Don't you just hate foreign spell check? Hey, sorry this is late, I was going to get it out like beginning to mid week but I had a real hard time writing it, lack of Idea's and with what Idea's I had, lack of inspiration to actually use them. Okay, serious question, is there anyway to make the spell check on this English English. Does anyone want to name the Alchemist in this chapter because he's probably going to get used again? I've toyed with a few names but... Didn't like any of them.

She leant on the wall by the large gates of Windhelm. Sometimes she wondered if it was to over exaggerate the Nord's larger size compared to the other human races or if it had something to do with its giant population that didn't seem to grow but no matter how many times you killed a giant, it didn't seem to shrink either.

Her eyes were closed and her cheeks red from the winds assault. Minutes passed before she raised a hand to dry and chapped lips, letting out a sigh as she healed them from, she didn't know, too many if she was honest, times.

Her whole body was in pain, emotionally, physically, mentally at a push. Pain, as it seemed, was an old friend to her. It was the one thing that she knew would always be there, just one little accident away. It could hurt a person in so many ways, physically you could hurt a person, blemish their skin, break their bones, mentally you could cause them trauma, have things haunt their nightmares. Emotionally, now hurting someone emotionally, in Arrow's opinion was the worst thing you could do. Then again it could be caused by other things, Arrow knew that first hand.

"Sorry I'm late lass." A voice said, she opened her bright green eyes and sighed at the approaching man. The darkness, wind and snow prevented her from seeing him properly but she could hear the sound of his footsteps slow as he got closer to her.

"Sorry won't bring the time back." She said as she crossed her arms, and walked through the gates and across that grand stone bridge that ran far above that near frozen river.

The cold breeze bit at them, chilling them to the very bone but neither complained or even made a comment of it.

Tristyn watched Arrow as she walked, she could feel his eyes on her. She turned and looked at him.

"Do you require something?"

"No lass, just mulling over some things." He said brushing off her comment and gave a shrug and a half smile.

"Like what?" She asked.

"Why do you care?" He asked.

"I'm trying to make conversation and seriously failing." She gave a small laugh but quickly let it dissipate.

"I was wondering if Arrow was even your real name." He said with a shrug. "Just bored I guess."

"No, it's not." She sighed. "Well, at least it's not my birth name."

"Change your name when you bailed from the Imperial City?" He asked.

"No... It's been my name since I started service to the empire apparently my name just wasn't good enough so I needed a code name." She let out a deep breath. "Your brother didn't even know my birth name."

"So... what is it?"

"I'm not some demon where if you have my true name you control me." She said looking at him with a slight smirk. "Alexandra Erin Storm."

"Alexandra..." He let the name roll off his tongue. "I can see where Arrow came from lass but Seven?" He said, clicking his tongue.

"Seven Deadly Sins."
"Ain't that superstition?"

"Does it matter?" She asked. "So, this Alchemist, is he some raving idiot that's mind got addled in some potion making?" When only silenced responded she sighed. "My Alchemist professor... well... I'm not very good at alchemy."

Tristyn patted her on the shoulder and took the lead.

The walked for another day or so, before he turned and looked at her, in the pouring rain with a smirk. "Three more hours okay Alex?" She cringed at the use of the name.

"Lay off." She growled out at him half heartedly. She was cold, wet and bored to hell.

The journey had no fights in it except for the occasional wolf, no nothing, not even one dragon. It surprised her how much she missed these little fights, they were her way of forgetting for a moment who she was, it was just her and the enemy, nothing else mattered.

"It's such a pretty name... then again it doesn't suit you." He half expected a punch to come his way but Arrow just sighed.

"You really know how to hit on the ladies." She sighed but then offered a smirk of her own. "Arrow Seven Storm kind of has this deadly ring to it, Alexandra Erin Storm makes me sound like some noble woman."
"I can tell you're not." Tristyn said as he walked away leaving Arrow muttering show's what you know.

They stopped by a cabin.

"This is it." He said.

Arrow raised an eyebrow at the growing moss on the cabin and the dirty windows, the cabin, at least on the outside, was anything but kept. She assumed it was some old man, who indeed gone crazy, it's what the outside of the house told her and judging by the ingredients the grew around the house, which were clearly planted but with no obvious order, she'd say he'd also forgone looking presentable.

Tristyn raised his hand and rapped his knuckles against the damp wood. The door opened moments after with a tall young blonde standing at the doorway, at first he looked confused but then he smiled.

"Tristyn, do you need another potion?" He asked as he ushered the two travellers in.

"She needs you for something." Tristyn said as he pointed towards Arrow who glowered at Tristyn. He moved to lean against the wall where he watched Arrow.

"You're sleeping potion sucked." Arrow said suddenly, finding herself uncomfortable underneath the blonde's gaze.

"What, did Tristyn get it for you, what was wrong with it?" The blonde began to search through large piles of books, turning his tidy cabin into an untidy cabin.

"I didn't get it for her... I used it on the blasted woman." Tristyn grumbled.

"So what was wrong with it? Didn't she get knocked out, was there some awful side effect, you're looking very beautiful if you don't mind me saying." At that point Arrow was sure whether to blush or hit him.

"Nah, she was out for about an hour." Tristyn said with a shrug.

"That's because I had an allergic reaction you f-"

"Please no swearing." The blonde blurted out.

"Fine." She said as she pulled out the vial of liquid of her pocket and handed it to the blonde. "Do you know what this is? It fell out of the hilt of my father's sword."

"Who was your father?" He asked as he held the liquid to the light.

"Cassius Storm." Arrow said.

"I made this for the same man who owned the sword." The blonde said with a smile. "He said it was to kill his greatest enemy."

"Oh fuck..." Arrow said, wide eyed.

"Language please, it isn't becoming for such a pretty lady to swear." The blonde said. "... Now I'm curious, what's the big deal about it?"

"... My father tried to kill the emperor."
"I thought one of his... oh." The blonde bit his lip. "I'll leave you two for a moment; I'll whip up a better sleeping potion." He said as he bustled into another room.

"There's no need." Arrow said but her words fell on deaf ears.

"So... daddy issues, huh?" Tristyn asked. "Now the question is, what did the Imperial Soldiers want from you?"

"... Either to kill me or pardon me." Her voice trailed off.

"Why would they want you though? You were just a simple solider." Tristyn said. "Right?"
"... No... no I wasn't." She said with a shrug and leant against the wall next to him. "I was... one of his personal protectors, you know, the mage?" She sighed as he nodded slowly. "You brother was the other one... everything was... pretty decent until... I was accused of treason - high treason. I fled and then they killed my father... I hated them for it but I guess my father paid for his crimes."
"... So my brother was a rich man?" Tristyn asked.

"He was nothing but a peasant and he kept to that life, he didn't want money or glory, he just wanted to serve, that was his purpose." She slid down the wall and sighed. "He was... such an honourable man." She smiled a little. "... I was used to the richest, the pleasant things in life. It didn't make me happy... but he was happy... or at least content."

"So you're telling me my brother was a man who could have had it all but didn't take it?" Tristyn asked and almost laughed is disbelief. "Honourable perhaps but foolish without doubt.

"I was the foolish one." She said as she pulled her knees up to her chest. "To think I could ever be happy with him, have a life with him." She stood. "... They say loneliness is a curse, right? What happens if love is the curse?"

Tristyn put his hand on her shoulder. "Are you going to go back?"

"Fuck no."
"Again with the swearing!" The blonde said as he walked back in, handing Tristyn two potions. "One for you and one for her when she controls that potty mouth of hers."

"... You're insane." Arrow said.

"No, I am a simple Alchemist." The blonde said and shook her hand. "And you are?"
"Alex." Tristyn said with a smirk before Arrow could answer.

"Short for anything?"

"Alexandra."
"Such a pretty name, come visit again." He said as he did everything but shoved them out of the door.

"... Not crazy?" Arrow asked.

"A little eccentric, but it's refreshing."

"You aren't going to use that sleeping potion on me, are you?" Arrow asked as she watched him tuck the potions into his pocket.

"Well, let's go for a drink." He said as he put his arm over her shoulder.

***** (Okay, this wasn't long enough to put as it's own chapter so It got it's own little feature here)

"I don't get you." Arrow said as she took a sip from her mead, putting up all barriers she had against poison.

"What's to get?" Tristyn said with a smirk. "I like money, women and my drink."

"I had all the money, men and alcohol I could have wanted and it never made me happy." She said with sigh. "Well, I'd kill whoever said money can't buy happiness." Tristyn smirked and let out a chuckle.

He reached across the table and put his hand on her arm. "Just you wait lass; you'll find something that can make you happy."
"I might just buy myself a pet since Axel took Hope from me." Arrow said with a sigh.

"Axel?" Tristyn prompted.

"You know the mage kid in the castle that's the only mage Galmar will tolerate." Tristyn just shrugged. "My baby brother."
"So, about stealing this stone back, what's your plan?" Tristyn asked.

"That's where you lad come in." She said with a smirk and his face dropped. "I wouldn't trust you to formulate a good plan for such a delicate matter even if my life depended on it. I used to sleep with a Thalmor and he owes me a couple favours. We start there."

"So we're going to ask a Thalmor to give us information which means loss for his side?" Tristyn asked very unconvinced.

"Well... more like pretend I want to sleep with him again, get him to a secluded spot...my house in Markarth... which I've only just found out I own. We'll grab him and torture him." Her fist slammed into the palm of her hand. "Put him to an inch of his life."
"... You have issues."

"I don't usually torture people; Tacitus wouldn't let me do it." She said with a slight pout. "He never let me have any fun."

"You're sick in the head."
"No, I'm just very pissed that I can't get drunk because you're a dickhead."

So anyway, hope you enjoyed. There's probably a few mistakes because I've injured my wrists (both of them!) and they're not up to sitting and editing and other stuff. They hurt now...
