Trials Of A Saiyan

A/N: these fights won't be too long, reason is because, c'mon guys. It wouldn't even take a nerdy Gohan 10 episodes to fend off against dead passed enemies.

Chapter 34: The Cocoon

(Babidi)

All the battles raged on, though in some cases, one was easier than the other. None the less, the wizard was getting what he wanted.

"Yes!" He cheered! "In a matter of minutes he'll be back!"

The lever on the magic ball of Buu moved closer towards its target. The same could be said for Babidi who was incredibly happy with the incoming results. He chuckled, laughed, wickedly as his eyes were bestowed upon this.

"In time..." He whispered through his cynical grin. He rubbed his hands together, "once Buu is here, who can stop me?" He chuckled.

Only time, and hard battles could answer that question.

...

(Saiyans)

"Prepare to be squashed you little bug!" Cooler yelled.

He rose his arm in order to strike Kinoko, but the Saiyan girl appeared in front of him grabbing his arm.

"Little bug? I'm not six anymore," Anger settled in for her and she grasped his arm with both of her hands. "I'M EIGHTEEN!" She yelled and slammed him into the ground much to his shock.

Her hair began to flash golden, even though each of these good Saiyans knew they didn't need it. Slowly, she walked towards him.

After killing Bojack and his goons, Mirai's only focus was Raditz and Nappa. The two Saiyans landed on either side of him, before beginning to attack. Mirai rolled his eyes as he fended off against these two like they were simply insects. He scowled a bit.

"I can't believe my father let you survive for so long." He mumbled. He elbowed Raditz in the face, kneed Nappa in the gut, before creating a blasts which would take out the both of them.

Goku's playful nature couldn't help but to make him laugh as he toyed with Frieza and Cell. The two enemies growled as they rushed at him attempting to fight him off. He smirked, grabbing Frieza by his tail, and Cell by his leg before slamming the two of them together.

"Well maybe I'll see you soon!" Goku yelled before easily destroying them with a simple blast.

Cooler jumped back up to his feet at the sound of footsteps. He gasped when he say the "blinded monkey" kill his father with a simple kick. She turned her head to the side and smirked at him before blowing up King Cold completely.

"Doesn't this look familiar?" She questioned. "Killing a defenseless little girls parents."

Cooler growled, "how dare you! You worthless monkey!" He rushed at her and connected his fist to her face which she didn't even flinch at. He jumped back, and powered up an energy wave shooting it straight at her. Once the smoke cleared, their was no Saiyan girl in sight. He chuckled to himself in his victory.

"There's one thing good you taught me Lord Cooler." She spoke.

Cooler gasped and turned around upon hearing her voice. She narrowed her eyes and put her hands at her side, already creating a blast.

"Never take your eyes off your opponent."

With that said, she let the energy wave go, which completely took over his body. All she heard was the three words 'I own you!' Before his corpse disappeared along with each other villain. -She let out a breath and landed on the ground in her base form beside Goku and Trunks.

"Well, that was fun." Kinoko stated.

Trunks and Goku fell back into their base forms as they looked around for the Supreme Kai.

"Hey Supreme Kai?" Once he took notice of the shocked character he chuckled, "you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Kinoko looked at Goku. "Well considering all the walking dead "warriors" I'd say we've seen ghosts."

The Supreme Kai blinked. "it's as if you Saiyans live for battle."

Mirai began to walk passed him. "Does the strongest warrior race in the universe ring a bell?"

Goku smiled and Kinoko crossed her arms as they walked behind Mirai.

(Gohan)

Still feeling shocked at the power this half-breed had, Vegeta growled and launched himself back up. He wasted no time getting a few blows which at first were easy to dodge. That was until Vegeta used his head to head-but Gohan. The half-Saiyan gasped and moved back which gave Vegeta the simple chance to begin to use Gohan's gut as a punching bag. With one final big hit, he knocked the half Saiyan into a mountain, indenting him in it.

Gohan smirked at him. "Well finally you're trying."

Vegeta growled angrily and charged forwards. Gohan powered up, blowing up the mountain behind him and began yet another spar with Vegeta. The two warriors sent blows to each others faces, knees towards their guts, and elbows to well, anywhere they could hit. As the battle became slightly more even, Vegeta gained the upper hand when he managed to grasp Gohan by his shoulders, and kneed him repeatedly. He knocked him down once more causing much more damage to the teenaged Saiyan. He grasped onto the edge of a mountain as he began to think to himself.

"I shouldn't be surprised. I know how much stronger I've gotten but not how much Vegeta has."

He gasped when Vegeta pulled him back up with one hand smirking at him.

"Looks like wasting your time in school didn't help you learn what you needed too."

He swung Gohan back before throwing him forwards. Gohan's back hit yet another mountain and before he could move, Vegeta sent five energy rings towards him. Two lock around his wrist, another two locked around his ankles and the last one locked around his neck. The half Saiyan tried to move forwards, but much to his dismay the rings kept him in place. He shifted his teal eyes up when Vegeta stepped in front of him. Vegeta smirked as Gohan glared at him.

"What's the matter? Are you thinking about those little brats and that stubborn girl you love so much? Or is it that you aren't winning as easily as you thought?"

Gohan growled, "I never said it was going to be easy and...don't speak about my family like that..." He managed to mutter out.

The ring cuffed around his neck was making it hard for him to speak. Or breath.

"What?!" Vegeta began. He began to slap Gohan across his face. "Do you get angry when I speak about your low-leveled family?!" He sent blows to his gut and much more to his face as he continued. "I am a warrior elite! In my fingertips I held the power to destroy entire worlds! I have in me the royal blood of a Saiyan, and on my shoulders rests the glory of an extinct warrior race. I am a Prince! AND YOU! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A WASTE OF SAIYAN BLOOD! The knockoff of your clown of a father! He deprived me of my pride since the moment we first battled, then you, as an eleven year old brat withstood Cell and a laid their like a useless doll!" He let out a scream of rage as he continued to use the half-breed as a punching bag. The strength I have worked my whole life for was surpassed by a mere child! You succeeded where I, the Prince of all Saiyans, the Prince of you, had failed. Once I cut you down! I will once again make my name feared by many! By everyone!" A smirk crossed Vegeta's features as he took one step away from Gohan. The half-breed hung his head down trying to catch his breath. "And who knows, I may start with your family."

Gohan's head shot up as he remembered once again who he was fighting for. He grit his teeth together and it was as if there was fire and rage mixed in his eyes.

"... I won't let you..." As he powered up, his hair became spiker, and his muscles bulkier, "... You won't hurt them!" He declared in a scream as he broke away from the energy rings.

This sudden moved shocked Vegeta. Gohan charged forwards and sent a hook to his face, followed by another, and another.

...

(Saiyans)

"So what now?" Mirai began, "Is he gonna make us fight giant robots or something?"

Kinoko growled and sat on the ground. "I'm so tired of being here. This Majin Buu gut better be worth the long wait."

The Supreme Kai glared at her. "No! Our ultimate goal is to not let Majin Buu free! If he's set free the earth, the entire galaxy, will parish!"

Kinoko smirked. "Well, If you haven't noticed, there's like seven of us, and one of him."

Goku looked around, "there's only four of us Kinoko."

She rolled her eyes, "don't forget about Gohan, Hiru and Piccolo."

Mirai growled. "My father will come around too." He narrowed his eyes at the ground. "I know he will."

The Supreme Kai blinked, "Kinoko, the degree you're underestimating him is unbelievable!"

She rolled her eyes again, "didn't you say something similar about Pui Pui, Yakon, and Dabura?!"

"Please you don't understand! Majin Buu would have wiped out your entire race with a snap of Bibidi's fingers." The Supreme Kai continued.

"Frieza did that, and now he's dead." She scoffed.

'Its like speaking to a wall with these Saiyans!' He thought.

His thoughts were disrupted by a new glowing light. The supreme Kai looked over and couldn't help but to gasp in fear.

"This is it... This is what we came here to find." He mumbled.

Goku, Kinoko, and Mirai all looked in the direction he did.

"Majin Buu is inside that thing?" Goku asked.

"Yes, we must act quickly, I doubt Babidi will leave it unguarded for long."

"What do we do then?" Mirai asked.

"If we combine our powers together, I'm certain we can destroy it."

All of a sudden a familiar new voice mixed in. "Welcome!"

The Saiyans all growled and put their fists to their sides defensively.

The greeting was followed by an insincere chuckle. "I'm glad you could join us, especially you Supreme Kai."

"We've come to stop you, Babidi." The Supreme Kai asserted.

Babidi's eyes narrowed yet there was still a smile on his face. "Like you did my father?"

"I will not let you resurrect Majin Buu."

The wizard chuckled, "I'm afraid it's a little too late."

He started off with a small chuckle, before it became a loud laugh. While he was celebrating he preformed his spell, moving everyone, including him and the magic ball of Buu back to where they first began.

Right outside the ship in broad daylight.

"Did he say a little to late?" Kinoko repeated.

Goku glanced up at the cocoon a bit shocked, "that energy. I've never felt anything like it."

"Me either," Mirai agreed.

The Supreme Kai's eyes widened. "We-we must retreat, quickly!"

Many birds began to flap around surrounding the area. Clouds of smoke came out of the ball as it glowed. Not even Babidi himself could believe his eyes.

"He's coming out! It's really real! He's going to come out, and when he does EVERYBODY'S GOING TO RUN AROUND AND SUFFER TILL THEY DIE. My father is young to be avenged by his own creation and I'm the one who made it all possible!"

Mirai rolled his eyes, "some honor..." He scoffed.

"Too late! We must retreat and act quickly. We have no choice! Run when I signal!" The Supreme Kai shouted.

Kinoko growled, "I'm not just gonna run!"

Goku nodded, "yeah, there's got to be a way we could stop him from hatching before he gets out and begins to hurt people!"

Mirai nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you of all people should know a way! You are the Supreme Kai for goodness sakes!"

The supreme Kai looked to Mirai with his eyes wide, "Yes and unlike you I know what Buu is capable of! It's is more than all of your present states can handle!"

Mirai growled, "that's fine! Don't you know I have a stronger state!"

He crouched down and began to power up.

"Mirai please! This is a time from strategy, not flying heroics! We must wait for a better opportunity!"

The now Super Saiyan 2 transformed Mirai grunted. "There won't be any more opportunities!" He let out a loud battle cry as a golden aura surrounding him.

Babidi looked back at Mirai curiously. "Now what do you suppose got into that one?"

He brought his arms back creating an energy wave. "I don't care! People who I care about might get hurt! And I won't take that chance!"

"Mirai! We need you alive!"

Kinoko backed up near Goku when Mirai let the energy wave go in attempts to destroy the ball before the monster inside it had the chance to destroy them. Babidi screamed and jumped out of the way before the blasts was able to hit him. Kinoko and Goku crossed their arms over their face because of the blinding light. As the blast kept going, the light became brighter and brighter. Mirai let out a battle cry as he made his blasts even stronger. Once he completed it, a cloud of smoke surrounded the place the ball once stood. Kinoko and Goku both uncovered their eyes and looked up when they took notice of the ball in the sky.

"C'mon Kinoko! Mirai is right! We have to try!"

She nodded and they both cupped their hands together behind them.

"Let's do this!" Goku shouted.

They both prepared a Kamehameha, and let it go making it hit the ball. They kept the blasts going for a bit, grunting and growling as they powered up and made it stronger. Once they stopped it, they gasped realizing the magic ball didn't even have a crack. What they did see though, was a pink glowing light from inside it. The ball began to roll around in a small circle until a pale pink smoke began to escape it. The Saiyans, and the Kai watched in shock when the ball split open slowly, and much more smoke came out of it.

Babidi couldn't help but laugh loudly, "I did it! He's... Really... Alive..."

Once the cocoon opened completely, and all the smoke cleared up, it appeared that nothing had been inside it.

"...it's empty... Hm, what? Where is he?"

Nothing was seen, only an empty shell split evenly down the middle. Babidi, who was hiding behind a giant rock, poked his head up and glanced around.

"Buu? Come out and destroy them."

The Supreme Kai began to chuckle. He looked to where Mirai stood. Then to Kinoko and Goku. The three Saiyans were tensed up.

"Do you all realize what this means? All we need to do now is trap Babidi." He balled up his fist smiling in victory. "Soon everything will restore to normal."

"No." Goku interrupted. "That energy I sensed earlier... Something came out of that ball Supreme Kai."

Kinoko's tail tensed before it wrapped around her waist. "Now that I think about it, I can sense something..." She felt her eyes widened and she looked up far to the sky where a large pink cloud was forming.

Mirai, The Kai and Goku all looked up and gasped. Babidi climbed up above the rock and stared at them confusedly.

"What are they looking at?"

He looked up in the direction they were and his confused scowl, became a cheerful grin. The cloud of smoke began to clear up a bit, but not enough to see what was forming.

"What is it?" The supreme Kai asked.

"I'm getting a terrible feeling." Goku mumbled.

The pink cloud began to come together before it spread out again.

"Something's forming!" Kinoko noted.

Everyone gasped when all of a sudden, the smoke became solid.

"BUU!" A new voice cried out.

Woot! Woot! It all starts & will get MUCH MORE BETTER AND INTERESTING FROM here!

Any predictions on what will happen?
