Janice easily rolled to her side, dodging every missile that came after her. Jumping to her side, she began thinking that this was getting too easy.
"Hey Skulker." She called out hopping on a tree. "What's with the easy training, where's taunting and action man?"
Before Skulker could say anything, the branch Janice was on snapped. Panicking he rushed to grabbed her, only to be hit by her hover board that zoomed to her rescue.
"Jeez Skulker, you alright?" Janice looked down from her board, Skulker flew straight into a tree ten feet away.
"Yeah, fine." He stood up glaring at the board. "Just fine."
First easy training, now forgetting that she can reflexively command her board, what's wrong with this big guy?
"Jeez Skulker you're getting soft on me." She hovered towards her trainer.
"No I'm not." He crossed his arms, "I just didn't enough sleep last night."
"Ghost sleep?" She really didn't think ghost needed sleep.
"Yes we sleep, what do you think we do at night?" Skulker huffed. "Plot?"
"Yeah, pretty much." Her phone vibrated in her pocket. Taking the phone out she looked at the text that was sent. "Looks like I gotta go. See ya Skulker."
"Where are you going?" He called out.
"A date." Janice shouted zipping away.
A date? Is she finally dating that Kwan boy, has she found someone else? Only one way to find out.
Janice landed on the main floor with a 'thud,' she unzipped her jumpsuit revealing the red short dress she was wearing. Going to her room, she soothed out her dress, put on makeup and red flats. Texting back the person, she rushed down the stairs to find the cat.
"Maddie!" She called out. "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!"
The feline jumped out from a vase, she wore a large red bow to match her female master. Purring she rubbed against her legs, being picked up she purred even louder.
"Ready for you're play date with Prince Roy?" Janice asked petting the cat.
Maddie gave a pleasurable meow as the two head out doors. Janice got the chauffeur to drive them to a near pet park, from there she meet up with William Benjamin, in a white button up and dress pants, and his Himalayan cat, wearing a black bowtie.
"Ms. Masters!" He called out, "It's so good to see you again!" smiling the man shook her hand.
"I thought I told you to call me Janice." Janice slapped his arm.
Laughing he rubbed his sore arm. "Sorry, sorry Ms-, I mean Janice. You have quiet the hit there." Rolling up his long white, he showed a forming bruise.
Covering her mouth Janice squeaked. "Sorry! I just don't know my own strength anymore."
"Nonsense!" He laughed. "I suspected you would be as fit as your cat, how else would have she won with hard training with her trainer?"
"It was only her first cat race, only because it was the first one that didn't require pure breeds." Janice absently twirled her hair.
"She's not a pure breed?" Will asked shocked.
"Nah, she's a mix of Tonkinese, Siamese, and Burmese." Janice explained. "Vlad got her from a business partner, that was trying to get rid of the mix breeds. Turns out she was from a unintentional litter."
"What a scandalous turn of events." Will teased.
The cats were purring under a tree, enjoying basking in the sun and being in each others presence.
"What really surprises me, was how Prince took a great liking to Maddie." Will walked towards the bench next to the tree, Janice sat with him. "He has never taken a great liking with another cat before."
"Same with Maddie, the only cat she wanted to see before was her reflection." She started laughing, so did Will.
"I'm amazed how we ran into each other in the contest, I was sure that you're father would never let me see you again." He threw his arms over the bench
"I'm pretty sure he doesn't know that we entered the same contest." Janice smirked.
"Oh," Will looked surprised "so is this a little secret meeting?" he wiggled his brows.
"You could say that," She stared deeply in his eyes. "this is a unintentional event."
Both busted out in laughter, Will wrapped his arm around Janice to not fall of the bench.
"You're not all like other rich American girls," He rested his head on her shoulder. "you're so outrageous and…petit."
"You calling me short?" Janice grouched.
"Oh no dear, I'm calling you small." Will laughed, then Janice jabbed his sides. "Also strong, I forgot to mention strong."
"You better remember that." Janice threaten.
"Aw, you two make a wonderful couple." An elderly women in a pink dress said walking her poodle. "How long have you two been together?"
"Uh-"
"This is our first rendezvous!" Will interrupted Janice.
"Oh really?" The woman gasped in response. "It looked like you two have known each other for a long time, while I hope your relationship blossoms!" She walked away waving.
"Will," Janice hissed. "we're not dating! If anything or cats are."
"How do you know this isn't a double date?" He kissed her cheek.
"This is not a date." She muttered blushing.
"Nor is she legal enough to date you." A man walked in front of them with a green dog. It was obvious that it was Skulker by his clothing.
"And who, may I ask, are you?" Will stood up, he stood almost eye level with him.
"The names Skulker, and that's all you need to know." He sneered.
"Why you-"
"Skulker, what are you doing here?" Janice jumped up, was he following her?
"Vlad told me to keep an eye on you Pumpkin." Skulker crossed his arms, Cujo barked at the cats, they hissed in response.
"You snitched." Janice was grabbed by the arm.
"You're coming home with me." Skulker dragged her away from Will.
"Unhand her!" Will shouted.
"Make me!" Skulker barked back.
Now the animals were worked up.
Will tried to punch him, only to have a huge hand wrapped around his throat. Crawling at the hand, he ripped off the watch Skulker was wearing. Going wide eye, he saw Skulker's true form, his ghost form.
"Let them go Skulker!" A voice boomed from behind. "What, are you going after humans now?" Danny Phantom punch the mechanical spirit, causing him to let the two go.
Will took deep breathes of air, regaining himself he grabbed Janice's arm. "Let's go!" He tried to pull them to a safer destination, but Janice was staring at the two fighting specters looking…mournful? Was this Skulker person an important friend, in which she found recently to be a ghost? Not wanting to hang around any longer, Will picked Janice up bridal style.
Squeaking, Janice demanded to be put down. Will only ran with the cats behind them, running away from the huge ghost dog. They ran towards Will's vehicle, and rode outside the skits of Amity Park.
