This is the second to last chapter so I hope you all enjoy and please check out my Author's Note at the end regarding a possible sequel as well as a new story!

Untouchable

"Alright dogs. As much as I hate to admit it, this is a really great song. I don't know why I haven't thought of something like this before!" Gustavo exclaimed as he read over the lyrics that we had given him.

"Probably because you haven't had a love that's as untouchable as ours." I said as I glanced over at Kendall, returning his loving smile with one of my own. I also noticed Logan and Carlos doing the same as I looked behind Kendall, noticing the pair exchanging loving looks.

"Look, I get that you dogs are all in love, and that's great. But I would really prefer not to see it." Gustavo said, looking very uncomfortable.

"Sorry." I muttered, feeling my cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"Eh, I'm not making any promises." Kendall said with a smirk on his face, clearly enjoying seeing Gustavo so uncomfortable.

I gently nudged him with my elbow, giving him a warning look in the process. He rolled his eyes before turning his attention back to Gustavo.

"Fine. We'll keep the PDA to a minimum." He mumbled, Logan and Carlos chuckling quietly at the blonde.

"Good. Now I sent the song to Griffin and he's going to release it at midnight. Which means you'll have a few days to relax before we find out what's going to happen with the band." Gustavo said, actually sounding somewhat worried.

"Gustavo…" I said, getting ready to continue until he put his hand up to stop me.

"Go. Enjoy yourselves. You deserve it. I'll let you know when Griffin's made his decision." He said before turning around and walking into his office, signaling that the conversation was over.

It had been a couple days since we last talked to Gustavo, and even though we had been given time to relax and enjoy ourselves, none of us could really relax until we knew what the fate of the band was.

Right now I was hanging out with Kendall since Carlos and Logan had went out for a while.

We slowly made our way to the Palm Woods, the two of us making small talk as we walked. I immediately stopped once I noticed Ryder hanging out by the pool, an idea suddenly popping into my head.

"Hey, there's someone I want you to meet." I said, grabbing his wrist and dragging him over to the pool before he had a chance to say anything.

I cleared my throat once we had made our way over to Ryder, hoping to get his attention. Thankfully, he looked up once he heard me, his eyes widening in shock.

"Uh… hey." He said awkwardly as he looked between me and Kendall.

"Hey. Ryder, is Kendall. Kendall, this is Ryder." I said, sparing a glance over at Kendall. I noticed the look of shock on his face, but there was also something else there that I couldn't quite place.

I watched as they stared at each other in silence for a few seconds before Kendall suddenly broke the silence.

"Hey Ryder, it's nice to meet you." Kendall said, holding his hand out for Ryder to shake. The other blonde stared at the hand before getting up and shaking it, a small smile forming on his face.

"It's nice to meet you too Kendall." He said, giving me a look before turning his attention back to Kendall.

"So… how do you two know each other?" Kendall asked, directing his question at Ryder while subtly giving him an accusatory look.

I could tell from the nervous look on Ryder's face that he noticed the look that Kendall was giving him so I decided to intervene.

"We met each other a couple months ago. He got a record deal so he's been staying here and working on his album. He's been a great friend." I said, subtly putting emphasis on the friend part while giving Kendall a warning look.

"I see. Well maybe I can hear your material sometime." He said causally, but I could see right through it.

"Yeah right. I still haven't gotten that sneak peek he promised me." I said, giving Ryder a playful glare.

"Well if we weren't so busy then maybe we would have more time for that." He said while returning my glare, which only made me laugh.

"Well it was nice meeting you Ryder but we really have to go. See you around!" Kendall said before grabbing my arm and dragging me away like I had done to him just minutes ago.

"Slow down Kendall!" I yelped, snatching my arm away from him before he could rip my arm out of its socket. "What's your problem?" I asked angrily as he turned around to face me.

"I don't like that guy." He said bluntly, a look of anger on his face. Or at least, to anyone else that's what it would've looked like. But I could see right through it. I could see that although he was somewhat angry, he was mostly just jealous.

"Seriously? You've barely known the guy two minutes and you've already made up your mind about him? Can you even give me one legitimate reason as to why you don't like him?" I asked, inwardly smirking when he stayed silent, clearly at a loss for words. "Or is it just because you're jealous?" I prodded, knowing that I was probably pushing it. But I really wanted him to see how ridiculous he was being.

He stayed silent for a few seconds, seemingly not willing to let up. But eventually he let out a sigh, deflating a little.

"Of course I'm jealous. Do you honestly think I didn't notice how he looks almost exactly like me?!" He exclaimed, giving me an accusatory look.

"He doesn't look exactly like you." I lied, knowing that they honestly could be brothers. But I could tell from the look on Kendall's face that he wasn't buying it.

"Yeah right. Besides, I saw the two of you practically flirting when he first moved in." He muttered quietly, but I heard him loud and clear, everything suddenly starting to make sense.

"You're honestly think that I would leave you for him?" I asked incredulously, genuinely shocked at the revelation. Mostly because I never thought that I would see the day that the Kendall Knight would feel insecure or jealous.

"I don't know! I mean, you two seemed to hit it off when he first moved in, I would swear you two were a couple just from watching the two of you a few minutes ago, and again he looks almost exactly like me!" He exclaimed, looking both upset and somewhat nervous.

I let out a sigh before taking a few steps forward and putting my hands on his hips, feeling relieved when didn't pull away.

"I love you. Ryder's a great guy and all, but he's just a friend." I assured him, wanting him to know that he didn't need to feel threatened by Ryder.

"Does he have feelings for you?" He asked bluntly, catching me off guard for a second.

"Kendall-" I said, only for him to cut me off.

"Please just be honest with me James. I know that you two have flirted but that doesn't necessarily mean that he has feelings for you. I just need to know." He said with an almost pleading tone to his voice.

For a second, I thought about lying, telling him that Ryder thought of me as nothing more than a friend. But I didn't want there to be any secrets or lies in our relationship, so I knew that I had to be honest with him.

"Yes, he has feelings for me." I said, immediately noticing Kendall's eyes darken. "But I already talked to him about it. He knows how I feel about you and agreed to just be friends." I added, which seemed to ease him a little, but not much.

"I love you Kendall. You're the one that I want to spend the rest of my life with. You're the one that I want to marry one day. You, nobody else." I said before pulling him into a kiss, putting all of my emotions into it so that he could see that I meant my words.

I pulled back once the need for air became too much, smiling a little at the dazed look on his face.

"Believe me now?" I asked, watching as he nodded his head dumbly before unexpectedly pulling me into a hug.

"I'm sorry about that. Guess I'm going to have to apologize to Ryder huh?" He asked softly.

"That'd be nice. I think that you'll really like him when you hang out with him for a little while. As for the jealousy thing, it's okay. I mean, I freaked out when Jo came back so I'm in no position to judge." I said, listening as Kendall chuckled a little. "You and me against the world." I whispered, using the words that he always used to assure me that things would be okay.

As soon as the words left my mouth, he pulled away, giving me a loving smile. He looked like he was getting ready to say something when his phone suddenly started ringing.

I watched as he pulled his phone out of his pocket, his eyes widening as he checked the caller I.D.

"It's Kelly." He said as he hit answer.

"Put it on speaker." I said, to which he just nodded before doing as requested.

"Hey Kelly. I'm with James, you're on speaker." He said.

"Hey guys!" She chirped, sounding happier than usual.

"Well someone's happy." I said, listening as she laughed a little.

"Get down to the studio ASAP. I have some news that I think you all are going to like." She said vaguely before hanging up.

Kendall and I looked up at each other, both of us wearing the same expression, meaning that we were both thinking the same thing.

Done! So yes, Big Time Rush is here to stay! And if you were wondering, the song they used as they're single is Untouchable by none other than BTR! Although I'm sure most of you figured that out by the chapter title and the huge hint at the beginning

Sadly, the next chapter will be the last one and will be kinda short. It's more of an epilogue. But as I said before, I do have an idea for a sequel. I don't want to give too much away, but it will mostly focus on Kendall and James' relationship. Ryder, Logan and Carlos will all play a more important part in the sequel as well. There would also be a few more OC's in the sequel.

So what'd you all think? I personally liked writing jealous Kendall and reassuring James. But do you think he actually has a reason to worried? A little foreshadowing maybe ;)

Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the chapter as well as thoughts on the sequel since I'm not 100% sure if I should do it or not.
