Hey!

So...I don't know if you guys noticed or not, but I started Like a Knife, which I won't update until I get more reviews on it.

Enjoy!

Fiona smiled softly, falling into step with Josh. "Hey,"

Josh took a deep breath. "Fiona, I can't talk to any friends for another week."

"I know," she nodded. "I just wanted to know how you were doing."

"No…you want to know why I blew off Louisa's play." He corrected her, looking straight ahead at the sidewalk.

"Well, that would be a plus." She laughed nervously, pushing a strand of her brown hair behind her ear.

"I'm not going to tell you," he let out a humorless chuckle, shrugging his thin shoulders.

"Will you talk to her?"

"When I talk to her." he sighed.

"Alright, good, because she needs it." she smiled, walking away and Josh rolled his blue eyes in annoyance.

Michael shook his head, taking his gaze away from the ceiling and standing up. He packed up his books and swung his bag over his shoulder. He left the library, walking down the hallways of the school to the front doors, and turning onto the street that led to the other end of his neighborhood.

When he made it to his destination, he knocked on the front door, slipping his hands into his pockets.

The door opened.

"So I guess we're not tutoring today?"

Emily blinked up at him. "What are you doing here?"

"I would've called but I don't have your number." He shrugged.

Sighing, she brushed her long hair over her shoulder. "Sorry. We can do tutoring here, if you want?"

He nodded. "Alright," and he followed her into the house, and down a hallway to her bedroom.

"Are you hungry? Thirsty?" she asked.

"Soda?"

"Be right back," she said and left him to turn a corner into the kitchen.

Michael shrugged off his jacket and opened her bedroom door, dropping his jacket onto the foot of the bed. He looked up at the walls and a grin pulled at his lips, observing the posters one her walls; with the occasional band posters, there were superheroes: The Avengers, The Justice League, and obviously the most loved, the Hulk. He walked over to her window and picked up one of the boxes sitting there.

"Be careful with that," she warned unexpectedly, coming into the room. "It's a collectable. They're gonna be super valuable one day."

"These are awesome," he commented, putting the box back.

"Thanks," she murmured, holding his soda out for him.

"Thank you," he smiled, taking it from her and popping it open, taking a quick sip. "My dad's going to kill me."

"What?" she looked up at him in shock. "Why?"

"He doesn't like it when I drink soda. I'm only allowed to drink it on Sundays. He's a freak like that." he chuckled. He frowned when he saw the look on her face. "Hey, are you okay?"

She swallowed. "He gets that upset?"

Michael stared at her, confused, for a moment before he realized what she meant. "Oh," he ran a hand through his hair. "No, my dad doesn't hit me. He just won't let me eat junk on our cheat day."

"Oh, good," she nodded and pulled her legs up onto the bed, setting her textbook on her lap. "Are you ready to start?"

"Yep,"

Danni slowed her pace to a stop on the sidewalk and arched an eyebrow in Leo's direction. The dark-skinned boy stood hiding behind a tree, peeking around the trunk.

"Dude?" she tapped him on the shoulder.

Leo cried out and spun around, pressing his back against the trunk. "Don't sneak up on me, Danni!"

She smirked. "Sorry, but uh, what are you doing?" She looked over her friend's shoulder and spotted Fiona sitting on a park bench, laughing and eating ice cream with a tall, tan-skinned boy their age.

"She's talking to that guy."

"Yeah, so…she talks to Josh all the time."

Leo whined turning back to the bench. "But that's Josh. We all know he's not into her. This guy—this guy could be into her. I mean, look at him; he totally knows that she thinks he's cute."

Danni rolled her jade eyes. "Jacob Reed is a new student at school. She's just showing him around, dude. Calm down."

"But…but…"

"You're so jealous."

"I am!" he agreed. "I am insanely jealous. She's laughing with a guy that's taller and composed and has a deeper voice and-and—he bought her ice cream! I should have bought her ice cream yesterday like I wanted to." He knocked his forehead against the tree and then pulled back, rubbing his forehead. "Ow."

Danni laughed and laid a hand on his shoulder sympathetically. "Dude, it'll be okay. I'll see you later."

"Amber wants to plan the wedding." Mara stated with a small smile.

"No." Jerome said immediately. "No no no no no no and no!"

"I know," she laughed.

"She'll make it all frilly and pink—no."

"Alright, so no frills and no pink—what about lacey napkins?"

"You want lacey napkins?" he asked cautiously.

"No," she shook her head.

Breathing out deeply, Jerome dragged his hands over his face. "Who knew this would be so frustrating?"

"What did you do for your wedding with Kathrin?"

"Her mother planned everything. I was just required to show up. She forced us to get married after all."

"Right," Mara nodded and poked his cheek with the eraser on her pencil. "What do you want to do for our wedding?"

"It has to be as soon as possible."

"But of course," she giggled.

"And…Alfie will be my best man. And…Alice and Louisa want to be brides maids. And Gracie wants to be the flower girl. Matty wants to be the ring bearer."

"You know, there was only one two things that you asked for yourself and the rest was all for your kids?"

"Yeah, I do that sometimes. After a while, putting someone else's needs before your own becomes a habit." He mumbled.

Mara laughed and kissed his cheek, getting up to get them some tea. "Shut up."

Review?

"You push me back, I push you back, harder, harder. You scream at me, I scream at you, louder, louder. I'm dangerous, so I'm warning you, but you're not afraid of me and I can't convince you. And I don't have to, I think you know me." -You Don't Know Me, Elizabeth Gillies (Victorious Cast)
