It's been a long trip, but we finally escaped to Regna Ferox. I decided to sleep on the trip and think over everything that happened up to this point. I can understand morale being down from Emmeryn's death, but I need to stop letting it get to me. It's in human nature to fail, but we need to use these failures as a reason to continue fighting, in order to preserve the goals of those who died.
"Maybe I should find Miriel and finally finish our lessons." I say to myself. I can't believe it left my mind for so long, but it's better to get things done later than to never finish them at all. Now that I think about it, I haven't spoken to Gaius in a long time either. I know this isn't the greatest time to talk to the others, but maybe I can raise morale a bit, even the smallest bit would make me happy.
"Where the hell are they at though?" I wondered. I decided to search out for Miriel first, mainly because I think it would be easier to find her compared to the sweet tooth thief. "What would be a good place to look though? Miriel always seems to be on the hunt for more knowledge, so maybe a Feroxi archive? Where is that though?" I decided it might be best to just ask around, but I have serious doubts I'll get any half decent info.
"There you are! I've been looking all over for you." I quickly turn my head to see Kyle walking towards me.
"Why were you searching for me?" I asked. From the look on his face, it's definitely important.
"Ryan's badly injured and we want you to help us interrogate the suspect." I can understand Ryan being badly injured by Alex, but who the hell did they accuse? I should probably see who it is before I continue to look for Miriel.
"Lead the way." Kyle nodded his head and started to walk in the direction he came from. I quickly followed after him, not really in the mood to getting lost for the time being.
We eventually came to a set of stairs that went downwards, likely to a prison. When did they find out about a prison? "Can I ask a question?" Kyle simply nodded. "Where does this lead?"
"It goes to a prison underneath the castle, our prisoner insisted he knew who you were and wanted to speak to you." Kyle answered like it was nothing. How did they find out about this? Then again, we were all in separate carriages so it's likely they might have brought it up to Flavia before I saw them again.
Kyle led me down towards the cells and stopped at the third one to the left. I looked into it and saw Lewis currently on a bench in handcuffs. He raises his head to face me and forces a smile. I could also see that his mask was removed and the eye not covered by his hair is blue. "You're free to leave, I want to keep this meeting between us." He said, directing it to Kyle.
"No can do. Until your suspicions are cleared, someone has to supervise all of your conversations. Unfortunately, that is me for the time being." Kyle sighed in annoyance.
"Fine, have it your way, but I'm going to keep insisting that I did NOT attack Ryan!" Lewis shouted in retort.
"Until evidence is provided that can prove that, you're still the prime suspect." Kyle stated, crossing his arms.
"Fuck off! If you want proof, then ask him! He saw Ryan's attacker!" He directed that point to me. He's right, I know Ryan's attacker and I'm not going to abandon Lewis.
"Kyle, I can say without a doubt that this suspect did NOT try to kill Ryan, let alone attack him in any way." I say, standing by Lewis' argument.
"If that's true, then you'll need to describe EVERY detail about Ryan's true attacker, and then I'll at least put Lewis under parole. Know this though, he will be under your watch, and I will not hesitate to exact punishment on both of you if he turns on us." Kyle stated with an intimidating glare.
Slightly scared of the glare, I described Alex's description to the best of my abilities, leaving next to no room for questions. "Okay, now will you let him go?"
"Like I said, he's under your watch. So if he tries ANYTHING even REMOTELY funny, I will not hesitate to make the both of you suffer on the spot." Kyle warned with that glare again. Seriously, it could probably scare a god into pissing itself in fear. After giving the warning, Kyle opened up Lewis' cell and unlocked his handcuffs.
"Thanks, now do you mind leaving?" Lewis requested while massaging his wrists.
"Well you're free now, so whatever you talk about isn't of my concern." Kyle stated before walking away to let us talk. Once we were sure he was gone, I turned towards Lewis.
"So, it looks like all doubts I could have are gone now." I commented as soon as Kyle was gone.
"Yep, so I guess I should tell everyone who I really am later. Wait, is today the day when it happens?" He started to think it over for a second. "The situation leading to it might be different, but it's possible it might happen…"
"What are you talking about?" I blatantly asked him. He snaps out of his thought process and looks directly towards me.
"It's nothing, just something I want to check up on. I think we should head to a clearing to the east of here in a few hours." He suggested.
"Why?"
"Just do it, and you'll see why. Until then, you probably had plans to hang out with some of the others, so feel free to do what you want and I'll stay close by." He said, letting me take the lead.
I walked up the stairs with Lewis close behind. "So, do you have any idea where the archives might be?"
"How in the fifty hells would I know that?" Lewis answered.
"It was worth a shot." I say to myself. "Anyways, since you're so close to your parents now, are you going to tell them who you really are?"
"Maybe sometime later. I originally planned on waiting half a year after the war, but as you see the situation changed and without a mask to hide my eyes, they'll likely figure it out the instant they see my right eye." He answered nonchalantly.
"It's amazing how you can sound like you don't give a fuck." I comment.
"It's a gift. I'm not going to worry too much because I'm just of a different time. If they don't accept me, then I can just go back to my future." He stated with the same tone.
"Don't go saying they won't accept you just like that."
"My birth came from different circumstances where telling them about who I am at the wrong time could prevent my existence. So if that's the case, I consider myself not accepted by them." He states with a more sombre tone.
"What will running away do though, you must have already made some sort of friendships with others, so what would they think if you disappeared?" I asked without turning to face him.
"Aside from you and Ryan, they could probably care less. I've never tried to become close to anyone because I was always on the move, and even if I did stay in a single place, I shunned them away." His tone was definitely weaker than it was before. Am I starting to hear the real Lewis?
"Why did you shun others away?"
"I was scared… scared of losing them forever… that's why I prefer to be alone, I can't lose anyone if I don't try to care for someone." He explained. I don't need to be a therapist to know it really hurts for him to talk about things like that.
"Lewis…" I mutter. I can't help but feel sorry for him. Deep down, he probably just wants to have a normal life, but like everyone else he's cursed to fight.
"Don't worry about me, I'm changing that after today." Lewis said with a light laugh. "Anyways, now that I'm going to be around more often, I have to ask… is there anyone here that catches your fancy? I mean the Alicia of this time has to be born somehow."
"What the hell man?" I was completely shocked by not only his 180 in behaviour, but how he was so blunt about the question.
"I was just curious." He explained, likely shrugging.
"Still, you don't just ask about someone's personal life like that." I retort.
"Whatever, just remember that I'll be close by when you talk to some of the others." He stated. Sighing from his antics, I decided to continue my search for Miriel. No one seemed to be around that I could ask for her possible location, unless…
"Hey Kellam, are you around?" I can't believe I've forgotten about him for who knows how long. I mean I don't really plan to talk to him too much, but I need to try and mix up who I talk to. Especially since I can't force people to change their schedules.
I quickly looked around for him and for once, there was nothing. "Hahaha! It's funny how the one time you expect him to be around, he's actually somewhere else." Lewis was laughing at my poor timing. Way to be a dick.
"Maybe Gaius is around then." I considered. To the dining hall, because he's likely stealing someone else's candy!
"Why are you randomly pointing?"
"Shut up." We walked towards the dining area and just as I suspected, Gaius jacked some candy from behind a counter. Seeing an opportunity to be an ironic asshole, I decided to sneak up behind him and see if I can scare him. Or at least make him drop the candy. I could see Lewis shaking his head, either in disappointment, or he thinks I'm going to fuck up.
"Boss, I know that's you, so don't mess with my candy." Gaius warned without turning around.
"Spoil sport." I complained. I didn't even need to turn around to know that Lewis was now mocking me from the shadows. He really is a different person when he stops going for the whole angsty loner bullshit. "Anyways, here's your pay." I hand him a sack of the agreed amount of gold and some sweets. Actually, I put in a bit more gold, considering how well he did in the surprise attack in the coliseum area a week or so back.
"Feels a bit heavier than usual." Gaius commented as he held the sack.
"I felt like you deserved a little bonus for helping out so much a week back." I state with a smile.
"It was that invasion, wasn't it?" He asked. I nodded in confirmation.
"So… what do you plan after this war is over anyways?" I decided to ask just for the sake of it. Gaius just shrugged like he didn't know.
"I think I'll just go back to doing what I normally do. It's not a glorious life, but it's a way to make a living."
"Well, you could always just stay with the shepherds and try to make some sort of investigation squad." I suggested.
"Heh, maybe. I'd still get a decent pay, and the thrill of it might be just like my thieving life."
"Was part of the reason you became a thief solely because of the thrill?" I asked out of curiosity.
"The candy stealing came from that anyway, but the gold was something I needed. It's just too easy to get into debts nowadays." He stated.
"How the hell did you get into debts that made you have to resort to stealing?"
"That's a story for another time, but I think I'll give your idea some thought." He said while popping a fresh sucker into his mouth.
"It's better than just having to resort to stealing, so I say go for it. Before I forget, do you happen to know where Miriel is?" I asked. If the master of not getting noticed isn't around, then I might as well ask the master candy thief.
"I saw her outside a few minutes ago. Don't know what she was doing though." He answered. Any info is better than no info, so it's worth checking out.
"Thanks Gaius." I say with a wave. I decided to leave at that moment with Lewis not far behind.
"Is there any reason you're looking for this Miriel person?" Lewis asked for the sake of making conversation. We're still inside the building at the moment, so I think I should entertain him while we look for her.
"I've been teaching her how to use magic without tomes a few weeks back. I figured it was high time we finish these lessons after she had so much time to practice." I answered.
"Hmm I see, I'll make sure to stay in the shadows during your 'lessons'… ow! What the hell?" He asked while rubbing his forehead.
"Enough with the damn innuendoes or I'm going to just report you to Kyle. You better pray he doesn't give you a lecture either, those make you want to take Frederick's fanatic fitness hour in a heartbeat." I state with a nasty glare. He tries to shrug off the threat, but I can still see the nervous look in his eyes.
"Can you forgive a guy for trying to lighten the mood? I mean it's dead as hell here and it's getting on my nerves, and I'm the guy who normally doesn't mind it." Lewis stated with an annoyed look. Well, I would assume so anyways, I didn't bother to look back in his direction.
"By the way, how the hell were you able to ignore the cold when we first met?" I asked as we reached the door that goes outside.
"I don't know, I just don't think about it so it won't affect me. I mean if it reached a certain temperature, then I would constantly bitch about it, no matter how hard I try not to think about it." He answered while opening the door. The quick rush of cool air sent a chill down my spine before I used a tiny fragment of fire magic to heat myself up. "Hey, wasn't your coat specially made for shit like this?"
"It was burned at the invasion and its charm lost effect. It really makes things worse since I would have loved to have it in the desert." I answered, starting to walk through the doorway.
"You couldn't have gotten Kyle to reapply the charm or something?"
"Ironically, he doesn't know shit about charms, he can master spellcasting and enchanting, but he can't charm something at all." I state with a light chuckle.
"Heh, so who charmed it then?" He asked before he felt like breaking into laughter.
"Believe it or not, it was Kevin's brother, Brandon. If I recall correctly, they're only half-brothers since they have the same father, but their mother is completely different." I stated.
"Why are you bringing that up though?" He asked, not understanding what I mean.
"It's obvious, Brandon's mother was once a famed mage who was an expert in charms and she taught him a decent amount of what she knows. It's actually pretty obvious once you see his arrows and notice the inscriptions on the tail end of them."
"Hmm, interesting… maybe I'll borrow one when I go back with you and examine it." Lewis said while thinking over the info I gave him.
"So now you're thinking about tagging along with us? But earlier, didn't you say you were going to run off if you weren't accepted by your parents? This is confusing as hell."
"Dumbass, even though my timeline was shot to shit because of a chain of events that happened after your death, everyone's still alive, barely, but they're pulling through." He stated in a matter of factly tone.
"What the hell caused that?"
"Hey, look, it's a distraction!" I quickly turned my head in the direction he was pointing, not realizing what he said until I already looked away. When I turn my head back, he was already gone, with a trail of footprints heading east, I think so anyways. Directions are not my strong suit.
"I guess I might as well follow him." I sighed in annoyance. I decided to start following the footsteps in the snow as quickly as I can. The snow is a little deep though so my pace is going to be slower, but I think I can catch up to him.
I now regret trying to trudge through this snow, it's tiring as hell and I swear my foot is going to get caught on something at some moment. "Son of a bitch!" Called it. My foot just sunk down into the snow deep enough that it reached my upper leg. It took me a few seconds to pull it out, and now my leg felt cold as hell. "Fucking snow, I like it when I don't need to walk through it, but holy shit does my hatred slowly become more furious."
After a few more minutes of trudging, I happened to come upon a clearing. "Finally, a place to rest." That is until I noticed a fireball whiz by and incinerate an upright log. I looked to the source of the fire and notice that Miriel was standing there, practicing her magic. She's wearing Sage's robes now instead of the older mage gear. I guess we had a spare master seal, or Robin felt like giving it to her. Deciding to not just stand there and risk being called a stalker, I called out to her. "Hey Miriel!" Luckily, she wasn't chanting another spell as she turned around to face my direction.
"Ah, Tyler. For what reason are you here?" She asked.
"I decided to check up on your spellcasting without tomes. I figured that since a decent amount of time has passed that I should see if you have improved." I answered.
"I see, shall we begin the lesson then?" She offered. I nodded my head in agreement and walked towards the location where the log once was. I entered a more defensive stance and explain the conditions.
"So here's what you have to do. I'll be focusing purely on defending your magic attacks, if you hit me with three attacks that break my guard, you'll pass. If not, you'll fail and we'll continue the lessons at a later date." I simply state.
"Understood, now let us begin the lesson." She said while entering an offensive stance.
*Ten minutes later*
"Impressive, you've become very good at using spells without tomes." I state after a few light coughs. She seems to have the capability to use quite a margin of spells without needing time to recuperate since she almost rapid fired spells for nearly ten minutes. That's what I get for not making a time limit of some kind.
"It seems as though my continued practice of these arts has vastly improved from the moment we started these lessons." Miriel observed. She does have a point, by constantly practicing this skill she can now cast spells without tomes, as efficiently as she could with a tome. Hell, I think she could do better with the former now.
"Well, what can I say? You are a good student and you really put a lot of focus into mastering this technique." I comment.
"You were an adequate teacher, and the lesson was extraordinary in amplifying magical abilities." She stated.
"Well, hopefully you will help pass this technique on to future generations of mages, because I don't think I have what it takes to be a teacher for younger mages." I say while scratching the back of my head.
"I shall see what I can do about this task." Miriel said. I gave her an approving nod and decided to go on my way. Now it's time to locate Lewis and see if I can figure out what the hell he means.
*One hour later*
I don't think I've ever said this enough but, FUCK THIS SNOW! Seriously, it's nice to look at, but I fucking HATE walking through it. Worst of all, Lewis' trail went cold so I've been aimlessly wandering for an hour.
'You didn't even think I could help?'
'Shut it Larson, you might be able to somehow see out of my eyes, but that won't help you help me.'
'Geez, calm down.'
'How about no, not until you suffer this shit.' I respond, clearly pissed off beyond reason right now.
'Well if you don't want to know that Lewis is east of where you are now at a different clearing, then be my guest.'
'Wait, what?' I didn't fully hear what he said, but I picked up on Lewis and a clearing.
'Sorry, I didn't say a thing, unless you apologize that is.' He said while trying to hold back a laugh.
'Fine, sorry.'
'It'll do… I guess. Lewis is east of your location, now get going.' He said in a slightly annoyed manner.
'Thanks.' I simply say, following his instructions. It took a few minutes, but I finally managed to catch up to Lewis. For some reason, he's hiding behind a tree while poking his head from behind it just enough to see the clearing. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Shh, just look for yourself." He answered. I guess he was expecting me to show up earlier because he showed no signs of surprise or anything. Way to be a killjoy Lewis. I decided to take a quick look into the clearing to see what the hell Lewis was talking about.
"Is this for real?" I quickly take my glasses off and wipe them just to confirm that they're in good condition. I also rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I didn't think I would need to pinch myself though because this cold air really assures me that I'm awake. When I put my glasses back on, I blinked twice just to be positive my eyes are ok. In the middle of that clearing, Jessica and Melissa are there hugging each other, and not that apologetic or friendly kind either. "What the hell? We were just joking about that possibility, but it's actually going to happen?" I whisper to Lewis.
"Yep, and believe it or not, you were the catalyst."
"Wha…?"
"Yeah, after you got them to start talking with each other, some shit happened that kind of spark Jessica's other preference." He stated with a light laugh.
"But wasn't Melissa finally over Kevin? I mean there's no way they'll be able to hide something like this." I asked, still trying to get over the initial shock of the surprise.
"Fun fact about that, she was over him, then a week after this, it reignited." Well I feel like a failure as a therapist now.
"I would have thought she would have tried for someone else though." I stated.
"She did, just the dumbass didn't realize it and he ended up dead in my time before she could confess, and he was too dense to realize it until someone else told him right to his face in this time." He stated with a glare directed right at me. Son of a…
"Let me guess, it was me?" I ask in a tone that suggests that I knew it was right.
"Yeah, you were too damn dense to realize how much she wanted to be by your side, but she didn't want to make the same mistakes she did with Kevin." Oh yeah, her near yandere-ish advances that she pulled off earlier. I guess I really am a dense idiot after all for not realizing it. I decided to pull out a small notebook and pencil before quickly making a quick mark. "What are you doing?"
I just show him the page I made the mark on and did a pathetic chuckle. It's my 'Amount of times my density got the better of me.' page. It's got a decent number of tally marks on it, up to seven I think considering this page is pretty small. "Just goes to show how much of a fool I am, aren't I?" I asked, taking the notebook back.
"The evidence is definitely there, but one day you'll finally beat your density." He says in an attempt of inspiration.
"Maybe you're right." I say with a light laugh. "Now why don't we get a front row seat for when Kevin finds out?" My sombre smile turns into a more sadistic one upon this thought. I swear his reaction is going to be golden, and getting a front row seat is going to be the way to get rid of all the angst in this atmosphere.
"Sure, it might be better than half the performing groups I've encountered." Lewis answered with a laugh. We made a quick escape out of the area and hurried back to the castle before Jessica and Melissa could arrive.
Once we arrived, we instantly ran for the door to Kevin's room and hid behind the closest corner we could find, waiting for Jessica and Melissa to enter. "Hey, why did you think Kevin would be waiting in his room anyways?"
"I overheard him say that he was going to rest up today since he believes we might go after Gangrel soon." He answered. We waited in silence for a few more moments before we noticed Jessica and Melissa enter his room. As soon as the door closed, we ran up and pressed our ears against it to listen in on what's going on.
(Kevin's POV)
Man, these past few days have been torture on my stamina. At least I'm feeling a whole lot better after getting some extra sleep. I should probably do some training in a bit, I need to make sure I don't get rusty. Maybe I can check with Kyle if I can get Lewis out for a quick match. I could offer him freedom if he wins, but he would need to explain why he has a gauntlet similar to my right arm in design if he loses.
*KNOCK* *KNOCK*
Who the hell would be knocking at this time? It might be close to noon, but I thought everyone decided to split up until Kyle asked to change shifts. "Come in." I called out. Surprisingly, Jessica walked in with Melissa right behind her. To make things weirder, Melissa is hiding behind Jessica and she looks like she's nervous as hell. "Jess, Melissa? What are you two doing here?" I asked.
"K-Kevin there's something we need to let you kn-know…" Jess stuttered. Wait, stuttered!? Not only that, her face is turning red.
"We?" I asked while trying to keep calm. I can't afford to lose my cool, so I just need to take it carefully.
"Y-yes, we. We wanted to let you know that we uh…" Crap, her face has gone bright red.
"We kind of… fell in… love with each other." Melissa finished the sentence, likely to try and direct more of the blame her way.
"Wh-wh-wh-WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!"
*THUMP*
(Tyler's POV)
"Oh god my ears, they hurt so much." I groaned in pain while I was rolling on the floor with my hands on my ears.
"Dammit, we're going to get busted." Lewis whispered.
(Kevin's POV)
"Wait, wait, wait calm down for a quick second!" Jess yelled at me after my sudden freak out.
"WHY SHOULD I!?" I shouted in response. To think that she would do this kind of thing and tell me straight to my face. It's a miracle I haven't ran right out of the room yet.
*SLAP*
"Ow, my jaw." I groaned while massaging it. Melissa decided to outright bitch slap me from yelling like that.
"Good, now quiet down and listen to what we have to say, or I won't be afraid to hit the other side." She threatened. I decided to keep my mouth shut since I know she was only holding back on the first slap, and I don't want to take a full power one on the other side.
"So, to basically explain everything, do you remember what my oldest brother did two years ago?" Jess asked. I could tell she's trying to be brave since she's scared I'll just freak out again.
"Yeah, I remember what he did. He spread a rumor about me cheating on you that was proven to be false. He's still having trouble accepting that you can make your own decisions." I answer.
"Right, now do you remember the promise we made?"
"Yeah, if I remember correctly, once the rumor was proven false, we promised that… if you ever found a woman you loved as much as me, you wanted us to have a polygamous relationship. Wait, you mean that…?"
"Yes…" Jess proceeded to prove her point by planting one on Melissa. "…And don't go thinking I didn't look up what happened while I was gone." She stated.
"The fate's war, where you were forced to work with one side, and my memory involving everyone I know was wiped." I stated. "Fine, as much as I'll regret it later, I'll give it a shot for now. I won't like it, and I think getting adjusted to it will take a while, but unofficially, welcome to the family Melissa." When the hell did my life get so crazy? I think I'm going to need to hit a tavern later to think things over.
"Thank you Kevin." Melissa said before she passionately hugged Jess. "See, I told you he would eventually agree to it if you told him, now we don't need to hide it." I decided to leave the room to give them some privacy, and so I could think some things over.
"Hey, where are you going?" Jess asked as I reached the door.
"I'm just going to let you two have a little moment to yourselves, and I need to think this over a bit more." I answer, waving them both goodbye.
(Tyler's POV)
"Quick let's get going!" Lewis whispered in panic. I got back onto my feet and we both ran off.
"Hold it right there you two." Kevin commanded once the door closed. Lewis and I both stopped in our tracks as Kevin walked over. "Now what were you two doing listening in on what was happening?" Shit, busted.
"What makes you so sure we were listening in on something, we were just walking by." Lewis lied.
"Yeah right, I heard your rapid footsteps as I was leaving, and I know you fell on the floor when I yelled earlier." Kevin stated while glaring at me. "And you, I thought my older self would have taught you better." He said while glaring at Lewis.
"Wha… uh… huh…eh…ah…" Lewis was pretty much left speechless upon the sudden deduction.
"Seriously, how are you so good at observations?" I asked, completely dumbfounded at how he figured Lewis out so quick.
"Well, let me put the pieces together, and mix in my past experiences. First, I've had this case happen before three years ago when older incarnations of my son and daughter were forced back in time by a certain bastard who I hate to talk about. Two, this case happened to you a few months ago…" He quickly looked at me. "…so I was mentally prepared for the possibility of a third child appearing, although the circumstances behind your birth is what caught me off guard." He scratched the back of his head at that.
"But, that doesn't explain how you figured out it was Lewis." I stated.
"I was getting to that. Now first of all, the mask you were wearing was my old one from four years ago. Second, your eye is the exact same shade of blue as my own, and my mother's. Third, your gauntlet is made out of the exact same material as my right arm, and its Alonite gem core is exactly like my first one when I first got this arm. Lastly, your sword."
"My sword?" Lewis asked, actually confused at this deduction.
"Despite the new color, it's the Soul Ripper, isn't it?"
"Not exactly, it's a different blade called the Jigoku no ikari, or Hell's Fury, whatever you want to call it. It's based off of your Soul Ripper, but it's more powerful by quite a margin if used right." Lewis stated.
"Well, I felt power similar to it, so I thought it was worth investigating. Anyways, I want you to promise me something." Kevin requested.
"What?"
"Don't tell your mother your identity until this war is over, okay?" He asked.
"Why?" Lewis asked, confused.
"This news is kind of big for her, so if news comes out that she's going to be a mother suddenly bombshells onto her, she'll get too emotional to fight, and I'm going to need everyone at their best at the war's final day." Kevin answered.
"Fine, but as soon as this war is over, I'm letting her know." Lewis stated.
"Sounds good to me, now both of you go get out of here, I do want some time to think this whole thing over." Kevin ordered. We both nodded and walked away.
"Well, I'm going to walk around the area some more, see you later." Lewis said before walking away. I decided to head to my room and think things over.
"So much shit happened today that I don't know what the hell to think of it. Maybe things will become clearer tomorrow." I say. I decided to rest my eyes for a bit and awaited a dinner call.
A/N: Holy Shit, this was a long one, and college continues to slow down my writing pace. So, yeah, I did the polygamy option, it should have been obvious ever since it was brought up around Melissa's debut that I would do it. At least I decided to take a front on it where Kevin is going to have trouble accepting this as part of his daily life. Speaking of him, yeah I made it so he figured out Lewis. Kevin has always been the kind of character who I think would be best from deducting the unexpected if he experienced it before, just so he could prepare for the possibility of it happening again. Anyways, next chapter will be the end of the Plegia war, and I intend to make it a one year anniversary chapter, so I hope to see you folks then.
Before I forget, support update!
