Relax, Read, Reflect, Repeat
Hoogland was the perfect place to ground permanently.
Few people live here. Not many celebrations. The geography is perfect to avoid chances of running into anyone I probably know from London.
My library work is near nil so I read to pass the time. After having read every book nearly twice, I launched an afternoon reading session for the children.
At the airship-turned-domicile, the silence is deafening.
…
My mind wanders to that night she left.
Did I do something wrong? Did she? What happened? Could it have been prevented?
Then I go to bed after calming tea.
And repeat everything.
A/N: "Wind Village" I'm referring to is interchangeable with Hoogland, an actual place named in the Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy game (C) Level-5, Inc.
