Chapter 33: Fujimi Nightmare-Part 2
We then noticed how hardcore our new ally was. He could be able to take lives without any regrets. He then held up a couple of fingers to his headpiece.
"This is Otaku, yeah, I just came across some high school students. Okay, will do, over and out." He said as he then turned to us and added, "Well guys, looks like we need to bring you guys to someplace safe, unless you have combat skills then could you give me a hand mopping these pissants up?"
I then replied, "We can hold our own, and we want to join this fight." He had a smirk across his face.
"Good to hear, let's move out." He said as he went ahead and took point with the rest of us following him.
We all then met up with another American Revy. This was shortly before we met up with our new partner Jase. Revy started shooting these guys like a sharpshooter. and she was armed with only two berettas. But they were called, "Sword Cutlasses." Otkau also was akimbo style but his pistols were 10mm Glock 20s. He then unholsters his pistols and joins Revy.
"You took you're time getting here." Revy said as she kept shooting and killing more psychos.
"What can I say Two Hands, I like to show up when I'm needed." Otaku said as he also started shooting, "Have we come close to finding the next target?" He added.
"Yeah, he should be here soon. But the tricky part is to finding out where the fuck he's hiding." Revy said.
Just then, another guy carrying a big ass axe was ready and looking to do some serious damage to our new friends. He flew out of nowhere, but Otaku and Revy managed to dodge the kill blow and the axe was stuck in the asphalt. Otaku started shooting, and it angered the man.
"Fuck! Now I get it, let's see what you got you braindead violent dickwipe!" Otaku said as if he's trying to piss off the being of violent proportions. The axe weilding psycho managed to get his weapon out of the asphalt and swung it at Otaku. Luckily Otaku did a backflip out of harm's way before certain death.
"What are you waiting for? Kill this fucking bastard already!" I shouted to Otaku. But it was easier said than done, he found a weak spot on the psycho. It was on his neck and glowing yellow. Otaku then jumped up and saw the yellow spot on the psycho's neck shooting it. It only stunned him, and Otaku picked up his axe and decapitated the psycho instantly killing him.
"That was fucking awesome!" Kouta said as he saw Otaku take down the psycho like a boss.
"I'm offically alpha as fuck!" Otaku said, Revy couldn't believe that her partner took a man of mondular size and killed him with his own weapon.
"Two down, three to go." Revy said, we needed to get to another safety zone before anyone turns us into mince meat.
The name of the drug that was used on these poor souls was called, "Purge Mist" and it was a synthetic drug which caused people to become more and more violent. This effect does wear off if anyone who's hopped up on this drug hasn't died, but depending on the dose taken...then they could surely overdose and die. We saw a girl shaking on the ground, as if she's having seizures of some sort.
"See this girl here, she's on the verge of overdosing. There's only one cure for this." Otaku said, he then took one of his pistol and shoots her in the head. "Simple as that."
"How long do you think the purge mist will last?" I asked.
"Depending on the doseage...and the number of people affected, I'd give it about a week." Otaku replied. "You gotta remember, this stuff was released into the water and it was made into a mist overnight."
That was total news to us, and I thought that a drug like that come in a powder like bath salts or something like that. But to be released into the water supply? That's just wrong on so many levels.
Plus, when the compound was placed into water along with the given temperature the drug forms a mist causing people to be consumed into the mist of violence and hate. There was one person who wasn't affected by the drug so we needed some information from him. He tries to make a run for it, but Otaku then arms himself with a Dragunov sniper rifle and manages to shoot the guy in the leg. The man falls to the ground, and Otaku points the rifle in his face at point blank range.
"Who do you work for?" Otaku said, "If you tell us, then I'll consider not killing you."
"You wanna know who I work for? I work for EPSILON, and he's looking into starting world war III." The man said. Otaku then had his trigger finger itching, and it needed to be scratched.
"Remeber when I said, 'I'll consider not killing you?' Well, I considered it and I'm afraid you're a dead man." He said as he squeezed the trigger of the Dragunov and it blew a huge hole in the man's head as a bullet shell flew out of the gun and hit the ground with a clang sound that bullet shells make when a gun is fired. Otaku then handed us some weapons that we could use.
"Remember, these are loaners. I hope they can come back in the condition that I had these in, okay?" He said trying to reassure us that he'll tear us a new asshole if we destory his weapons.
"I'll be sure that these guns and blades get returned to you in good condition." I said making a point that they're not mine.
Kouta was just enjoying the feel of the gun that was loaned to him, "This is a Skorpion sub machine gun. Russian made and can be used with a silencer." He said and he also was given a sniper rifle, "And this is a Dragunov SVD sniper rifle. I can't believe that I'm holding one of these." Kouta also added.
"Just don't go shooting yourself in the foot with those." Otaku said, but Kouta was trained properly on how to handle a gun so he knows his way around anything that could fire bullets.
Now it was time to find the rest of the psychos and find out more about the EPSILON guy. Hopefully, we can find out what his endgame is.
