Note: I do not own any of these characters….except Ardesind. But he's only here a bit. R&R! I'm just having some fun trying my had at FanFic!

You guys. I am SOOOOOOOO sorry about the wait on these next few chapters! I've been FLOODED with schoolwork and tests and work and life and I haven't been on the computer to update. Good news though! This weekend (aside from Saturday afternoon) will be spent writing more for each one of you! :) Tonight and tomorrow night especially. Now, I know it's a bit gutsy of me to do this to the story, but it'll all make sense as we go. Stick with me!

Drop me a note as well, if you have a mo'! I love love LOVE getting them! Enjoy :)

When River woke the next morning she was still snuggled up next to the Doctor. He was watching her, smiling thoughtfully.

"Good morning, sweetie." she said, stretching a bit and running a hand over her belly subconsciously.

"It is indeed." he replied, smiling and shifting them both so he was sitting up and she was leaning into him, resting comfortably on his chest. He kissed the top of her head and slid his fingers over her middle, her hands following and resting on top.

"You know, I don't think I've slept that well in weeks." River said to him.

"Well, River, that's obviously because you're so naturally drawn to my coolness." he teased.

She laughed and said, "Oh, you wish."

They eventually made it out of bed and began to ready themselves for the day.

"River?" the Doctor called to her. He could hear the shower running.

"Yes?" her reply came.

"We're going somewhere today."

River sighed. She knew it would most likely end up being a discussion about what he had seen yesterday.

But hopefully we can get some good adventure in before that discussion.

She quickly finished washing her hair and turned the water off. River dried her curls, leaving them down and loose, just the way the Doctor liked it. Then she wandered over to her wardrobe, grabbing a pair of her jeans and eying them doubtfully.

Oh these won't fit me now! she thought.

As if the Tardis had already planned for her, she spotted another pair of jeans. Pulling them out she saw that they looked exactly the same as her old ones, but they were a bit looser in the waist and would accommodate her bump nicely.

"Thank you, dear!" River said aloud to the Tardis, glad she had thought of clothing adjustments.

Quickly, she pulled on the jeans and threw on an olive green top with just enough give to accent every curve with excellent precision.

When she was ready, she put on her slippers and left the room.

River found the Doctor in the kitchen, frying some eggs and potatoes.

"Ah, River! Hungry?" he said, cheerfully.

"I'm afraid not, sweetie. I'll just have some juice I think."

The Doctor nodded and turned to the fridge. "Ummm...apple, grape, trinx, wilsev, ringesta or...orange?"

River laughed.

"Only you, my love." she said shaking her head. "I'll have some apple juice please."

He pulled out a bottle and poured a glass.

"There you are, dear! Are you sure you don't want any eggs or potatoes or anything else?" River nodded and took a sip of her juice. The Doctor shrugged and dumped the entire pan onto his plate, digging in.

"So, where are we going?" River asked after a minute.

The Doctor swallowed the food in his mouth and replied "Well, I was thinking we could go visit some ancient ruins or something...wherever you want to go."

River nearly spit out her juice with excitement.

"Oh you wonderful man! Really? You'll come on an an archeology trip with me?" She jumped out of her seat and hugged him tightly. "You're the best!"

She kissed his smug grin and ran out of the kitchen, racing to her room to begin packing.

Archeology journals, notebooks, water bottles, scanners, 3 guns, 2 knifes and a utility belt.

This was going to be a fantastic day.
