Im soooooooooo sorry. I haven't updated in months. Just couldn't get any ideas, but now I have one. Hope you like it. Im sure it's not the best, but it's better than no chapter, right?

Chapter 37

When Grimmjow and Stark came back, everyone but the girls was in the living room waiting for them. Grimmjow shoved his hands in his pockets and turned his head away from the glaring eyes. "Did you knock some sense into the idiot?" Yammy asked cracking his knuckles ready to pound him into the floor. "The kid's fine just freaked out a little. I'm sure he's ready to apologize." Stark turned to Grimmjow. "Am I right, Grimmjow?" Grimmjow just nodded without turning his head.

"Where is Ichigo?"

"In the room. Let's go." Grimmjow followed Nel into the room. He froze at the sight of Ichigo attached to an IV sitting up in bed. She was turned away from the door, but she heard the footsteps. "It's important that you don't stress her out while she's pregnant." Nel pushed him inside. He stumbled forward until his hand touched the edge of the bed. "You here to make me feel worse?"

"N-no. I-I came to apologize. I shouldn't have said what I said, especially when you have so much on your plate already." Grimmjow answered and sat cross legged on the bed. He watched Ichigo rubs her eyes. "Can…I lay next to you?" It was quiet for a few minutes. Ichigo just nodded. Grimmjow crawled next to Ichigo and laid his head in her lap. "I can't forgive you just yet, but I won't pretend like you're not here."

He laid there with no objection. He wrapped his arms around her waist and closed his eyes.

The next two months Kai ran around the house with everyone trying to catch him. Ulquiorra was just sitting on the sofa reading a book. "Kai you need to slow down." Szayel warned trying to catch the hyperactive adult. "No. I want to go outside!" She argued. "Kai, sit down." Ulquiorra commanded, which Kai immediately obeyed without a second thought. She sat on the floor with her legs on either side of her. Her lip was poked out and her eyes were watery. Szayel dropped onto the sofa and let out a sigh of relief. "I'm going to check on our little business. Have fun." Gin left the room.

"Kai, you okay?" Nel asked the sad woman, who fell forward on the floor. Kai was on the floor face down and whining. "Kai." Nel sat next to Kai and poked her side. She frowned when she heard the younger woman sob. "What's wrong?" Nel helped Kai sit up on her butt. Tears were flowing down her face. "I hate this body, especially these." Kai complains holding up her humungous boobs then letting them drop. "They're too heavy. I can't run how I want to. I'm getting faaaaat. One moment I'm happy the next Im sad. Why do I crave chocolate and pickles and ice cream?" He looked at the pink haired scientist with a sad face.

"I don't even like chocolate! I want my body back, Szayel_kun."

"You always crave candy and ice cream. Plus we've been through this, you won't get your body back until you've had your baby. "Kai whined and fell over again. "Besides I can't let you leave because you're not my mate. Ulquiorra didn't give you permission."

"She can leave." Kai squealed and bounced up and down. "As long as she stays out of trouble."

"I'll go get Ichigo." Nel skipped out of the living room to Ichigo's room.

She stops by the door and pauses when she hears yelling. "I know that dammit! You think I didn't notice you bastard?!" There was a crashed and a thump. "Ouch! Fucking hell, sorry. I didn't think it was such a sensitive subject. I take it back."

"Too late, Grimmjow!" The door was pulled open to reveal an angry Ichigo. Her gaze softened at the sight of Nel. "Hey, I wanted to know if you wanted to hang with Kai, today. Well, I'll be with her. Do you want to?" Ichigo sighed in aggravation and headed for the bathroom. "Ichigo!" Nel called out as Ichigo slammed the door shut. She turned back to the bedroom to see Grimmjow sitting at the edge of the bed rubbing his head. "Yeah, I know I fucked up."

Nel sighed and stepped inside. "At least you've matured enough to admit it." She walked over to Grimmjow and punched him in the head. He glared at her but didn't do anything else. What did you say?"

"I tried to compliment her. I said she didn't look so sickly anymore and the color's coming back. She tried to kiss me but I moved away. She got mad and threw the lamp at my head." Grimmjow pointed to the broken shards on the floor by the door. "I see. I'll talk to her, but in the mean time… stay here with Ulquiorra and Szayel. Maybe he can do something about that wound." Nel pointed to the gash on his head that was coating his sky blue hair and deep red. He removed his hand from his head and looked at it. "Shit, Ichigo still hits hard even as a woman."

"Nel? Nel?" She turned around to see Kai fully dressed in a black long sleeve dress with black leggings and black boots. Her hair was tied in a low ponytail with a purple ribbon. "I'm ready." Nel smiled. "Alright, wait outside for me." Kai nodded and left the room. "Stay here, Grimmy. I'll bring you something back." Nel leaves the room and closes the door. "Ichigo." She knocks on the bathroom door. "Yeah?" The voice was cracking and was slightly on edge. "Are you coming?"

"No thanks. Take Grimmjow with you. I just want to be left alone."

"Might be a while before we leave since he needs to be patched up."

"So be it."

Kai sat on the floor in the living room with her legs on either side moving sided to side and humming. "Kai, you should not be sitting on the floor in a dress. Sit on the sofa." Ulquiorra said not looking up from his book. She stuck her tongue out at the pale man and did not move. "Don't be childish." There was a loud knock at the door. "It Giiiiin, I have a surprise for Kai." Kai used the sofa to push himself, but a pale hand was placed on her shoulder. "Stay seated." Kai sat on the sofa and watched her mate walk to the door.

When Ulquiorra opened the door, he was greeted with something unexpected. There stood Gin, but he wasn't alone. He looked from the stranger to Kai, who picked up his book in curiosity and began reading it. He looked back into the doorway at Gin and the stranger. "Gin, is this a joke you're playing?" Gin waved him off. "Why would I play such a cruel joke on you? Where's Kai? She needs to see." Ulquiorra moved to the side letting Gin pull the stranger inside.

Kai looks up from the book and he looks from Gin and the stranger to Ulquiorra. "Ulquiorra, what's going on?"
