CHAPTER 35
Hey guys how are y'all? I hope that good. Well I promised another update for this story and here it is. I know that I've been writing new stories but the good thing about this one is that I already have it written down so I just need to type it. I have written down on notebook paper and I'm almost to the end so I think that I should post more chapters and stay away front the end so I could write a good ending for this very long story lol to be honest I think that this will be my longest story that I have ever written and that I will probably write lol. Well I do not own any of the twilight characters or the mortal instruments or the fast and the furious but I do own the ones that I've created. With that said I will now leave you guys to the chapter.

KARLA'S POV
I left Jace asleep on the bed. I knew that he was going to be having a hangover just like I did.
I walked with Alice down the hall. "Alice wait." I said.
Alice turned around. "What is it?" She asked.
"I ned to talk to my sister first." I told her.
Alice smiled and nodded.
"Will you come with me?" I asked.
Alice smiled again. "Of course!" She said.
Where did she get so much energy from?
Oh. I forgot that she's a vampire.
"Where are Alice, Edward, Isabella and Kimberly?" I asked.
"With Esme, Carlisle, Rosalie, and Emmett downstairs." Alice said.
I nodded.
We walked back to Jakelin's room.
I sighed.
Alice out one of her hands on my shoulder.
I nodded and knocked on the door.
"Come in." Jakelin said.
I opened the door and went in with Alice on my heels.
Alice closed the door behind her.
Jakelin turned around. "Hey I was about to go look for you." She said.
"You were?" I asked.
"There is something that we need to talk about." Jakelin said going to sit on the couch.
I followed her.
Alice sat beside me.
"Listen so there is no easier way to say this...but..." Jakelin said but then sighed.
I waited for her to finish saying what she was going to say.
Kimberly was leaving and so was her.
"I want Kimberly to stay here with you." She said.
"Don't worry I'll be...what?" I said.
Jakelin smiled. "I wang Kimberly to stay here with you." She said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because you are the only one that can protect her." She said.
My heart beat started to quicken.
Was this a joke?
Alice put her hand on top of mine and gave it a small squeeze.
"But you hate me." I said.
Jakelin sighed and got up. "That pass five months have been hell to me. I thought that I was going to die but I knew that I couldn't without knowing if Kimberly was with you or not. When Carlos asked me where you lived, I was actually glad to hear that she was already with you. That it didn't matter to me that Carlos threw me on the floor. I made my choice yesterday as we were on our way here." She said.
She didn't wanted Kimberly? Why? Kimberly is her daughter.
"You don't want Kimberly." I said.
Jakelin shook her head. "I want the opportunity to start over. To meet someone. To fall in love. To get married and start a family." Jakelin said.
So that was the reason why she had given Kimberly to Erick? Kimberly was stopping her from doing that.
"Just because Erick is not here anymore you're giving her to me? Because you don't want an obstacle on your life? Is that what she is to you?" I asked.
Jakelin swallowed. "Part of it." She whispered.
"Tell me why!" I said.
"Because she looks like him! I really don't have a choice here!" She said as she started to raise her voice. "I don't want to be reminded of him. It brings back the nightmare I lived. I hate Carlos so much, and I don't want to hate her." She said.
"But she's your daughter. Why ate you doing this? Why now?" I asked.
"I have seen the way that you loom at her, and the way that she looks at you. She looks up to you. You are a role model to her. You have given her the love that I could give her in just a few months. I was born to give birth to her, but you were born to be her mother." Jakelin said.
I got up and shook my head. I love Kimberly but Jakelin wasn't going to get out of this that easily. "I'll do it but on one condition." I said.
"Which is?" She asked.
"I want you to be part of her life." I said.
"I can't do that." She said.
I sighed. I had my back to her. "Then I'll take care of her, and I will make choices for her as if I was her mother. But if you have more children don't think that ima end up taking care of them also." I said.
Jakelin nodded.
"You can stay here as long as you want." I told her.
Jakelin nodded again.
"Oh and by the way, don't tell anyone about the knives and what I did to your wrist. You can tell them how we fought but except for the rest. I don't need anyone asking questions." I said.
"Okay." She said.
I nodded and left her room.
Alice was beside me in an instant.
I was glad that Kimberly was going to get to stay, but I didn't like what Jakelin was doing to her.
Jakelin is her mother. Biological mother. How could she do that?
I could t leave Isabella behind, even though I had not give birth to her. Maybe I always cared too much.
"What are you thinking?" Alice asked.
"About what my sister said." I told her.
Alice sighed.
"It's weird, huh?" I asked.
"Yes. I haven't seen or heard a mother do that." She said.
I nodded. "I think the same." I said
Alice nodded.
We made it outside and we walked to the training building.
I went in and changed. When I came back I saw that Jace was already there in his gear.
"Hey." Jace said with a smile as he set up the ropes.
"Hey." I said with a smile.
He gave me a light kiss on the lips. "How come you didn't wake me up?" He asked.
I sighed and started going up the ladder. "Alice was jumping on the bed, and she kept telling me to get up. I have this hangover, and I knew you would too so I decided to let you rest." I said.
Jace chuckled.
I finished going up the stair and climbed on the beam.
Jace was just behind me.
"Its been like two years since the last time I drank." I told him.
"Yeah it happens." Jace said looking up at the sky.
I looked up as well. "I just hope that it doesn't start raining while we're up here." I said.
Jace nodded. "So do I." He said.
"Wo! Action time! Go Karla!" Emmett yelled from the ground.
I smiled and shook my head. "Have you turned yourself into a cheerleader?" I asked.
"Hey if you have the outfit I would wear it. I would be one hot cheerleader." He said.
I laughed. "I have a pair of pon pons." I said.
"Where?" He asked.
I smiled and raised an eyebrow. "Alice?" I said.
Alice smiled. "Got them." Alice said before she ran inside vampire speed.
Man I wish I could do that.
Alice was back with a pair of pon pons in a matter of seconds. She gave them to Emmett.
"Ready? Okay! Go Karla Go! Go Karla Go!" Emmett said raising one of his legs up and jumping like a cheerleader.
I laughed again.
"So what do you think?" Emmett asked.
"You're actually good." I said before I imagined him in a cheerleader outfit. I busted out laughing and Edward joined me.
"Alright alright enough with the laughing time to get to work." Emmett said.
I took deep breaths to calm myself and nodded. I turned around and started doing backflips.
God I never thought I was this flexible.
I faced the other beam and did front flips. When I made it to the next beam, I crouched and jumped kind of high I did a flip and landed it.
The wind blew hard and I felt kind of dizzy. I slipped and almost felled but I grabbed myself from one of the beams.
"Karla!" Alice yelled.
"Hold on!" Gisselle yelled.
I took a deep breath and pulled myself up but I couldn't.
"Come on try to get back on the beam. You can do it." Jace said.
I nodded. I swag my legs and I was able to put one back on the beam. Then I pulled myself back up.
I sat down and sighed.
"Good. You did good. Even if you lost your balance for a little bit you're still practicing in case that you are in a similar situation in case that we are in a fight." Jace said.
I nodded.
Alice ran and jumped and landed right beside me causing me to jump. "Are you alright?" She asked.
I nodded. "I think so." I said.
"What happened?" She asked.
"I must have gotten dizzy because of the hangover and the wind." I told her.
"Are you sure?" She asked.
Damn she sounds just like my mother.
"Yes." I said.
"You're not...?" She asked letting her though trail off.
"Of course not." I told her.
"Well maybe it was because of the hangover." Alice said.
I nodded.
"Do you want to continue?" She asked.
"Yes mother." I said before I got up.
Alice smiled and jumped off.
I shook my head and sighed. I wasn't going to be drinking for a while.
"Alright Karla come down so we can practice with weapons." Jace said.
I nodded.
The Cullens ran inside the training building.
I looked down and saw them looking up smiling.
I smiled and shook my head. Then I threw myself of the beam and pushed off the walls. I pushed myself under and over until the cable stopped me a few feet from the Cullens. I released myself and did a last spin and landed on one knee.
I wasn't perfect yet, but I was getting there. "So what do you guys think?" I asked.
"You did pretty good for a human." Emmett said.
I smiled and rolled my eyes. "Well as you can see in not a normal human. Not every human can do that." I said.
Emmett smiled. "That's true." He said.
I smiled.
"You did so good!" Alice said coming to give me a hug.
I hugged her back. I was beginning to see how attached I was becoming to the Cullens. It felt like I knew them for a very long time and they had only been here a day.
"Thank you." I said.
Alice let me go and smiled. "You're welcome." She said with a smile.
"Alice." I said.
"Yes?" She asked.
"Can I ask you something?" I asked.
"Of course." She said.
"You won't get mad?" I asked.
"Nope!" She said.
"Were you always this hyper as a human?" I asked.
Alice smiled a sad smile. "I don't remember my human life." She said.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean..." I said.
"Its okay." Alice said interrupting me going back to her normal self. "So we heard that you are going to practice with weapons?" She asked changing the subject.
I smiled. "Yes. Let me go change." I said.
She nodded.
I went to change into my gear.
It was black and it was made of this thick material. It covered my body completely. I out on my best and black boots on.
I put my hair up in a high ponytail since I was swearing and it was windy outside. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked paler with the gear.
I sighed and smiled it didn't matter. I went outside since nobody was in the training building anymore.
Jace had two tables full of weapons outside.
I went to look at them and got two silver sais. I smiled and spinned them in my hands. I walked to the front of the building.
Jace was already there with two gold sais in his hands.
I smiled.
"Wo! This is what I'm talking about!" Emmett yelled.
I laughed.
"Ready?" Jace asked.
I smiled. "Don't hold back." I told him.
Jace smiled. "I wont." He said as he came at me.
I put both of my sais up to protect myself. Them I pushed him away and started hitting his with mine.
We moved back and forward fighting each other.
Then I turned in a circle and he almost got me but I did a split. I pushed his sais away from mine and got back up. I ran and did three front flips but he was right behind me.
We kept hitting each others sais until I took one away and then I took the other in less than a minute.
I stopped and he didn't move anymore either.
Jace smiled.
"Woah." Emmett said.
I smiled.
"I had never seen anything like that." Carlisle said.
"That's because y'all are always with vampires." Jace said.
Carlisle chuckled. "That's true. So what do shadowhunters do?" He asked.
"We kill demons, werewolves, vampires, fairies, ect. We protect humans." Jace said.
All of the Cullens stepped back.
"Y'all would be very hard to kill. I'm talking about another type of vampires. We have an agreement with everyone except demons but if the rest don't break the law then we are fine. If they break it we kill them or they get punished." Jace explained.
"Oh!" They said.
"Hey Karla! How about I help you practice your fighting skills?" Emmett asked flexing his muscles.
"I would love to but I'm afraid that you might break me." I said.
"Ah come on! I'll be gentle." He said.
I laughed. "Fine!" I said with a smile.
We got away from everyone and went to where we had some space.
Emmett was a few feet away from me. He had this crazy grin on his face.
I took a deep breath.
He ran and I jumped and did a flip in the air.
I landed on the other side. I turned around and he was right behind me.
He tried to grab my neck, and I blocked his hands.
I knew that I was just going to end up all bruises all over my arms as I kept blocking.
I grabbed Emmett's arm and jumped and turned and landed behind him.
"My turn! My turn!" Alice said.
I was out of breath.
Alice had a lot of energy.
It was going to take longer than Emmett.
Emmett groaned. "I was barely starting to have fun with a human!" He said whining.
I laughed. "Take it slow pixie. I'm not as fast as you." I said.
Alice had this crazy grin like Emmett.
Oh God. Here we go again.
Then alice was suddenly in front of me.
Okay guys I am going to leave it there since I have to go to sleep. I really hope y'all enjoyed the chapter. I'm sorry for the late update but I barely had time today since I was writing a chapter for my other story.
