37. Chapter 34 Seal of the Orichalcos

Sapphira's P.O.V.

A lot of weird things have been going on lately. It all started when Yami held up the three god cards to the Tablet of Memories. It suddenly froze and started to go haywire. Then real monsters started to appear outside the museum for some odd reason. Then the Egyptian God cards were stolen by some motorcycle gang with this card called The Seal of Orichalcos, that apparently takes the soul of the loser of the duel.

Then Professor Hawkins came and Rebecca came to explain what he found out about a lost city called Atlantis. Apparently he believes that Duel Monsters originated in the lost city of Atlantis over 10,000 years ago. Sometime after he left Yugi got this card called the Eye of Timeaus. Of course, how he got it in the first place confused me at first until he told me the whole story. Now, got this video from Pegasus telling us to come to his headquarters in America and that it's extremely urgent.

I sighed knowing that he was being serious about this. I went up to my room to pack for the trip ahead because I know that the trouble is just beginning. I have a bad feeling about all of this. First monsters come to life, then some giant eye appears in the sky. I can't help but think that something bad is about to happen.

Then next morning, I got dressed and headed downstairs with my luggage, which was just my new light blue schoolbag that I got from my parents before they left to go on another important business trip. I'm okay with it because it means that I get to spend more time with Yugi and Grandpa. I was wearing royal blue tube top with a white leather jacket which ended slightly past my shoulders. I had a black skirt that ended at my knees with a white belt to hold my deck placeholder with dark brown boots and royal blue fingerless gloves and the Millennium Pendant was around my neck like usual.

After we got onto the plane and into the limo that would be driving us to the headquarters, the driver decided to stop at a gas station. Unfortunately, they guy never came back. Then these motorcycle thugs came, but we got away from them thanks to a woman on a motorcycle, who apparently was Mai according to Joey.

We later met Mai at the headquarters of Industrial Illusions to find out that she took Pegasus' soul. Joey dueled her and almost won if Valon, one of the bikers we met in Domino City, hadn't interrupted the duel to save Mai. We later found a card left by Pegasus for Yugi to defeat Dartz. When we went to Rebecca's house, we found out that he was kidnapped by Rafael and that he wanted to duel Yugi.

I don't like the looks of this. Something is telling me that something bad is about to happen. I just hope that we can stop more people from being lost to the seal. If only we knew what this Dartz character was planning. Then maybe, we could find a way to put a stop to him and save the innocent souls that have been captured.
