"…..I wish this was Harold" Axton said as we stared at Claptrap "m-maybe he's a tree nearby…. there aren't any trees near here" I said as we readied our weapons, "hey Marik how long do you think it'll take to rescue him" Gaige asked me "hmm I give him ten seconds".

"AAAHHH HELP ME" "well shit he broke the record" we fired at the savages and I ran forward and threw a black hole at them sucking in a few, I looked over as a witch doctor started healing the savages "oh that's cheap" I threw a grenade blowing him up and they charged at me. "Cerberus sic em" he jumped over me and landed before slicing one in half and impaled the other and lifted him up then slammed him on the ground, I summoned my scythe and sliced one's axe in half as he swung at Cerberus who in return blew his head off with a shotgun.

I reloaded and looked over as we finished clearing out the savages "well that was over fast" "wasn't a lot here it'd seem" Maya said and we walked over to Claptrap, "minions you've come t-" "why are you here" Axton asked "I'm on vacation" "from what" "well after I helped out so much with Jack and got depressed over those stairs I thought I worked up my vacation days" "…..uh-huh".

I sat down on his sorry excuse for a throne and sighed "why they chose you I will never know", I rubbed my face for a moment before looking up as a man's voice came on the comms. "Hey who are those pe-" "NO SHUT UP" "w-what" "WE'RE DOING A HUNTING TRIP, WE ARE NOT GOING TO DO SOME DUMB MISSION" "b-but I had a plan and everything" "AND WE HAVE PLANS SO SHADDUP" "….please" "no" "pretty please" "how old are we" "…I got loot" "…." I looked at Axton and he shrugged his shoulders "it seems this fellow won't leave us alone until we do whatever he has planned" Hammerlock added and I sighed "fine what do you want" "YES YES oh I promise you won't regret this" "ok uh" I looked at his name "Nakayama just mark our radar" "alright thanks so much" he marked it and I slouched down.

"I never did like that guy" I looked over to Angel "you know him" "well I know of his complete obsession with Jack, he wanted to build him a robot so he'd be immortal but no matter how many times Jack ignored him or shot his plans down he kept on following him" "I hate him already and now he wants us to go do stuff for him…. uuughh don't wanna do this" "come on Marik it could be fun" Seras said and I slouched further to the point where I was close to falling off the seat, "…..ok let's get this over with" I got up and pulled out my pistol and we started walking to the waypoint. "You know I knew Handsome Jack, I mean he knew I was his most loyal fan" "oh my god he's a fanboy" Gaige groaned "I MEANT FOLLOWER" "nope fanboy" "s-shut up" "hey did you cry when my boyfriend shot him in the head" "…you know there's no need to bring back that memory" "HAH YOU DID" "SHUT UP" "MAKE ME OH WAIT THAT'S RIGHT YOU CANT" I laughed and grinned "I killed Jack and now I'm gonna hunt you down" "….." "Hey Cerberus what're those things" he scanned them "….Borok, native to this region only, they do not venture outside of it, extremely territorial, their critical spot is their throat, use caution when engaging in combat", I rubbed his head and smiled "thanks for the heads up" I pulled out my sniper rifle and aimed at one's throat and waited for the right moment before firing and it screeched before turning to me and charged.

"Oh god it looks like puss" Maya said as we moved out of the way as it tried to trample on us, "hmm" I threw a black hole underneath it and it got sucked in before being pulled out and it was much larger "would this be like a badass variant of it" I asked Axton "yeah it would… let's call your things shadow variants" "badass shadow Borok… eh let's not" "meh I thought it sounded good" "let's not I mean just throwing the word shadow in front of everything seems a little la- oh wait we do that with shock, fire, slag and corrosive… meh whatevs".

We fired at the boroks as they charged and I got knocked back as once slammed into me "OW YOU FREAKIN" I pulled out my shotgun and blew its throat to bits and it fell over, "all that puss" "badass sighted" I looked over as Zer0 called one out and saw a fire one running over. "Woah that's kinda cool" we fired at it and ran around avoiding the growing pack's attacks, "crap there's a lot of these things" Seras said and I nodded before throwing a black hole sucking a few in.

All POV

A probe flies over the grounds as they fight observing them before zooming in on Marik "hmm he's corrupting them to his side" "he must be making his own vault guardians" "all the more reason to capture him before he has an army to protect him", she sat back smiling "oh I can't wait to break him in, he's such an innocent smile yet he's accustomed to murder hmm hmm oh this will be perfect" "you want first crack" "no we'll leave that to Bols, you know how impatient he can be".

He adjusted his mask and checked his weapons for the third time "good everything is in order" he heard a knock and turns before smiling as he sees them, "hey honey how are you" she walks in carrying their daughter and he hugs both of them "I'm wonderful love" "Daddy you forgot your lunch" she held up the colorful box to her dad "oh thank you" he took it and rubbed her head "what I'd do without you two is a mystery".

He sat down and set her on his knee "are you going to be leaving soon Daddy" "yes I am, I have to bring Seras back along with a friend of hers" "well you be safe for us honey, once you get back I'll have a nice hot meal waiting for you and we'll spend some time together" she smiled and raised his mask up and kissed him and put it back down "so you go out there and do your best" "alright honey I will".

Marik's POV

I reloaded and shot the fire borok in the throat again and fire came out as it fell over and died so I quickly moved, "I really hate that" "join the club amigo" Sal said and I pulled at my collar "why is it so hot up here" "borok prefer warm environments to settle and breed" "well let's just hurry up and get out of here I'm going to die" "Marik it's not that bad" Gaige said "no it is" Seras disagreed as she pulled her jacket off "see she gets it".

We moved on and I stopped and looked down at the savages "these guys are everywhere… hey Cerberus fire a missile volley down there", he nodded and stepped to the edge and began firing his rockets down on them "and who says cats are better than dogs" I laughed and after a bit he stopped "they have been taken care of" "good boy". We slid down and started looting but there really wasn't anything that good, "I FOUND A SHINY" I looked over to Krieg and walked over "what do you me-" another barrier popped up over us and I stared at him "….really Krieg".
