#93 Progress
He knew it was wrong, that they could never be together. He knew that he was far too old and that she deserved someone her own age. There were far too many reasons keeping them apart and he could never allow himself to act on his feelings. Despite all of this when he hands her her birthday present and she smiles in that radiant way and kisses him on the cheek and gives him a lingering hug he can't help but feeling as though he's made a little progress. At moments like this he allows himself to think maybe someday, if only for a second he thinks maybe someday.
