The Cursed Sword!
"Wake up Shunsui. Come now wake up," said someone shaking a teen looking Kyōraku . He wake up to see a young woman and said, "Good morning, sis."
A little while back, both Gremmy and Shaz were watching the battle Lille was having. When he used his Sabaki no Kōmoyō (Ray of Judgement) the second time, the blast shot right at Gremmy's barrier and pieced right through it.
Gremmy was able to dodge the long thin blast and said, "Dang that Lille and they called me uncontrollable. He's being reckless." Gremmy look to check on Shaz, but he wasn't lucky as Shaz's completely right side of his body was completely vaporized. However, Gremmy didn't seen worry about him at all.
Soon reishi was started to be collect and when to Shaz. Soon Shaz reform everything he lose and said, "Damn that hurt like hell." "You should be lucky with the power I gave you before you were about to break free from my control," said Gremmy. "After all you the first and only creation of my that had become purely alive."
"Well, what can I say," said Shaz. "That power of 'the Viability' allow me to regenerate myself also long a part of my mind is still intact. I'm basically can never be killed that easy, but still hurt very much still."
Both turn to the fight see Lille just floating in the sky and look over to their direction. "So Gremmy Thoumeaux and Shaz Domino are still alive? I deal with them after I finish of this Soul Reapers," said Lille. "Anyway they're gone. Where could they be hiding?"
Lille the expand his head and his eyes were moving all around until he found where they were hiding. "Ahh, I see over there," said Lille looking down at the shadow and deflating his head to normal. "Now I get it, this Kageoni can remain within a shadow for quite some time apparently. Well, in the case, I wonder what would happen if I simply erased all the shadows from the ground?"
Lille created a large ball of light. However, out of the shadow at the brim of his beak was Nanao holding something wrapped up.
"Kyōkotsu? What is this?" asked Nanao. "I always knew that Katen Kyōkotsu could split up into Katen and Kyōkotsu, but... So then she, Kyōkotsu is my Zanpakuto?"
"Well, yes, but that's not exactly all there is to it," said Kyōraku. "You see Flower gave birth to Lunatic in order to hide your Zanpakuto. This was done at your mother's behest Nanao." "But... But Why?" asked Nanao.
"The House of Ise is and always has been a lineage of females. As far back as our records exist, there have only been women born to it," said Kyōraku. "That why they always have to search for husbands from outside the family, but all the men that marry into the Ise House are all said to be stricken with the curse of Ise and die early deaths. There are, of course, many people who think that all this curse business is nonsense, but she definitely didn't think that way. She wanted to sever herself from that legend and was prepared to end the Ise bloodline by leaving the family and marrying outside, but ultimately her husband also passed away soon after. She was my older bother's wife. My brother and I didn't exactly get along all that well, but after she arrived, think between us began to change for the better. Visiting my brother's home became a thing of serenity and comfort. I found myself visiting more and more often and taking afternoon naps on the porch, but then my brother died. When the man of the House dies, it is common in noble families for his wife to sever ties with the husband's family and return to her original house and thus, she returned to the Ise House. Yes, she who had resolved to throw away her our house in the end, could not escape form it after all."
Kyōraku then remembered something Nanao's mother once said," It's as I always suspected. A woman of Ise cannot escape from the Ise House, nor from the curse of Ise. Maybe the root of all of that is this very sword."
"She was desperate to free the daughter she'd given birth to from the clutches of this curse," said Kyōraku. "So that sword, she entrusted unto me. Hoping the Lunatic, who loved hide and seek could find a place to conceal its whereabouts."
Nanao look to Kyōkotsu and said her reached into her face and pulled out the wrapped up sword.
Nanao was above Lille and he said shocked, "You actually managed to come out of a shadow as small as this?" He strike at her, but used the wrapped up sword to block it, thought the wrapping around it were starting to rip away.
"I'm well awake Head Captain of your strong desire not to hand this sword over to me," said Nanao, since is was hold the wrapped up sword with on hand, but Kyōraku had one hand on it too not really want to give it to her. "Was that truly for my own sake? Just as my mother's own will was to turn her back on this curse and throw it away I, too, have my own will. I've decided to embrace every bit of this curse and besides, even if I welcome this curse with open arms, it's possible... rather somehow, I just know that person I adore wouls just look at this entire situation and laugh. Calling curses nothing more than silly superstition."
Kyōraku was surprised at first, but smiled and let go of the sword. "Fine I get it. Take It." With that sword, I'm sure you'll have no problem."
Nanao land back on a roof and Lille said, "What's this? It appears as though the only one to show themselves is the aide? So you really think one single aide alone can stand up to me?" Then all the wrapping around Nanao's Zanpakuto were ripped away.
"The Ise House is a lineage of Shinto priests. Carrying out and governing rituals and rites. We individually do not possess a Zanpakuto," thought Nanao. "The head of the house inherited and passes on this one single Zanpakuto. This sword, which was used for rituals and rites, have no blade and as such, is a sword that cannot strike a person down. Rather it was made to face off again Gods. To take the power of a God into its own body and disperse it into the eight directions."
"It goes my the name of Shinken Hakkyōken! (Divine Eight Mirror Sword)" said Kyōraku.
Nanao held her shikai and it takes the form of an ornate medium-sized bladeless sword with a flat end. Its "blade" is decorated with four inlaid diamonds on both side, resembling the design commonly found on the wrapped hilt of a katana, and its forte possesses a tassel on either side. Instead of a tsuba, there is a ornate band guard covering an inch of the blade with tassels hanging from either side of it. The handle of it is only somewhat shorter than the "blade", and possesses two tassels attached to the ring at its end.
"Hmm, What is that sword?" asked Lille as all he can see is a bright light. "That's quite the tacky, shiny sword you have there. It shines so brightly one cannot even see the blade. What an eyesore."
"Is that so? I'm glad," said Nanao. "This sword reflects the ability of the God it is facing off against. If it is reflecting the light from your eyes that means it is diffusing the light your are emanating."
"Uhhh? I do not understand what you are implying," said Lille. "Thought it does not displease me to be referred to as a God." Nanao jump forward and when at Lille.
"I cannot possibly accept such an important item as this," Nanao's mother. "This is something that will not respond except to thise of the Ise House. No misfortune will befall you for having this. Beside those of the Ise House you are the only one I can trust. So please, I implore you."
She was giving Kyōraku the Ise family Zanpakuto, while listening to her mother was a young Nanao hiding.
'The first think I noticed were the hairpins,' thought Nanao. 'I know that guy I hear he's a squad captain of the 13 Court Guard Squads and he's come to pay a vist to the academy headmaster.' Nanao was now a student. 'Upon hearing that, I turned and watched his back from afar. He was always cloaked in an ostentatious woman's kimono, but because it was such a common pattern that one could find just about anywhere. The only sentiment I felt towards it was "Ak, mother had a kimono quite similar to his." But those hairpins, they were just like my mother's.'
Nanao was look at the board that have name of all the student's names and which squad they were put in. Nanao was surprised because she was put into Squad 8. She then told a very kind elderly couple that she lived with and they were very pound of her.
'Immediately after my mother passes way I was taken in by an elderly couple. They were a relative of the Ise family, but I had never met them until then. Even so, they treated me as if I was their own daughter. Upon entering Shin'ou Academy, I couldn't make the Asauchi that was provided to become my own. However, my talents in Kido were recognized and I was able to take the squad entrance exam fairly quickly. I was without a Zanpakuto, I thought, however, I could somehow make it with the Kido Corps and thus put forth my assignment preferences in my application. Somehow, I was assigned to Squad Eight.'
In the Squad eight Barracks, Kyōraku enter and said, "Hello, I'm the Captain, Shunsui Kyōraku. I'm very cordial to the young women, so there's no need to fret. I'm rather indifferent about the guys thought." This just make the new guys that joined look at him annoyed.
'Ah, It's that person the hairpins. However, when I saw you after I join Squad Eight, You changed your Haori and removed your hairpins. It was then I was certain. Yea, this is the one. This is the person whom my mother entrusted something precious to. It was him!'
"Do you plan to cut me down with that sword?" asked Lille. "So bit it, I'd like to see you try. There exists no such sword anywhere that can..."
Then Nanao strike, but Lille blocked it with his arm. The blades then sliced his hand off as the reiatsu burst off and Lille's right hand was lost to him. "He parried it," thought Nanao. "I thought I'd caught him off guard."
Lille chuckled a bit and look at this missing hand and said, "I thought you has a rather peculiar sword, but now that I inspect it closely, it doesn't even have a blade. For you to come slashing forth with a sword such as this, is a daring gambit indeed. I never imagined that you would actually be able to cut me. Either way this is the end for you." Lille held his other hand up and started to gather reishi all around him. "This will be the very last think you see. You wasted you one opportunity to kill me. For I will never again let my guard down as a commissary of God!"
Nanao look up in shock, while Kyōraku was having most inner thought and remember things too. "I had always blamed myself."
"Execution!" asked Kyōraku when in was more of a young man still not a Captain yet with Ukitake the same too. "Yea, the Central 46 appeared to have made their ruling on the changes relating to the loss of the sacred treasures and the execution was held yesterday."
Kyōraku flown here the dead of Nanao's mom for Ukitake and he asked, "Sorry, maybe I should have kelp it to myself."
"No, I'd much rather hear in sooner rather than later," said Kyōraku. "Thank you."
"It's all my fault," Kyōraku remember his older bother on his death bed and give him on of the hairpin he wears now. "Why is I that all those around me keep entrusting their most precious belonging to me and pass away? It's a heavy burden and one most difficult to bear. Nanao I... forgive me for taking charge of this sword once again. Nanao, I beg of you that this weight off my shoulders. Please allow me... allow me to protect you."
Coming out of Nanao's shadow behind her was Kyōraku and he grabbed onto Nanao's arm and said, "Let's go Nanao."
"Huh? Just one is fine? Why?" asked Kyōraku's older brother. "I want you to take the other one," said Nanao's mother. "When I'm suppressing Hollows and you're not around, knowing you're holding onto one of them same things I am it inspires me and keeps me strong.
Kyōraku's brother blushed a bit, while Kyōraku was of to the side make faces. "What the Hell is that face about?" asked Kyōraku's brother after headbutting Kyōraku. "Go home and study or something, you frickin moron."
"Brother, you've really mellowed in your old age haven't you?" asked Kyōraku. "It no like I made a concious effort to change," said Kyōraku's brother. "But it it look like I've grown calm and content. It's only because her kindness is finally beginning to show through on me."
Kyōraku's brother watch as his wife walked away. Kyōraku just smile feel like things were getting better.
A few minute back after Nanao slice of Lille hand. She land on a building and was sweating and shaking. "I had no idea fighting with a sword could be this frightening." She held her Zanpakuto in her hands before her, but was shaking and breathing hard. She looked down at her left legs to see it was cut and bleeding. "It's already cut me, the light that burst out just now probably caused the injury. It hurts, I didn't know being cut would hurt this much. It hurts, I'm so scared. My feet, they won't budge."
Then Kyōraku appeared behind her and grabbed onto her hand. This surprised Nanao and thought, Head Captain!"
Meanwhile, Lille was still collect a huge amount of reishi and look down and said, "Hmm, So now your decide to come out and play. Now pathetic hiding behind your own subordinate. What a sad excuse for a Head Captain."
Lille form an enormous trumpet with a wing-like appendage on top in the air above him. "Now listen to the sound of my Trompete (Trumpet) and perish!"
"Let's go Nanao," said Kyōraku. "Don't worry, I'll always be right behind you."
Nanao closed her eyes and thought, "Yes, the Head Captain's compassion it's almost as if it's flowing outwards. I had returned to provide support for the Head Captain, but in the end, he's the one supporting me. Me who can't even stand on her own two feet. Me who he's always supported." Nanao got her confined back and was ready.
Lille unleashed his attack and near destroy all of the one point of the Wahrwelt and leaving only 25% of that point left. Both Gremmy and Shaz were just barley about to escape the attack. Thought Shaz did lose both of his legs. "Damn It! Why does this alway have to happen?" Shaz gather reishi and reformed his legs.
However, Lille then lost the right half of his body. He look down to see both Kyōraku and Nanao stand of a slither remain of the area. Nanao held her Zanpakuto before herself and reflected the part of the attack Lille used back at him.
Lille didn't seen fazed at all and held his one remaining hand over the part of his missing head. "Hmm, Ahh, I see. 'It reflects the ability of the God it is facing.' You mentioned something of the sort if memory serves me right," said Lille chuckling and his body started to break apart.
"To claim to be able to brush away the power of a God. Such a preposterous pretense is a Grave Sin indeed." Lille body the shattered apart as it rain down as reishi and all that was left of him were his eight wings.

Well, everyone I hope this chapter was good too. Learning about Kyōraku's and Nanao's past. So is Lille finally dead? I have no idea, but I I hope he is because I would really like to get to Askin and Gerard because maybe they can be saved in the end and switch, since until the go through something Lille did and lose their humanity, I hope not. So please like and review like away and I work on the next chapter after the next three week past by and new manga chapters are release to change, alter, or add it. I just happy I was about to show off Shaz's power some, because the power to regenerate as along as a piece of her mind still remain is awesome.
