Author's Note: Firstly, sorry for the delay. Life has been hectic!
There seems to be a bit of confusion regarding the stable debut I have coming up. It's not The Shield, they debuted at Survivor Series 2012, whilst we are currently just before Survivor Series 2013. The stable is a fictional one, discussed in the boardroom just after Georgie's 3 month probation during WM season. Anyway, that wont be coming up in this chapter anyway because I wanted to give you guys something now. So it will feature in the next chapter which will be extra long! Thanks for everyone supporting this. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Sipping on a cocktail, Georgie laughed with her friends as they recapped on the night's events. It was Monday Night Raw in the UK and the WWE were halfway through their European tour and they had not long finished filming. Georgie along with several others in the roster were winding down in a bar in Deansgate in Manchester, laughing at Brad Maddox as he gave a rundown on Raw.

'They cheered me! They actually cheered me when I came out.' Brad exclaimed, referring to the rowdy crowd earlier.

'They were probably drunk.' Curtis 'Fandango' Hussey sniggered, much to Brad's distain.

'Yeah I did see a lot of beer drinkers out in the crowd.' John Cena piped up, making everyone laugh.

'Shut up. They love me.' Brad sulked, taking a sip from his girlie cocktail.

'So, Orton going through the announce table in the first 15 minutes. I don't suppose you had anything to do with that Georgie?' Big E turned to the Brit with a knowing smile on his face. It was no secret that Georgie wasn't the biggest Randy Orton fan; he had acted rude and obnoxious backstage towards her on a few occasions. Whilst he never had a blow up with her like Ryback, she didn't trust him and not only felt uncomfortable in his presence but felt like he could do with being taken down a peg or two.

'It was entertaining, wasn't it?' Georgie smirked, shrugging her shoulders.

'Damn right.' Spoke Heath Slater in his southern drawl.

'Here's to a great Raw, guys!' Georgie announced, raising her glass in the air as they all followed suit.

'Yeah!' John yelled as all their glasses clinked in celebration.

'It was awesome, especially the end segment.' Brie beamed, nodding towards her fiancé who was in a tag match with CM Punk against The Shield.

'Yeah did you hear the crowd go nuts when the Wyatts and The Shield went at it?' Kofi asked around the table who all nodded in agreement.

'You were all amazing. And it's my turn to get the shots in!' Georgie announced as she pushed herself off from her stool, grabbing her purse as she did.

'I'll come to the bar with you and help.' Bryan offered, following Georgie to the bar.

She smiled at his gentlemanly gesture. 'Thanks.'

They both stood at the bar and patiently waited as the bar staff served those around them. She was grateful for his company; he really was the nicest guy on the roster.

'Did you have a good night?' She asked the bearded wrestler who smiled enthusiastically.

'Yeah. I love coming to the UK, the crowd are great.' He grinned.

'You were amazing tonight.' Georgie complimented him, making his smile wider in the process.

'Thanks, Georgie. Me and Punk have always had great chemistry in the ring. It's nice to be a tag team for a change.'

Georgie turned back at the table to see John and Nikki posing together whilst Brie took a photo. She smiled at their joyful faces and the obvious intimacy and her thoughts wondered to her own predicament. Turning back to Bryan, she spoke trying to keep her tone casual.

'Bryan. How did you and Brie get together?'

'You don't know?' He chuckled, as she shook her head in response. He let out a sigh and started to recall the story of him and Brie Bella.

'I was doing a storyline with her and Nikki. It was a load of nonsense really, just some filler fluff stuff. We clicked pretty much straight away.'

He paused, laughing at the memory looking upwards and speaking in the most earnest tone. 'I thought she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen, and way out of my league. After the storyline ended I took a chance and asked her out on a date and the rest is history.'

Georgie turned back to see Nikki in John's lap, whispering in his ear. He responded by giving her a light chuckle and an affectionate rub on her arm. She sighed as her thoughts wondered to Punk and what he was up to.

'Is it difficult dating in the workplace?' Georgie asked with curiosity.

'Not really. I mean we kept it a secret at first though.' Bryan shrugged.

'Oh Yeah?'

'Well she told Nikki but other than that we kept it on the quiet. We didn't want anyone knowing our business so we didn't tell anyone. After awhile we both got fed up of sneaking around so we came out of the open.' Bryan beamed as his eyes fell on the woman in question.

'Was it hard?' Georgie asked whilst Bryan winked at his fiancé who blushed at his gesture.

'No, it was a relief. I got kinda sick of the guys constantly drooling over my girl, without even knowing she was with me. I got a bit of stick from them in the beginning telling me how I'm punching well above my weight with her, but then I already knew that.' He laughed, flashing Brie one last smile before turning back to the bar.

She couldn't deny the pang of envy that hit her chest as she observed the way Bryan looked at his bride to be so ardently. He spoke with such reverence whenever her name was mentioned something every woman wanted.

Georgie finally managed to get the attention of the barman. 'Can I get 12 Jagerbombs, please?'

As the barman proceeded to make the drinks, Georgie felt her phone vibrate in her bag. She arched her eyebrows at the text she received, sniggering at the sender.

Punk: I'm in room 114. Don't be long. X

She couldn't help but admire the bare faced cheek of him, and smirked to herself at the text before putting her phone away. She would go to his room tonight, but there was no way she would rush to see him. Defying his demand, she decided to stay in the bar for at least awhile longer knowing that she was making him wait.

Two hours had passed since Georgie had received the text from Punk, and she finally found herself at room 114. She was buzzed but not drunk, knowing how much Punk disliked out of control drunken behaviour she stopped drinking after the Jagerbombs she bought with Bryan. She was careful enough to avoid bumping into any knowing faces, keeping up the discretion between herself and Punk. It had been a couple of weeks into their 'friends with benefits' arrangement and they had successfully managed to keep their indiscretions a secret from everyone in the company. However the more they slept together, the more insatiable they become and Georgie feared it would only be a matter of time before they got caught.

Standing in front of his door, she could hear the TV on inside. She knew he would be awake anyway, he never slept. She softly knocked on the door three times and waited. Moments later the door opened and she found herself facing a shirtless and obviously irritated Punk.

'You took your time.' He snorted, folding his arms and looking her up and down.

'I was busy. You don't expect me to drop everything for you, do you?' She asked with chirpy enthusiasm, admiring his current state of undress.

'Wouldn't dream of it, Dollface.' He smirked, stepping aside and letting her through. As soon as the door closed they were on each other, lips furiously attacking and hands clawing skin. He pulled away from her, breathless as he eyed her simple attire of skinny jeans and a tight fitting blue sheer top.

'Oh, you look beautiful by the way.'

One thing that Georgie hated was rushing. Due to her very late night with a certain wrestler, she had overslept and was running very late checking out of her own hotel room. Punk watched with great amusement as she rushed around his room, picking up discarded pieces of clothing and cursing loudly in the process. He'd already been for a run, had breakfast and showered by the time she'd surfaced from his bed. He chuckled as she desperately tried to make it time for her train that was departing in 10 minutes, but there was no chance she was going to make it.

She sighed in defeat as she reached her hotel room, after sneaking out of Punk's. She would now have to travel on the coach with the roster which gave her an hour to spare. Punk didn't use his bus overseas, so its not like she could sneak on with him to have some more private time. Plus they were travelling to London, and a four hour journey on a stuffy coach was not what she had in mind.

Plugging in her phone, she sighed as a flood of messages that came through.

Elliot: Happy Birthday, George! Hopefully see ya soon girl. X

Lydia: Happy Birthday big sis! You're proper old now. X

Henry: Happy Birthday, midget. Good luck for today, Mum is on one! X

Jenna: I know it's like 8am where you are, but HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Have a great day in London, and we'll go for drinks when you get back…. If I ever see you again. *hint hint*. Love you! X

Mum: Happy Birthday, sweetheart. Can you believe 26 years ago I was in labour with my first daughter? Are we still on for later? Reservations are booked for Nobu at 1.30 under your father's name. See you there. Oh and dress nice. X

Georgie groaned and buried her head in the pillow. Today was her 26th birthday and she was in no mood to celebrate. She had successfully managed to conceal her birthday from everybody in the company, and would prefer it if the day continued without a fuss. However her family, or her mother more like had insisting on seeing her knowing full well she was in the country and London bound for the day, so there was no escaping this family reunion. She'd planned it so that she would only need to see them for a few hours at most because she had a Raw house show to attend to in the O2 arena in Greenwich later on this evening.

Struggling with her suitcase in the hotel car park, she headed towards the travel co-ordinator and flashed him her company ID. He gave it a once over before pointing towards the nearest coach.

'That bus has a few free spaces.'

'Thanks.' She mumbled before wheeling her case towards the bus, whilst the driver took her luggage and put in in the side boot. She carefully climbed on the bus, glancing at all the faces in her direction. Fandango. Curtis Axel. Randy Orton. Cesaro. Paul Heyman. AJ Lee. Vickie Guerrero. The Wyatt's. The Shield.

'Looks like I'm on the heel bus!' Georgie announced to a chorus of claps and cheers.

'Welcome to the dark side, Georgie.' Mike winked, sitting next to Stu.

Georgie searched for a spare seat, spotting one next to the intimidating stature of Glenn Jacobs, also known as Kane. Despite his gimmick, Glenn was actually a family man, locker room leader and all round good guy. However Georgie hadn't really had the opportunity to interact with him as much as some of the other talent, especially seeing as he'd been away for a few months filming See No Evil 2.

'Is this seat taken?' Georgie asked timidly.

'Help yourself.' Glenn responded with a warm smile.

He shifted up to allow her more room as she settled down in the seat next to him. She pulled out her phone, noting a text from her favourite wrestler.

Punk: You better behave yourself on the heel bus. ;-) X

She inwardly chuckled to herself, putting her phone away and leaning back on her seat. He could wait for her response. She didn't want to come across too keen.

'Skittles?'

Georgie turned to see Glenn offering Skittles in her direction. She struggled not to laugh at the sight of the Big Red Monster offering her multicoloured sweets, but instead graciously accepted as he poured the Skittles into her hand.

'Thanks.' She chirped as he smiled at him warmly.

A wave of fatigue washed over the Brit as the night's events flashed in her mind. She shifted in her seat and let out an involuntary yawn, grabbing the attention of Glenn.

'Late night, huh?' He asked with sympathy in his tone.

'Something like that.' She smirked biting her lip at the memory of what her and Punk did. She shivered as her mind was plagued of bad thoughts of what happened hours earlier.

'Here… Take this.'

Georgie turned to see Glenn offering her his hoodie from his bag. She vaguely registered the noise of Cesaro's booming laughter as she took the hoodie from Glenn's large hands.

'I'll make sure these animals keep the noise down so you can get some sleep.' He winked, gesturing to the noise behind him.

'Thanks Glenn.' She whispered softly, smiling sweetly at the veteran wrestler as she wrapped herself up in the hoodie that dwarfed her small frame. She settled in her seat, closed her eyes and allowed her thoughts to return to those intense olive eyes that have now been burned in her memory.

Lunch was only a mild disaster, which wasn't too bad for Georgie's standards. The Wentworth's had birthday lunch in Nobu as planned however there were a few hiccups along the way. Lydia spilt soup down the front of her silk beige dress whilst their mum choked on a Sea Bass bone, causing a stir in the restaurant. Henry had to suppress a row with Mary the matriarch of the family when he mentioned that he had plans to propose to his girlfriend Marianne, whom she expressed her obvious disapproval for. Georgie suspected that their mum's opinion was mainly down to her prejudice in regard's to Marianne's family working class social status and her several tattoos. Their dad Charlie avoided all conflict, choosing to sit in silence as he enjoyed his roast beef. A man of few words, he did however make a little dig at Georgie asking if she was still involved in 'that silly wrestling business'. Her golden reply silenced him, as she told him that the silly wresting business would pay for his retirement home in Spain in which him and her mum would be residing in after the New Year. In all Georgie managed to see her family for a few hours, getting her mum off her back for at least another few months and without actually having to go home to do so. All she had to do now is continue the day without a hitch and anyone finding out that it was her birthday.

The Raw house show was plenty fun and the London crowd were rowdy and involved, much to everyone's delight. Backstage was busy and chaotic, just how Georgie liked it. She was just packing up her notes when the voice of Stephanie McMahon through the hallway.

'That's a wrap. Could all talent and personnel make their way to catering for an important announcement, please.'

The roster and personnel obediently made their way towards catering, muttering amongst themselves. She looked at Brad quizzically as he walked along side her.

'You know what this is about?'

'Beats me.' He shrugged.

They were all huddled in catering, Georgie waiting in anticipation at this announcement. She made eye contact with April from across the room, who shrugged in response. She stifled a yawn, before noting that the lights in the room had dimmed and the flicker of candle light caught the corner of her eye. She turned, perplexed at the sight of John Cena holding a birthday cake full of candles. As the room united in a chorus of 'happy birthday', Georgie looked around confused as to who they were referring to. It wasn't until John made his way towards her that she realised they were singing to her. She flushed with embarrassment as all eyes fell on her, and she awkwardly looked around the room. Without realising her eyes fell on Jon who was standing in between his Shield partners Colby and Joe, who were singing along with everyone else. Except Jon wasn't singing. He watched on wearing a crooked smile on his handsome face. She broke away from his gaze, vaguely registering the chorus of singing from an entire room around her when she found Punk chuckling with amusement not far from her.

'Make a wish, Georgie.' John told her, as she realised that they finally stopped singing. She smirked at Punk before turning her attention to the cake, blowing out the candles to the sound of cheers.

Straight after the show Georgie got whisked away by the hair and make up girls and was presented with a stunning dress by Stephanie. The dress had a dusty pink fitted bodice and had a knee length layered netted skirt that flared out from the waist, with nude heels to complete the look. Her hair fell over her shoulders in soft waves, and her make up was completed with a smoky eye effect. She blushed furiously at the chorus of wolf whistles by the talent as she was escorted through backstage and into a London black cab with April, Celeste and the Bella twins.

Twenty minutes later and several cabs following them, they had arrived at a trendy bar in Soho. From the look of it, most of the roster were there to celebrate Georgie's birthday and there was even a section of the bar cut off to the public for their party. Overwhelmed by the gesture, she decided to have the best night possible on her home turf.

To say this wasn't Punk's natural habitat was an understatement. He would have been happier watching a punk rock gig in Camden instead of here full of drunks and obnoxiously loud bass beats. Yet he came here anyway without hesitation. She almost took his breath away when he first saw her in that dress, smiling and laughing with those that greeted her.

He sat on the table with a few of the guys, chatting amongst themselves when he saw her again. She took centre stage on the dance floor, and was laughing with Nattie and Summer as she kicked off her heels to give her more freedom to move. She'd obviously already had a fair bit to drink, but still carried herself coherently. The song changed to a slower beat as he heard her announce in recognition how much she loved this song. He watched on with a smile as she mouthed along to the lyrics, her eyes closed and her arms swinging wildly in the air. He couldn't help but listen to the lyrics as he watched her sway to the beat.

You lift my heart up when the rest of me is down
You, you enchant me even when you're not around
If there are boundaries, I will try to knock them down
I'm latching on, babe, now I know what I have found

I feel we're close enough
I wanna lock in your love
I think we're close enough
Could I lock in your love, baby?

Now I got you in my space
I won't let go of you
Got you shackled in my embrace
I'm latching on to you

He had to force himself to turn away briefly as he was brought back into the current conversation. But he could no longer concentrate on anything other than the girl in the pink and black dress lighting up the dance floor.

Spotting Punk alone at the bar she approached him with confidence, admiring the look of lust in his olive eyes. His usual casual attire was given a slight make over, with smart jeans instead of ripped and a fitted black shirt instead of his trademark Ramones t-shirt. She thought he looked utterly divine.

'Why do I get the feeling it was you that spilt the beans about my birthday?'

He turned to face her fully, holding his hands up in mock ignorance.

'What makes you think it had anything to do with me?'

'I dunno… But I know I didn't tell anyone.'

He bit his lip pensively, rubbing his chin before making an admission.

'I checked out your passport when we were on the road together. Nice photo!' He winked as Georgie fumed.

'You did what?!'

'I also discovered that your middle name is Elinor-' Punk sniggered, making Georgie square up to him in ire.

'I swear for your own safety, you better keep that secret!' She snapped.

'Is that so?' He asked in amusement.

'So are you telling me that you saw snooped at my passport ages ago and remembered my birthday?' She asked with suspicion as she folded her arms.

'Yeah… That and your phone was going crazy this morning. Was hard to ignore.' He chuckled.

'Charming.' She muttered as she rolled her eyes. They remained in an uncomfortable silence as Georgie shifted on the spot whilst Punk anxiously rubbed the back of his neck before finally speaking.

'I err… I got you a little birthday surprise.'

'You did?!' She choked in shock.

'It's not what you think.' He urged, holding his hands in the air as she frowned in response.

'I honestly don't know what to think.'

'Well you're about to find out. Just stay right there, but keep your eyes closed.'

He turned her so she was facing the wall, making her turn to look at him with a perplexed expression. 'What's going on?'

'Eyes closed, Dollface.' He whispered in her ear as she begrudgingly obeyed.

'Fine.'

She stared at the maroon wall and waited in anticipation for her surprise. Feeling a bit tipsy, she stumbled on the spot. A minute passed, and she began to wonder if this surprise was ever coming, when the strangely familiar voice in her ear immediately caught her attention.

'Eeeeveerr!'

She tuned sharply to see the face of her favourite wrestler Chris Jericho beaming down at her. It had been months since she last saw him, so she jumped into his embrace squealing in delight.

'Oh my God, Chris!'

'Happy Birthday, kiddo!'

'What are you doing here?' She asked wide eyed as he sipped his drink.

'I'm on tour with Fozzy right now, got a call from Punk saying it was a certain Jerichohlic's birthday so I took a detour.' Chris winked.

'It's so good to see you!' She exclaimed.

'You too. How's things? Are you behaving yourself?' He asked dryly.

'Not exactly.' She muttered, blushing at thoughts of her and Punk.

'That's what I like to hear.' He laughed.

She didn't even register that he held a wrapped package in his hand, hand held it out for her. 'Here I got you a present.'

She smiled warmly at the gesture, as he handed her the present. It felt soft to the touch and she wondered what it was.

'You didn't have to…'

'Don't be silly. Here, open it.'

She slowly unwrapped her present, sneaking glances of his smirking face. It was apparent that what she was unravelling was clothing, which made her wonder. She finally pulled out her present in front of her, she laughed in glee.

'Wow. Is this…'

'Yep.' Chris sniggered at her reaction. In her hands was a black Y2J t-shirt, the original from when he first arrived at WWE in 1999.

'This is awesome! I'm gonna put it on now.' She shrieked, pulling the t-shirt over her head. He chuckled at the sight of her in a beautiful, evening dress with a baggy wrestling shirt pulled over the top.

'How do I look?' She asked, giving him a twirl in the process.

'Ravishing, dear.'

He pulled up a bar stool gesturing for Georgie to sit. They sat up at the stools as Chis ordered more drinks and they had a catch up.

'So how's it going? What's new?' He asked after they down their tequilas.

'I'm sleeping with Punk.' Georgie blurted unexpectedly.

'What?'

'We've been shagging for weeks.' She muttered, avoiding eye contact with the Canadian.

'WHAT?!'

'I don't know what to think. I mean one minute we're at each other's throats and the next we're tearing each other's clothes off.' She sighed, staring into space as he coughed up his tequila.

'Ugh…'

'Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining or anything. I just don't know what the hell I'm doing. This had got disaster written all over it, hasn't it?' She asked, turning to Chris who stared at her in disbelief before bursting out in a roaring laughter.

'Aaah I should have known this was going to happen!'

It was near enough 4 am and Punk was walking through the hotel corridor, a drunk Georgie in one arm and her shoes and her Y2J t-shirt in the other. They'd ended up bar hopping all round London, much to Punk's distain until Georgie finally had enough and called it a night. Being the sober one of the group, he decided personally to make sure Georgie got escorted back to her room safely.

'What are you laughing at?' He asked as she giggled uncontrollably to herself in the hallway.

'I dunno.'

'Stop that.' He grumbled as the laughter continued.

He finally reached to her door, pulling out the key card from her handbag and opening the door, allowing her to stumble inside.

'Are you coming in?' She asked shyly as he stood in the doorway, handing her the shoes and her t-shirt.

'Not tonight.' He answered warily, causing her to tug on his shirt.

'Whhhhy?'

'I think you're a little bit too drunk, Dollface.' He chuckled, raising his eyebrows at her in amusement. He finally caved in and stepped inside the hotel room, but was still determined not to break his resolve.

'But I want birthday sex.' She whined, battering her eyelashes at him.

'What you need is a glass of water and some sleep.' He smirked, watching her as she clumsily climbed on the bed.

'Water please.' She smiled sweetly at him, pointing towards the fridge. He grumbled in defeat, heading towards the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water. As he turned back around, he chuckled at the sight of Georigue struggling with the zip of her dress.

'Need a little help there?' He smirked strutting towards her, putting the water on the beside table.

'Here.' He offered as he gently pulled down the zip, softly grazing her warm skin in the process.

'Thanks.' She whispered, noting his hand lingering on the base of her spine. She looked up at him with reverence and whispered softly.

'Stay with me.'

'I dunno…' He trailed.

'I just wanna cuddle. I promise I'll behave.' She spoke with a smile, causing him to pause in his tracks before pulling his shirt over his head and unbuckling his jeans.

'Scoot over then.'

She obeyed, moving over before throwing off her dress in the process. He handed her the t-shirt Chris got her to cover her modesty before getting under the duvet wearing only his boxers. She sighed in content as her head rested on his chest and she listened to the steady beat of his strong heart.

'Phil?'

'Hm?'

'Thank you for today. I had the best birthday ever.' She whispered with sincerity. He sighed, stroking the hair from her face to giver her an soft kiss on her forehead.

'You're welcome, Georgie.'

He closed his eyes and thought about the growing depths of his feelings for her.

Coming up: The stable debut, Georgie causes a stir in the boardroom, Georgie and Jon have an awkward encounter and Punk and Georgie talk about ex partners.
