'd rather me dead."

"You go tomorrow." Bob says.

"On one of the planes from the base or my own?" He asks with a small nod.

"We're not stupid." Bob nearly growls.

"I know you are not, sir, I was just wondering because the base planes from what I have seen are outdated and dangerous."

"And you're not going in one of your toys."

Juarez shrugs some. "It's what Silvy and I flew over in. I parked it at the base."

"Was that a but?" Bob looks at him.

"I don't think so?" He says now a little confused. "I mean, my plane isn't a toy..."

"So it was a but." Bob says and sits more up.

Juarez is confused. "I'm not sure what you mean, sir, but I will use a base plane if that is what you want." He coughs some.

Bob nods. "You leave 8 am sharp."

"Sharp as in British sharp or Peruvian sharp?" He asks curiously.

"Sharp as in the knife that will cut your head off if you are not there 8 am sharp."

"So, Britsh sharp." Juarez nods some with a very silent chuckle.

"Leave." Bob orders.

"Yes, sir..." The ex-criminal sighs a bit before slowly leaving the room.

Bob nods and snuggles to Grace. Grace smiles and snuggles him. Bob smiles and hugs her close. Grace hugs him back with a content smile. Bob smiles and hugs her too. She kisses his cheek. Bob smiles and kisses hers back. "When did the doctor say again that I was allowed to leave this bed?"

"I don't know, a few days?" Grace shrugs a bit.

"And work?"

"A few days after that?" She thinks.

"So that's not tomorrow..." Bob sighs.

Grace nods and pets him. "Right..."

"But the mission starts tomorrow..."

"I can go get him set up and off on it." She shrugs some. Bob nods some and looks exhausted. She pets him softly. "Why don't you nap more?" Bob nods and falls immediately asleep. Grace chuckles a bit.

Silvy looks at Juarez entering the room. Juarez gets in to the bed with a cough. Silvy looks at him. "What was that about?"

"I'm being sent on a mission to Russia tomorrow..." He says.

Silvy looks at him with wide eyes. "No!"

Juarez nods a bit. "But, I'll be back as soon as possible...I've got to go on it so that they will clear my record..."

"But you'll die..."

"Not if I play my cards right..." He sighs. "I plan on coming back alive. I've got to."

"It's a suicide mission!" Silvy exclaims. "Nobody has ever came back alive!"

"I know, but so far no one has been able to kill me yet. Not even myself." He shrugs. "So, maybe the odds are in my favor, especially if I go by my own rules and not the way written in that file."

"But..." Silvy starts crying. He softly hugs her. Silvy cries and hugs him. He hugs her and then softly takes out his knife. "You keep her for me..." He says.

"P-promise me you come back...Promise me, please…"

Juarez nods and looks at her. "I promise I'll come back." He says softly and gives her the knife.

"N-not in a coffin, please." Silvy says and gets the knife.

"I promise I'll come back alive." He kisses her cheek. She sniffs and kisses his back. He hugs her closely. "I'll be leaving tomorrow at eight..." She nods some and hugs him closely back. He kisses her cheek and then coughs some. She looks at him, scared. He gets into a small coughing fit. Silvy rubs his back. He coughs. Silvy rubs his back. He finally stops coughing and pants some. Silvy then hugs him. He hugs her back. "Should we go to sleep now?" She asks silently.

He thinks some. "But it's not even noon yet..."

"But you're sick..." She says.

"But you're not..." He coughs a bit.

"That doesn't mean I can't stay with you..."

"But I don't have to sleep..." He says and shivers a bit. "We can do something..."

Silvy shakes her head. "No, you can go to sleep." She says softly.

Juarez snuggles to her. "Are you sure?"

Silvy nods. He smiles a little and hugs her. She hugs him back. He hugs her until he falls asleep. She smiles and softly lays him down. He sleeps close to her. She smiles and nuzzles him. He smiles and snores a bit. She smiles and sits up more. He sleeps and coughs a bit. She gets up. He gets her foot. She watches him. He smiles and hugs her foot. She lets him. "Mine..." He mumbles. "Yes, yours..." She says.

Juarez smiles and hugs the foot. Silvy lets him. He sneezes in his sleep. She watches him. He releases the foot and turns over. She gets up. He now mumbles about snow-cones. She waddles downstairs. He stays asleep upstairs. She goes to watch television. Grace soon joins her downstairs. Silvy smiles some at her and watches the TV. Grace sits next to her with a smile. Silvy doesn't smile anymore at her. Grace looks at the TV. "So, your father seems to be doing better..."

"Great." Silvy says.

Grace nods some.

Silvy looks at the TV. Grace looks over at her. Silvy looks kind of angry. "Juarez had asked Bob for a hard mission to have his record cleared..." She says.

"Asked?" Silvy snorts.

Grace nods. "He had, yes. You could ask him that yourself...And this mission, we really need someone to accomplish it."

"But he will never come back." Silvy growls.

Grace looks at her. "Actually, I think he might." She says. "I never assign a mission that I don't think someone can handle… Bob might, but I really think he might be able to accomplish it." She shrugs. "I mean, he's been in the Stanton Gang for years, his mother was a skilled criminal, his father an alright agent. He has experience in many fields that our best agents don't."

"Nobody ever came back, even those you did send." Silvy folds her flippers. "Even Roderick didn't."

"But they were different..." Grace shrugs. "Have a bit of hope, Silvy. I'm saying your little criminal may succeed where all those others failed. If he does, that may be points in his favor for Bob."

Silvy nods a really little bit.

Grace nods, too.

"You know nothing about love, do you?"

Grace looks at her hurt. "More than you think I do..."

Silvy snorts.

"To be honest, I know more of heartbreak." She shrugs a bit.

Silvy snorts again.

"And I get you love that criminal, alright? But, your father is stubborner than Sparky was when I first rode him. It takes time to get him to change his mind." She says.

Silvy looks at her. "Why don't you trust me that he is good?"

"I'm on the fence about him. I'd like to believe it and trust you...But, I've done that before and the criminal turned out bad and tried to kill me." She says. "I'm just being cautious..."

"He's good." Silvy folds her flippers more.

Grace nods a bit. "But try convincing that to Bob..."

Silvy glares at her.

"Your father used to have a more open view of criminals, you know..." She sighs. "I think your mother had to do with that..."

Silvy looks at her.

Grace looks back at her. Silvy still looks at her. "It's true. He used to think it wasn't our place to really judge them or anything… He used to be reasonable..." She shrugs a bit.

"Oh..." Silvy says.

"Yeah..." She says. Silvy nods some. Grace nods a little. Silvy sniffs now. Her dad's girlfriend softly hugs her. Silvy hugs her back. Grace hugs her closely. Silvy hugs her and sobs. Grace hugs her and softly rocks her. Silvy cries. Grace kisses her cheek softly and rocks her. Silvy cries upset still. Grace rocks her. Silvy calms down. Grace rocks her softly still. Silvy looks around.

"So… When exactly did I become old by your standards?" Grace asks and rubs her back. Silvy shrugs. Grace pets her softly. Silvy yawns. She hugs her softly. "Maybe you could spend some time with your father tomorrow?"

"Isn't he going to kill me? I did some criminal things, you know..."

"You're his daughter. Sure he's been a little mad, but he can't be mad at you forever..." She rubs her back. "But he loves you and has been worried about you..."

Silvy nods a little.

Grace nods and hugs her. "And like any father, he really just doesn't want you to leave his nest yet..." She kisses her head softly.

"But I want to go live with Jua-Jua..." Silvy says.

"I know...But he will have to get adjusted to that on his own time..." She softly pets her. "I mean, you're his only child now. He is going to have a tough time letting you go."

"Now?" Silvy asks with a look.

"Well, he had Edmond before, too..." Grace says with a small shrug and feels a bit hurt by Silvy's look.

"Are you planning on…?"

Grace just shrugs again. "I would like to… But, as you say, I'm old." She gives her a look. "Plus, I doubt Bob would want to have any with me anyway..."

Silvy shrugs some.

Grave shrugs, too. "And my sister has always said I'd make a terrible mother anyway." She says. "But, before any of that, we'd have to get married and I doubt he would do that..."

Silvy nods some again.

"I mean, we haven't talked about that kind of stuff...I think he prefers just dating me until I do something to irritate him. Then he breaks up and we give each other the cold shoulder for a while before going out again..." She sighs.

"Doesn't really sound like him, though."

Grace shrugs a bit. "Well, you talk to him about it. I'm a pain to live with and cause him a lot of stress. Maybe it's healthier for us to just date..."

"I would like you as mommy." Silvy then shrugs.

Grace looks at her and hugs her. "But it's not like you'll be here much for me to be your mommy. You'll be with Juarez or whatever...And I'd like to be your mommy, but..."

Silvy looks at her.

"But that is something you should probably talk with your father about."

"But I'm not the one marrying him!"

"But I'm not sure how to talk to him about it myself..." She sighs.

"SIGH." Silvy says.

"I mean, this morning I said, not meaning it, that I would threaten a year without cookies if he wouldn't check your pet over. He said he wanted a divorce and I reminded him we weren't married!" She sighs.

Silvy now giggles a little.

Grace groans some. "And you've said it yourself, I'm old. I'm probably not as desirable and sexy to him anymore. He probably wants someone younger and sexier anyway..." She sighs.

"He's older." Silvy shrugs.

"Just by two years..." She says and leans back on the couch.

"Still, it's old." Silvy shrugs.

"And usually older guys prefer younger ladies… Like ones in their thirties..." She sighs.

"But dad isn't quite the ordinary guy, is he now?"

Grace shakes her head a little. "No… He prefers cookies..."

Silvy then bursts out laughing. "I'm already engaged!" She then giggles and shows the ring.

Grace looks at the ring and nods a bit. "Very pretty… And you and him only have been going out a couple weeks..." She sighs. "Your father and I have been dating on and off for nearly twenty years! You'd think if he wanted me he would have proposed by now..."

Silvy shrugs.

Grace sighs and looks at her. "But, congrats anyway..." Silvy smiles at her. "Thank you."

Grace smiles and rubs her back some. Silvy kisses her cheek and hops up. She smiles some and watches her. Silvy hops to her room. Grace watches TV. Silvy jumps onto the bed.

Juarez wakes with a jolt. Silvy giggles and kisses his cheek. He looks at her tiredly. She giggles and kisses him. He kisses her back. She kisses and bounces hyperly now. Juarez kisses her kisses him hyperly. He after a little while breaks the kiss. She smiles happily at him. He smiles tired and not feeling well at her. She smiles happily. He snuggles to her. She is close to him. He then leans across her and throws up in the trash can. She pets his back. He finishes and sighs. She kisses his cheek.

"I'm going to be a Juarez-cicle up in Russia...I left my scarf and sweaters at home..." He then frowns a bit.

"Maybe you can borrow some of mine?" Silvy says.

Juarez looks curiously at her. "Eh… Maybe… Nothing too girly?"

Silvy shrugs and goes to get those. He watches her from the bed. She gets very purple scarves and sweaters. He watches her and coughs. She shows him all the purple. "Are any of the sweaters a bit small on you?" He asks.

"Eh..." Silvy nods and throws him a few.

He gets one that he thinks wouldn't make him seem super gay and tries it on. Silvy watches. He looks at her. "How does it look?"

"Nice!" Silvy says. He nods some and gets up to look in the mirror. "Not too feminine?" He asks. She shakes her head. "Okay, which scarf?" He asks now. Silvy hands him a plushy one.

Juarez gets it and tries it on. "Eh… Isn't this one a bit too girly?"

"No, it looks cute!" Silvy says.

"If you say so..." He says and looks at the door. Silvy nods.

"I'm going to ask your dad some questions about my mission tomorrow..." He says.

"Don't get yourself killed..." Silvy says.

"I won't." He says. "I'm going to ask about my cover." He says and waddles out.

"Alright."

Juarez nods and knocks on Bob's bedroom door.

Bob's snoring.

Juarez quietly enters the room. "Sr. Garrison, sir?" He asks.

Bob turns over, deep asleep. Juarez waddles a little more in and coughs some. Bob snores loudly. The ex-criminal looks at him silently for a moment. "Why aren't you like the way Papá said you were in his stories?" He murmurs. Bob sleeps still. "Why aren't you understanding and able to be talked to anymore?" He whispers silently. "All these years I've wanted to be like you...But you're no better than my padres..." He sniffs a little. Bob moves some with his flipper as he wakes up. Juarez silently waddles back out with a disappointed sigh. "Juarez?" Bob yawns and sits up.

Juarez stops and silently comes back in. "Yes, sir?" He quietly says, mostly keeping his gaze at the ground again.

"Bad dream?" Bob mumbles tiredly.

Juarez looks at him confused for a moment. 'Why the snow-cone would I come to you for a bad dream? For you to shoot my head off then for bothering you!?' He thinks and shakes his head. "Eh, no?" He clears his throat some. "I wanted to ask about my alias for this mission you're sending me on that you hope I die on, sir..."

"Mhm, mission?" Bob mumbles and yawns, completely unawake.

"To Russia? That suicidal one?" He says, looking more confused.

Bob yawns some and sits up again and rubs his eyes.

Juarez watches him silently. "If you're still too asleep, I can try again later today I guess..." He coughs some.

"No… No, it's fine." Bob sits up more.

"But you're not being like yourself..." He quietly says. "I mean, you're not pointing a gun at me while you growl for me to get out of your house like normal..."

"So the bad dream was about?" Bob yawns.

Juarez just looks at him. "N-Nevermind..." He shakes his head some, though confused, and waddles back out.

"Alright." Bob yawns, snuggles into his pillow and falls asleep.

Juarez confusedly goes back to the bedroom and looks at Sivy. Silvy snorse. He waddles in and lays down next to her. She snores close to him. He gently nudges her some. She wakes up some. He looks at her, still confused. "Mhm?" She mumbles.

"Does your father have a split personality? Or is bipolar?" He asks.

"Just crazy, I think." Silvy mumbles and blinks.

"I mean… I went in there and he kind of woke up and asked me if I had had a nightmare? Eh, why would I go to him if I had a nightmare?" He says, sounding confused. "And he called me by my name. Not criminal. Not boy. Not you. He called me Juarez."

"I don't know..." Silvy yawns.

He nods a little and snuggles to her in the sweater. Silvy nods and yawns wider. He coughs a little and watches her. Silvy wonders if she can go back to sleep. "You can sleep more if you want..." He says to her. Silvy nods some and falls asleep. He watches her for a few more minutes before sitting up. He takes out his phone to text Alejandro. 'Hey.'

'I'm dead.' Alejandro replies.

'Well, I'm sick and will be going on a suicidal mission to Russia tomorrow.' Juarez texts, rolling his eyes.

'Great.' Al replies. 'Bring souvenirs.'

'No, I mean I'm being sent on that mission you've talked about that no one ever comes back from.' Juarez frowns and feels like his cousin couldn't care less.

'It's not like you can't do it.' Al texts.

'I know, but I've got like a borderline cold-flu and feel terrible.' Juarez texts.

'Then get some meds?'

'Silvy keeps trying to give me baby painkillers.' He texts with a sigh.

'Alright.' Al texts.

Juarez nods. 'Oh, and I guess mom and dad haven't told you I'm engaged now?'

'You got that chica to stay with you? :O'

'I did, even after staying with my parents a few days.' Juarez smiles.

'I'm impressed.' Al texts.

Juarez smiles and nods. 'Yeah, mom and dad kept trying to keep us from doing stuff though, and yet they nearly started doing it at the table.'

'TMI.'

Juarez chuckles some. 'Yeah, I know.'

'Then why did you text it?' Alejandro replies.

'Pay back for that time I spent the night and you and that girl were loudly getting it on.' He smirks.

'You were supposed to be sleeping.'

'I tried to, but I can be a light sleeper and you two were doing it loud enough I would have through the whole country could hear.' He texts and leans back some.

'Just shut up.' Alejandro texts.

'Fine.' He texts and then thinks some. 'Mom was mad that my suicide attempt the other day failed.' He then sighs.

'Well, I'm not, happy now, bro?' Al texts.

'I guess.' Juarez smiles a bit. 'So, how is Rachela? Still hating me fiercely as ever?'

'Yup.'

'Okay. Oh. And btw, I managed to kind of get out from the gang… Made a good number of enemies, though.'

'As if you were enemy-less before. ;)' Al texts.

'Yes, but I didn't really have one of the largest criminal gangs after me before :P.' Juarez looks at Silvy. 'So, pretty much only you and Silvy like me. Everyone else hates me.'

'How is that less than before?'

'Well, up until a few months ago I had two others...But they're dead.' He sighs with a shrug.

'Alright.' Al texts.

Juarez nods some. 'I think I'm going to try to nap. Night.'

'Night.' Alejandro replies.

Silvy snores. Juarez nods and snuggles really close to warm Silvy. She smiles. He shivers and pulls the covers over both of their heads. Silvy tries to wiggle above the covers. He hugs onto her and feels rather warm to the touch. She sleeps close. He manages to fall asleep and has a fever. She sleeps close to his hot body. He sweats on her as he shivers. She snores. He manages to kind of burrow under her in his sleep. She happily sleeps on him. He uses her as another blanket as he sweats and shivers. She just snores.
