Well, here's the chapter you've all been waiting for, the Liberation of Montevideo. Here's chapter 12!

Chapter 12A: Estevez Palace.

It's December 15th, 2014, and it's been 3 days since Ricardo destroyed the Canelones Jammer. With the jammer now destroyed, the war is now starting to come to a close, with Montevideo in the verge of being liberated. However, Leasath was at the expense of defenses at Montevideo by fortifying the city by technology for the Meson Cannon to stop the Uruguayan forces and Ricardo, known to them as 'Nemesis' and the 'Southern Cross'. Anyway, Ricardo and other Uruguayan pilots were in the ready room putting on their flight gear for that the day of Montevideo's liberation is finally here. Once they got everything on, they proceed to the briefing room. Eugene tells them the report before briefing on the mission.

"We've succeeded in ending radar interference from Canelones. We are now better prepared for an assault on Montevideo." Eugene said.

"All right, so what's the briefing?" Ricardo asked.

"Our mission is the liberation of Montevideo. I'll explain the details . Montevideo is protected by the Meson Cannon. The cannon would have posed a much greater threat had Leasath succeeded in delivering the MBSRs. Thanks to your efforts in stopping their delivery our ground forces should be able to approach the capital unhindered. If allied forces are able to make their way to the center of the Atmos Ring and into Estevez Palace, they will be able to take control of the enemy central command and free the city. It will be our duty to support the troops from above. Leasath's army is prepared for us. We expect this to be a fierce battle for both sides. Although the energy output of the Meson Cannon is unstable, it can still inflict considerable damage to any allied units caught within firing range. The more damage we inflict to the Meson Cannon, the easier it will be for our troops to take the city. The capital's liberation is finally within our grasp. Sir, please decide the course of action." Eugene explained.

"All right, seniors, this is it. The liberation of our capital, Montevideo. This is gonna be a fierce battle. So, let's make our troops proud, our people proud, General Artigas proud, and free our country!" Ricardo said.

"Yeah!" all the Uruguayan pilots hollered.

"Libertad o Muerte!"
