Pulling Me Through Part Two
Ok, I just want to clarify that it's August 2012 in this chapter, Savannah is eight months and Riley is three months pregnant. I just thought I would do that because I know that I keep forgetting, so I don't know about you. Well, this chapter will take place straight after the last one. I hope you enjoy and please review!

Chapter Thirty-Six
Andy's POV
Jake stood in front of Riley with a face like thunder. He turned to Natasha and James with a hard glare, unable to say anything to them because he was just too mad to even begin to comprehend words.
"Jake, you always keep your promises" Riley muttered. She was scared to talk too, but it was only because she was scared of Jake getting angry at everyone again.
"Riley, you need to shut the fuck up right now" Jake hissed. I could understand why Jake was mad because I was when Riley first suggested adoption, but that did not give him the right to speak to people like that.
"Jake, don't talk to her like that" I argued. He whirled on me.
"Don't you even dare talk to me, at the minute" He shouted. "That kid is your son and you're prepared to give him away to some people who you don't even really know."
"You don't know what the situation is like" I argued. "You're not the one who has got to raise him. Yeah, it's great, but it's too difficult to do right now"
"You're forgetting that you get to take small doses of Savannah, but we need to see her at her worst. We can't look after another child" Riley explained, but he wasn't listening at all. He still looked so mad at us that I was beginning to think that he would never calm down.
"You're never supposed to give up your own kid" He muttered. "Who are these guys anyway?
"I'm Natasha and this is James" Natasha introduced as she stuck her hand out ready to try and be civil with Jake, but I could tell it wasn't going to work.
"Back off, Natasha" He snapped. "You're trying to take Riley's baby away from her."
"Jake, I don't know you, but you do not talk to my wife like that" James warned as he took Natasha's hand in his own in an effort to show support.
"I don't care anymore" he hissed. "You've wrecked everything"
"Jake, calm the fuck down!" Riley shouted. She didn't swear often, so when she did, you knew that it was getting serious. Jake finally stopped rambling and stared at Riley to hear what she said next. "She's not taking my baby away from me. We've all decided together that this is what we were going to do."
"Well, why didn't you bother asking me about it?" He asked.
"Jake, he's not your child" I sighed. He looked down as though our words were finally beginning to make sense to him.
"I suppose you're right" He whispered. "It still doesn't stop me from thinking that it's a stupid idea and it doesn't make me like these guys one bit, but I suppose I'll support you."
"Come here, Jake" Riley sighed, pulling him into her arms and rubbing his back. "I promise you that you won't be kept out of the loop."
"I'm guessing that you want to wait until you get to know Natasha and James more before you tell everyone else what you want to do?" Jake asked.
"Well, you're pretty good at guessing" Riley mumbled. "Please don't tell them."
"I won't tell them if you don't want me to" Jake reassured. I could see Riley breathe out deeply. She was worried that Jake would run out and tell everyone and then everybody would be in our cases about what we want to do with the baby.
"Jake, I'm really sorry that I upset you" Natasha mumbled. I could tell that she was an outgoing person and that was why she was so cheery with Jake when she met him, but now she was stunned that he acted that way with her.
"Hey, it wasn't your fault. I was just being pretty snappy and I'm sorry about what I said to you" Jake apologised. An uncomfortable silence fell around the room as we waited for someone to talk.
"So, about that whole Scout thing…" Riley started, her words trailing off when everyone started to look at her.
"Are you going to try and make it up with her?" He asked. Riley hung her head, but nodded anyway. "Good, she's sitting in the car." Riley's eyes widened as she hurried to the window to see Scout sitting in the front seat of the car with a nervous look on her face. She soon looked up and Jake beckoned for her to come in.
A few moments later, the door opened and closed and Scout walked in. She still looked just as guilty as she did two months ago and it really started making me feel bad for her. She made one mistake and now a lot of people hate her for it.
"Riley, if you don't want to talk to me I completely understand…" Scout started, but Riley cut her off with a wave of her hand.
"Look, I'm not going to lie and pretend that I think that this is going to be easy because it's not, but I'm going to try my best to forget it and move on" Riley sighed.
"Nothing would make me happier" Scout sighed loudly. She looked as though she was finally and truly relieved and it really made me feel glad that things were starting to move forward.
"I need to ask you one question" Riley stopped. Scout looked as though all of her dreams had been simply crushed into dust.
"Yeah, go ahead. I owe you that much" Scout encouraged. She still hadn't fully gotten used to hanging around Riley, but she was starting to warm up to talking to her again.
"Do you have feelings for Andy?" She asked. My mouth went dry as Riley took my hand. I really didn't have a clue how she was going to answer.
Scout's POV
My eyes went wide when she asked me that question. She knew that I had feelings for him and she wanted everything to be out in the open which I respect her for, but I'm in love with Jake too. I couldn't hurt him, but there were still parts of me that cared for Andy more than friends. Yeah, we had had bad times when we were together, but he was still my first love.
"Jake, I love you" I sighed. "Please tell me that you know that." Jake's eyes looked pretty sad, but I could tell that he knew that this was for the best and that he wasn't going to hold anything that I said against me.
"Of course I know" He whispered, taking a step closer to me and resting a hand on my hip as a way to offer support. "I love you too."
"Riley, I do still have feelings for Andy, but I'm not going to act on that. I love Jake too much and I really don't think that people really ever get over each other" I explained, but Andy didn't look like he was buying it and he looked a little pissed.
"I don't have any feelings left for you" He said. It stung when he said that, but I wasn't about to make it look as though I cared about what he thought about me, so I stayed with a face like absolute stone.
"Well, I do, but I only care about Jake really" I defended. "I'm trying to forget about what we had, but it's going to take time. You just need to trust me."
"I trust you, Scout" Riley sighed. "Don't make me regret it"
"I won't" I promised.
Riley's POV
Well, I had finally gotten onto good terms with Scout, but I was still a little nervous around her. It was going to take a lot of work for me to get used to being friends with her again and it still aggravated me knowing that she still had feelings for Andy. My jealous side felt like it was trying to take over, but I didn't want to let that happen.
"Who are those guys?" Scout asked as she looked at Natasha and James. They were standing in the corner of the room with an awkward look on their faces.
"I'm Natasha and this is James" Natasha introduced as she gestured to James. Scout still looked confused and she was ready to elaborate on her question.
"Scout, in a few months we can explain everything, but for now, can you just try and just get along with them" Andy explained. I hugged him from the side, so I could get closer to his ear and whisper something to him.
"Way to be subtle" I chuckled.
"She feels like she's walking on eggshells" Andy sighed, turning back to face me. "She wouldn't do anything to annoy you, at the minute." He pressed a quick gentle kiss to my lips and grinned.
"Well, I should probably go back home" Scout sighed. "I'm getting tired."
"I'll come back with you" Jake said as he took her hand and started to get closer to the door. I gave an awkward smile as I watched them back out of the room. A few moments later, the door slammed shut.
"I am so sorry about everything that happened" I apologised to the two. James shrugged it off and smiled.
"Hey, it's not your fault" He reassured as he took a step out of the corner and smiled again.
"Hey, we'll take you to your room" Andy said, breaking the silence as he led everyone upstairs. He walked over to where Jake's room used to be an opened the door.
"Hey, cool posters" Natasha laughed as she pointed to them and smiled.
"Thanks, if you want anything to eat or drink then help yourself and we'll leave you to get comfortable" I sighed.
"Thank you, goodnight Riley" Natasha said. "Goodnight, Andy."
"See you in the morning" Andy laughed as he took my hand and led me back to our room" he sat on the bed with what seemed like a goofy grin on his face.
"What's the matter with you?" I asked. He pulled off his hoodie to reveal his bare chest before walking over to me and resting his hands on my hips.
"This day has been amazing" He whispered, leaning down to press his lips to mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him with more force. His hands ran up and down my sides before gathering my top up at the edges.
"I love you, Andy" I mumbled. My necklace that he got me for Christmas over a year ago burnt my neck, making a constant reminder of how much he loved me.
"Ry, you are so bloody amazing" He laughed. When he complimented me like that, it made me blush, but I loved it anyways.
"Well, I do try" I sighed, grinning from ear to tear before taking his hand and leading him back to the bed. Savannah was tucked up in her crib, Natasha and James were asleep, and so there was nothing to stop us from just having some time to ourselves.
Andy wrapped his arms around me and closed his eyes before sighing into my ear "Goodnight, love"
"Goodnight, Andy" I whispered, letting the tickle of his hair on my nose soothe me into a comfortable sleep.
I apologise for taking a long time to update, but I hope you enjoy it. It's better late than never ;) Well, please review and I really hope you all like it. I kind of had some writers block!
