H.

Thirty. Two. Weeks.

Kill. Me. Now.

I was miserable. All of that crap about pregnant women being "glowing" is a lie! I was miserable...and huge! Whenever I had ultrasounds done the baby was shown to be normal size, but I had gained so much weight that it was hard to believe that. The doctor said that it was actually a good thing, and I guess I had to trust them. Even though I hated it.

"Only eight more weeks!" A overly cheerful Loren laughed. "Can't wait to meet this little girl!" She was all smiles. Loren and I didn't get nearly enough time to spend together anymore. She was my closest female friend but I never got to see her other than work. Which I still was attending against my boss's wishes. He wanted me to take my leave already but I said I'd stick around until the last month.

Draco was on his side of course. He seemed to get more and more nervous as each week passed, as we got closer and closer to the due date. It was rather adorable to see such a strong and reserved man come undone at the slightest mention of his daughter. Yes, he very well did tell everyone that it was his daughter, and so did I. I fully believed in the saying "Anyone can make a baby but it takes a man to be a father." Ron wasn't in the picture, he didn't care about her at all. He may be half of her DNA but he wasn't her father. And I was sure I would get shit for that, but I didn't care. He wasn't there for her, Draco was. For the last few weeks I have been playing with the idea of having Draco legally adopt her at birth. There was a bunch of legal stuff to sort out about that but I figured we'd get there.

Anyway I was finally getting some girl time in with Loren as we had a small breakfast, well small for her and basically a feast for me. We were at one of our favorite little cafes close to where we worked. I was not going in to work today though. At eleven this morning I was going with Draco to attend his court meeting. Something I was not looking forward to in the least.

"Eight more weeks of hell." I rolled my eyes. "This sucks, I'm pretty over it."

"It'll be worth it though!" She smiled again. "Do you know how gorgeous this baby is going to be. With you for her mother. You're beautiful. And then Draco will be around so she'll just like get even more beautiful just for being around him because well he's delicious!"

I just laughed at her. It didn't bother me that she still talked about him like he was a piece of meat. It was just Loren, who would never do anything to hurt me so she would never act on any of her desires toward him. She didn't really want him anyway, just liked to look. Any other woman though had it coming. Pregnancy made me mean (insert a lioness roar here). There were far too many times I had to forcefully remove a woman's hand from my boyfriend's body. Every time he would look at me like he was highly uncomfortable, trying to get away from them. I just finished the deed. They almost always got the message.

"Yeah, she's going to be perfect." I smiled back. "Still I wish she would get her perfect little self here faster! Time is going by so slowly." I looked down at my watch. "Speaking of time, I have to be going. Time to go get ready to attempt to not kill a bitch."

"Well I hope she takes her time, pregnant you is feisty," she laughed, "Want me to hold your earrings?" She joked. I couldn't help but laugh as I got up to leave. She really was the best.

"Are you ready to go, love?" Draco whispered to me. He looked amazing in the almost causal suit he wore.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I wasn't dressed nearly as well but there wasn't much I could do with this blimp on the front of me.

"How's my girl doing?" He changed the subject to one that made him happy.

I smiled at him. "She's fussy. Keeps moving and kicking all over the place. She probably knows I'm nervous." I smiled sheepishly.

"Don't be, I got this in the bag." He smirked at me.

For some reason I just wasn't so sure.

The case started off with Vivian going on and on about how she had to fight off Draco many times. She cried through most of it but anyone with a brain could see she was faking. No one cried that prettily. No red blotches or running makeup? Yeah, faking it. She even went as far as saying she was scared to say anything at first because she was so scared of him. She mentioned how he was a deatheater and that he had probably murdered before and she didn't want to be his next victim. Anyone that actually knew Draco wouldn't believe those lies...but with the way the jury was sympathizing with her I was actually worried.

Finally the judge turned to Draco. "And what's your side of the story?" I could practically see him roll his eyes. This was just too one sided!

He fought all of her points. Wrapping up his side very nicely. When he finished the judge didn't look too impressed. "Ms. Moss has actually come on to me on many occasions. I have made it crystal clear that I am not interested. I have a very wonderful girlfriend, who is my other half. Why would I screw that up?" I felt my face warm at his statement.

"So you have never been the one to start anything sexual?"

"Never." He stated point blank.

"Ms. Moss is there anything you would like to add.

I caught a glimpse of a sinister smile play on her lips. She quickly changed her facial features to one of concern. "I think all the proof you need is right here." She waved a picture at the judge.

"What is that?" He questioned.

"An ultrasound. It turns out I'm pregnant." She beamed. That one floored me. Pregnant? Fucking pregnant?!

"You have got to be kidding me?!" Draco screamed.

"Mr. Malfoy." The judge warned.

"Obviously Ms. Moss here has never had 'the talk' because she clearly doesn't know how babies are made. We have never done anything together that would result in a baby. Never." Draco kept on talking.

"So you deny that the baby is yours."

"Clearly." He spat.

"Would you be willing to take a paternity test?" The judge asked again.

"Every damn one of them." He growled. "That thing inside her is not mine." I squirmed a little at the way he just called a baby a thing. Sophia must have heard it too. She kicked violently at my ribcage.

I whispered softly. "Not you little one, he loves you." I smiled down at my stomach as I rubbed it soothingly, and just like that she stopped. Which I was very thankful for. It really was like she already knew, too smart for her capabilities. Granted she did have my genes.

"Well it looks like we have some things to consider. I think we should take a five minute recess." The judge said.

When we got out to the hallway Draco rounded on her. "You know for a fact that baby isn't mine. I will take any and all DNA tests to prove that. I wouldn't touch you."

She shrugged. "Eh, maybe it isn't but I know you have a thing for pregnant chicks. Especially when the baby isn't even yours." She laughed.

Draco was about to speak when a very gruff voice boomed through out the marble hallway, echoing back. "That's enough Vivian!" We all turned to look at the man who had scared us all stiff. He was a huge, very attractive older man. Maybe his late sixties. Though he may have been older he still looked like he would be able to fight off a whole mob of men. He was glaring at Vivian like she was a worthless, cheap glass of red wine that had stained his best suit.

"D-d-daddy?" Vivian stammered out. This man was her father? Of course it was! I was remembering his name the more I looked at him. Mick Moss. He was a very famous deatheater. He wasn't there to serve his "Lord" though, he was there because he loved to fight. He hadn't always been that way, if I remembered the story correctly. His wife died when their daughter was eight. It was a tragic accident but Mick never got over it. When his daughter, apparently Vivian, moved to go train her magic ability, he just broke. He had nothing to lose anymore. Which is exactly what made him all the more scary. He didn't care if he lived or died so he put everything he had into his battles, just for the rush.

"And she said she was afraid of me," I heard Draco whisper.

"Don't." He held up one giant hand, the type that looked like it could easy crush your windpipe with no effort. "You are such an embarrassment to this family." I heard her whimper in response. "You do nothing but cause trouble over meaningless bullshit. You're not a little girl anymore. Grow up."

"I know I'm not a little girl! I'm standing up for myself here, Daddy!" She had that stupid baby voice on.

"No you're not. You came here and rattled off some lies to a jury that doesn't know up from down just because they are looking at a pretty girl. A pretty girl who is way to open to showing off her goods." He pointed at her short skirt and very low cut top. "Your mother would be so ashamed, it's probably a good thing she's no longer alive to see you." Vivian whimpered again, tears welling in her eyes.

"This is petty. You're trying to ruin a man's life and career because you didn't get what you wanted. You're spoiled rotten but from now on you're cut off. I can't believe this, I have raised you better than this. It's one thing to embarrass yourself, another thing to embarrass me. Do you know what the men I work with say? Do you?" He was daring her to answer.

She took the bait. "No Daddy...I don't know what they say." She refused to look up from the ground.

"They constantly talk about how easy you are. Do you know one of the guys I work with has slept with you? Do you keep track of that? He called you his easiest conquest yet. I almost killed him, Vivian! I had him inches from death because of him saying that. But it's true because you allow it to be. Tell me little Viv, who's the father of this baby? The real father." She didn't answer. "Vivian." The way he said her name was enough to scare the answer out of her.

"I don't know." She whispered.

"What was that?" He had heard her loud and clear.

"I don't know. I don't know who the father is. It could be a number of people, okay? Is that what you wanted me to say? Did you want me to admit to you that I'm a whore? Because I am! I know that! I hate it but I know who I am."

"It doesn't have to be." Her father's voice had softened considerably. "Viv...you only are who you are. You can change any time you want. Don't be this person. You're so much better than that." Vivian was letting tears fall from her eyes quietly now. Not saying anything yet. His voice was still soft, but firm when he spoke again."Now you know what you're going to do?" She didn't answer. "Answer the question Vivian. What are you going to do to fix this mess you've made?" She just stared at the ground. He sighed, knowing he wasn't going to get an answer from her without a fight. "You're going to march in there and tell them the truth. The entire truth. This can be a clean slate for you Vivian, I suggest you take it. And I do mean it about you being cut off, at least until I see a change. I will not help you in your path of self destruction."

"I can't. I'm in too far." She squeaked out.

He placed a hand on her shoulder. "You're never in too far, I know that well."

-Author's Note-

Hey lovelies! Uh there is no famous death eater named Mick Moss, made him up. I just though it was an interesting take. I think many death eaters aren't one just because they believe everything Voldemort says, but they do it for their family and other various reasons. I just wrote half of the last chapter to this story. Though I think I'm going to put an epilogue at the end too. This just seems crazy to me that this story is coming to an end relevantly soon. Thanks for reading, all of you that have gotten through the first 10 or so chapters without sending me nasty PMs about how bad cheating is and how I'm a terrible person for condoning it in my story, you guys are the best. And I'm just saying...a nice review would make you even better ;)
