Chapter 37
A/N: This is an AU story for the vampire diaries. I do not own the vampire dairies.
Hey guys so here is Part 2 of the Klaroline drabble of Caroline being an angel. I have been getting inspiration from mythology class. God it's my favorite class. Hmm what do you guys think of the originals in ancient Egypt along with Caroline, Elena, and Bonnie of course. Oh! And Matt and Stefan too. Anyway here is part 2.
Light and Dark part 2
Klaus was still curious who that girl was. She didn't even seem afraid of him whats so ever. He had been thinking about her for two days. He needed to stop, her had a city to run. He needed to focus.
Caroline smirked watching him, struggling with his own thoughts. Not that she knew what he was thinking. Only an Arch angel was probably powerful enough to read a mortal's thoughts. Well in this case Klaus wasn't a mortal but he was not a great celestial being of Heaven that was for sure. She had followed him home that night, and had been in and out. She would always wish to take a look around and would leave him for a while to come back and watch him once again. He couldn't see her right now because she was in her celestial form right now. He had just woken up and had gone into the bathroom. While he was busy getting ready for the day she took a chance to look around his room. She hadn't really gotten the chance. Because he was in an out all day as well. Usually never in one place for very long. Unless you count the bar where he would find his interest in having a few drinks that was for sure. She glanced through a few of his books that were lying around. She could see a few different selections. Some of them were quite old, also in different languages. She knew that he was a thousand years old, and given this time she was sure that he might know how to speak every language. Angels could speak any language known to man, as well as their own. Enochian was the ancient language of the angels. Or in other words the angelic language. Only angels could read and speak it fluently. She took notice of some papers that were hiding under the books. She used her mind to move the books to the side to reveal a few different drawings. Many of places, landscapes and things. She took notice to the portrait of him with a group of people. She wondered who they were to him. She noticed him finally. There was the man that she had seen abuse the boy that she had seen that day in the woods. And the cries and screams made her wish that she had done something. But at the time she couldn't, Inias had told her that they must go. And she had listened. She never had never felt more guilt or hateful of herself then that moment. She could still hear his cries and the man's yelling. She knew then that this was a portrait of his family. His once whole family. She heard the door opened and turned only for her to feel a mix of feelings come over her. She stared at him as he stood in a towel. Her eyes glanced to his chest. She felt warmth in her cheeks for some reason. She shook her head. Ok, so she had never seen a man naked before. Well he was wearing a towel, thank the lord for that. He moved to his closet to pick out some clothes. Caroline had to force herself to turn away. She didn't know what was wrong with her as she felt heat spread through her body. And a throbbing that went through her. What was wrong with her? She never felt these sort of feelings before. It irritated her that she could never understand some of these human side effects. It could have been a glitch in the human body. Not that she was human, but her form took it as human. She turned back relieved that he had his pants on but was still choosing between two shirts. One was a black the other a grey. The grey one would make him look more attractive…she thought. She shook her head. As if he heard her thoughts he chose the grey one. Putting on his jacket he turned to leave. She followed right behind him. Klaus had plans, he was to meet up with Elijah and the wolves. On his way he couldn't help but feel as if someone was watching him. Or that he knew that someone was watching him, but he also knew no one was there. When he finally reached Elijah and the wolves, Elijah was the first to speak.
"Brother," he said.
"Elijah," Klaus nodded. He turned to the werewolves. They and their pack had been causing problems in the city. So they decided to come up with a deal. The two alpha's turned to Klaus and nodded. They began to speak the terms of the deal. "You may stay in New Orleans, as long as you follow the rules and don't cause any fights." The two alpha agreed to the terms and nodded. "If you don't then I will rip your bloody hearts out of your chests." Caroline rolled her eyes. Where was that boy she had remembered. She couldn't believe how things had changed after a thousand years. She was curious of Elijah though, she wondered if he was the other boy from a thousand years ago. As the wolves agreed with the terms of the deal Klaus moved to leave. For the remainder of the day, Klaus spent his time drawing. She smiled watching him paint the landscape. Despite that no one could see her, her gold hair blew in the wind. And it felt somewhat nice. She had never really been to Earth since that day. But now here she was. She glanced to the painting again as he dipped his brush in the light green to paint the grass. He was very talented. She wondered when he had began drawing. She noticed the man with dark skin from two nights ago appeared with a blonde woman.
"Klaus," He said.
"Marcel," He said. "Camille," The blonde rolled her eyes at him and scoffed.
"I talked to Davina, she thinks that she senses something. She thinks that witches are doing magic here. Something to do with the dead." Referring to the witches that were starting a war in New Orleans once again. Klaus looked at him.
"How do you know it's not Davina?" Klaus asked. Marcel glared at him.
"Davina maybe a powerful witch, but she doesn't know how to do anything like that. And I trust her." Klaus sighed. "You think it could be Celeste?" Marcel asked. Klaus was about to speak when some unnatural force shoved them back. Caroline gasped as they shot back into a wall. Klaus groaned. There stood a warlock and not just any warlock Amos, one of the witches Klaus had killed back in 1885. Amos smirked and raised his hand. Klaus flashed to his feet as Marcel was trying to help Camille up. He was about to snap his neck when Amos cocked his head and pain exploded in Klaus head. He growled and groaned in pain. He fell to his knees putting his hands on his head as if that would stop the pain. Caroline didn't know what possessed her but she was suddenly visible and grasped the witch's arm and threw them against a tree. Knocking the tree itself over from the force of her strength. She was surprised that he still didn't go flying from her angel strength. Klaus felt the pain stop and looked up to find the girl that had stood up to him standing there. His eyebrows raised as Amos raised his hand to her. But nothing happened. She took a step to him and he suddenly looked frightened until she placed her hand on his forehead. She let her power surge through her. Amos screamed as his soul burned and exploded from within him. His eyes began to glow before bursting into flames all together. She let him go, as he dropped to the ground his eyes burned out of his head. Dead. Klaus stared at him for a moment before looking at her in shock. She swallowed hard when she realized what she had just done. She backed away slowly; he stood up looking at her. He opened his mouth to say something but she ran, she ran into an alley before using her power to send her back to being in celestial form. Klaus had followed her flashing into the clearing every attention of curiosity. But she was gone. What had just happened? He thought.
Caroline knew that she shouldn't have revealed herself like that. It wasn't right even if they were supernatural. She hadn't known what came over her. But she had to save him. She looked up to the night sky. She could feel the blade burning in her boot. She missed Inias, she missed her home. She missed Heaven. But she could never go back. She was an outcast now, they all thought that it was her who had done it. Caroline had never felt so alone and powerless before. She longed to be with her brothers and sisters or her garrison. She only prayed that Inias was alright.
Klaus was more interested in finding out more about this girl. Who was she? What was she? He was going to find out one way or another.
Note: So there is part 2. Not sure if there should be a part 3 but next is Kennett. I got the name Inias from Supernatural. He was an angel. Thought I would just point that out. Should update soon. So be prepared. Review thanks.
