"Chi-chi wake up now." Chi-chi heard the sharp whisper command her. It sounded a lot like Goku.

Slowly, she got up, and rubbed her eyes feeling a little dazed. "What's wrong?" Trying to blink the sleep out of her eyes, she saw that it was darkened all around them. There was still a tint of light blended in with it, so it must have been some time in the evening.

Unless... it was very early in the morning! Suddenly feeling more awake, she started to freak out a little. Had they been asleep all day? How was she going to explain this to her father?

Turning to Goku, she was about to ask him for help, when she saw a really suspicious look on him. She opened her mouth, planning on ask him what was wrong, but he must of sensed it because he quickly put his arm out, signaling for her to stay quiet.

Chi-chi saw him closing his eyes like he was trying to concentrate on something. She didn't see how it would help, but she figured it had something to do with his training.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes and smirked. "There's no point in hiding anymore. I can sense you guys, so why don't you come on out." He said as he stood up. He offered his hand to Chi-chi, and she got up after him.

Chi-chi silently waited for someone to reveal themselves. Her heart was beating fast at the possibility of it being a strong opponent who had been watching them from the distance. She moved closer to Goku till she was lightly touching his back.

It must have not been that light though since Goku turned his head to face her. He raised an eyebrow to her, and she couldn't help but return a similar look of confusion to him. Why was he looking at her weirdly?

He said nothing to her though and instead turned back to the front of them. Seconds later, three different people revealed themselves to them. Two of them looked like the stereotypical aliens, with weird shape heads and colorful skin, while the other one had more of a humanoid appearance. He still had a weird shape head himself though.

There was a blue-skinned one standing a couple feet away, towards the right of them. The humanoid one with long brown hair was standing on the left side of them, and directly in front of them, was a short purplish one.

"So, Frieza sent you guys to spy on me and Chi-chi huh?" Goku bluntly asked them.

"You're almost right." The blue one said. He had a slight hiss to his tone as he spoke. "Except Lord Frieza also asked of us to finally get rid of you and that woman!"

Goku got into a fighting stance, and smiled at them. "Well, what are you waiting for then?" He used his hand to motion them near.

Chi-chi watched as the three enemies quickly took Goku on his invitation to fight, and attacked him simultaneously. She closed her eyes waiting for some kind of impact, but instead felt a rush of cold wind hit her face.

Someone grabbed her, which she guess was mostly likely Goku, and moved them both away. Chi-chi had automatically grabbed onto his shirt when he roughly handled her. Before she knew it, she could no longer feel the ground from underneath her, and instead felt completely light.

Quickly opening her eyes, she seen Goku smiling at her innocently. Looking down she seen that the floor, and the enemies were way below them.

Before she had time to scream, Goku started flying again in tremendous speed, and she could do nothing, but hope he didn't drop her. Her stomach dropped as he suddenly stopped flying completely and let them drop in the air.

She finally found her voice, and let a piercing scream rip across the sky as they continued to fall downwards. She felt them come to an abruptly stop when they were only inches away from the ground, before Goku carefully lowered them both.

"Sorry, I forgot how scary flying could be on your first try." Goku said as he steadied her, to stand on her own. "Wait here, while I go take care of those guys." He let her go, and was once again flying in the air, heading back to where Frieza's men were.

Even though she knew he was already gone, she still nodded to him anyways. "Sure." She said shakily before she dropped to the ground. She closed her eyes and tried to stop the dizziness that was currently flooding her senses.

Goku had quickly flown back to the enemies before any of them could try and follow to where he had just dropped Chi-chi off at. Normally, he wouldn't mind her being so close to the fight, but she had been acting weird earlier, so he had thought it would be better to carry her off to a safer location. He was sure the reason she was acting so weird earlier was because she had stopped training. Her usual keen senses were dulled.

Usually, she would have gotten into a fighting position, and prepared for an attack. Instead though she hid behind him, like she was scared of the enemy. It threw him off.

Just how long had she stopped training? It was like she had completely forgot the trained instinct to head for danger instead of running from it. He could be over thinking everything though since she had just woken up.

Either way, she was just going to be an easy target for the enemies if she was close enough. Which is why he had to move her to a safe distance.

"You have balls for coming back." The more human looking one said as Goku lowered himself back on the ground. "You should have ran away with your little girlfriend while you had the chance!"

"I could say the same thing to you." Goku replied referring to the smaller guy next to him.

"Why you!" The brown hair one quickly went after him in anger.

Goku easily blocked the guy's fist using his arm, but the short pink guy came to the side to try and hit him. Goku ducked down while at the same time flipping the other guy, so the pink alien hit him instead.

The shortie starred in shock at his partner, who was currently on the ground knocked out. Goku used the opportunity to use his hand to swiftly hit him on his neck, making him collapse to the ground.

Goku cracked his knuckles and moved his neck around. It was a light workout for him, but it was too short. He had hoped Frieza had sent someone who would have put up more of a fight, so he could test just how far his training had got him.

"Wait, wasn't there one more guy?" He thought out loud. "Shit." He cursed before racing towards the place he left Chi-chi at.

Meanwhile, Chi-chi was still on the ground trying to control everything from moving around. If this didn't stop soon, she was probably going to vomit.

She picked herself from the ground, and forced herself to sit up instead of just laying on the dirt. Even closing her eyes wasn't helping her. She could still feel everything around her shifting.

She placed a cool hand against her forehead, and felt the cold sweat that had built up. Even though she wasn't exactly in the best shape right now, her ears still managed to pick up a slight noise from the back of her. It sounded like someone stepped on a branch, but immediately after that slight noise, silence entered her ears once again.

For a quick second she thought it was the enemy, but then canceled that idea out immediately. Goku was currently taking care of them, and she was sure, even if there was three of them, he had no problem taking them all out.

Which probably meant it was most likely Goku. Right when she thought about calling his name out to make sure, she stopped herself. Why would Goku just suddenly stop making noise, like if he was afraid she heard him. There was no reason for him to do that. Plus, she was pretty sure he would have come back flying.

The dreaded paranoia came back for a second, but then she tried to rationalize within her mind. It could have been some kind of animal.

Either way, her gut feeling was telling her it was not Goku, and she had to get up on her feet now. Shakily standing up, she hoped if it was an enemy, they didn't noticed her current weak state.

She put her hands up, and got in a fighting stance facing towards the direction she heard the sound from. She noticed though that her hands were slightly shaking. Frowning, she wondered why they were doing that. Was it because of her upset stomach, or was it because she was actually scared?

Not having time to stew on it any longer, her head snapped up when someone jumped out of their hiding spot and laded in front of her.

She yelped in surprise and fell back on her butt. She quickly looked up, and seen the blue-skinned enemy from before smirking at her.

Chi-chi felt her heart racing in fear, and widened her eyes when she seen the guy stick his hand out in front of her face. Soon after, a yellow orb of energy began to form.

Knowing that was an extremely bad sign, and she had to immediately start running, she felt almost stuck to the ground. More than anything she wanted to move away from the enemy, but for some reason, couldn't. Her whole body felt like it suddenly turned to a statue, and she couldn't do anything, but look death straight in the face.

Suddenly something snapped her back to reality, and she let out a noise of protest. In, what felt like a couple of minutes, but was probably only a couple of seconds, the guy let his ki blast go. Without even realizing it, she threw her body away from the line of fire, and rolled a few spaces away.

Once she came to a stop, she only then realized what had just occurred. Touching her face, she made sure she was still here. "I'm alive." She muttered to herself in complete shock.

Her victory was cut short, however, because as soon as she had realized what had happened, her enemy had also realized the same thing. She was still alive.

Not trying to challenge death like last time, Chi-chi stood up, and started to run as fast as her legs could take her. Although she hadn't been keeping up with her training, she was still a really fast girl. If it wasn't for what happened next, she was pretty sure she could have ran all the way till she was in a safe distance.

Unfortunately, luck was not on her side, and her dizziness came back to bite her in the ass. In the speed she was running, the dizziness hit her hard. Her only warning was a throb in her head before it happened.

She could do nothing, but trip over her own feet, and fall down. Although, in some ways she was lucky because the alien guy had already aimed for another energy shot that would have probably hit her if it wasn't for her fall.

Nothing like being in such a dangerous situation to kick your ass back into gear. Effortlessly picking herself up, she ran into the part of woods that had more trees around. At least this way the asshole would stop throwing ki blasts towards her. He wouldn't risk bringing down one of these huge trees on himself.

At least she thought that was a reasonable thought process. Too bad Frieza's men did not come in reasonable! Another blast came close to the right side of her. Going towards more trees was not such a bad idea after all. It was providing her some kind of cover.

After gaining some distance between them, she hid herself behind a tree. She was leaning all her body weight against it, trying to recover her breathing. Finally giving her body a chance to rest, she felt a lot of the bad effects her adrenaline rush had blocked out.

Dizziness and sudden running did not mix well. It certainly didn't help her upset stomach that should have felt better minutes ago. Maybe she had lost him enough to actually take some time to rest. Her legs were killing her.

Sliding down the tree, she sat down on the ground. She could hardly see in front of her anymore. Her guess from earlier that it had been the morning was completely wrong. It must have been sometime in the evening when her and Goku had woken up because instead of the sun rising, it had gone even more down, making it darker.

Now that she thought about it, maybe sitting down to rest wasn't such a good idea. Standing up again, she ignored the burning in her thighs protesting to her to sit back down. She looked around, and tried to spot anything that moved towards her.

It was nerve-wracking because almost anything around her was moving in some way. The darkness and the wind were making her see shadows that were probably not there. She wanted to close her eyes to try and shut it out, but was too scared to even do that.

Out of the corner of her eye, she thought she seen something, and automatically let out a gasp in fear, but it soon turned out to be nothing. Her heart was now speeding up even quicker thanks to that scare.

Her ears strained to hear anything. Any sign of the guy catching up to her. The only thing that met her ears though was the sound of the wind. She wished it could shut up though so that she could hear more clearer.

Suddenly the wind followed her command, and quiet down for a second. She heard nothing except for a slight wheezing sound which confused her. Almost immediately it got louder till a light started to appear.

Once it finally clicked, Chi-chi barely had time to squat down and avoid another ki blast hitting her. It did manage to hit a tree behind her though. It stood still for a second until it seemed to realized a chuck of its trunk was missing, and then started to tip over her direction.

Flinging herself away from the oncoming tree, she rolled around once again until another tree stopped her. She was moving so fast, the force of the tree stopping her, managed to knock the wind out of her. She stayed on the ground trying to blink the stars out of her eyes. That really hurt.

"No where to run now!" The henchman yelled out.

She could hardly focus on anything though and was still dealing with the pain from her side and stomach. She couldn't even lay on the floor because it was pushing into her injury too much. Not wanting to stand up either, she settled for kneeling on her knees and hands. She used one hand to cradle her stomach trying to soothe herself.

"Chi-chi!" She heard her name coming out from the other side of her. It was Goku. The enemy also heard him at the same time so he shot another energy blast towards her.

This time she was sure it was going to reach her, and Goku was not. Not this time. He was to far away, even if he flew here as fast as he could.

She kept her eyes open too tired to do anything, but stare on the oncoming doom heading her way. Before the blast reached her though, she was scooped up, and moved before it could hit.

Her heart almost jumped out of her chest when she seen a yellow blur from underneath her. She had thought it was the blast going past her from underneath, but she quickly realized she was sitting on it.

A soft, yellow familiar cloud had saved her. "Oh thank Kami." She said to herself before she collapsed against it. She was going to just rest for awhile.

The cloud seemed to understand and flew up higher to avoid any dangers from the oncoming fight. Chi-chi was glad to finally relax, but felt her stomach becoming upset again. She hoped the cloud didn't move her too much while they were in the air.

Goku meanwhile, took the chance to seize up his opponent. He didn't seem look like much. He didn't even pack on much muscles. He just looked like a normal skinny, blue-skinned guy.

He knew better than to base all his opponents strength on just looks though. Maybe he would get the work out he wanted. "You're not like the other two, are you?"

"Hmph." The guy let out with a grin. "Do not compare me to those two idiots. I'm on a whole other level from them."

"If that's true, why did you go after Chi-chi then?" Goku asked. "I'm obviously the bigger threat, wouldn't you want to get rid of me first before going after her?"

The guy shook in quiet laughter before he released it in a much more louder, and obnoxious way. "Simpleton, do you really think I'd go for that cliché way of doing things? It would be much easier to go for the weakest one first. After I finished the girl, you would become so distraught, you would let your grief overcome your common sense. It would be then that I would finish you!"

Goku felt an anger flush through his body. This guy was planning to do something Frieza had probably wanted to do. He went after his grandfather, killed him in front of him, and probably planned to kill him next right then and there.

Now this guy wanted to do the same except to Chi-chi. Well, he wouldn't let another person die because of him. Not holding himself back any longer, Goku unleashed multiple ki blast at once. He switched each hand quickly letting all the energy orbs come out in a rapid pace.

Goku watched as the guys eyes suddenly widen in large proportions. He was probably not expecting that much from him.

Before the blasts could reach him though the blue alien quickly released a beam from underneath him, causing him to shoot straight up in the sky. The guys stayed up there breathing in a fast pace, before he looked up and grinned at Goku.

Goku flew up in the air, before heading directly towards him. Before he came close to him though he used the after image technique to disappear from the front of him, and reappear in the back, unoticed. Frieza's spy looked from the either side of him before he turned around, but by then it was already too late.

Goku unleashed another powerful ki blast towards him. The guy seemed to be more skillful than he first thought though because he quickly brought his hands in front of him to block most of the attack. Goku gave him no time though and quickly disappeared again.

The spy looked behind him in panic. He twisted his head to look everywhere else, but could not spot Goku. Using the chance, Goku revealed himself from above, and brought his elbow to strike the blue guy on top of his head. The force caused him to fall straight to the ground like a meteor.

Goku lowered himself to the ground, and felt all of his hair rising to the top from the wind hitting it so much. He landed just inches away from the crater he caused. "Tell Frieza I'm waiting for him." He said before he blasted the guy unconscious.

Goku stared at his unconscious form with a serious expression for a moment before he let out a breath, and let all the seriousness melt off his face.

"Chi-chi?" Goku called out. "Flying Nimbus?"

Soon a golden cloud lowered itself slowly till Chi-chi was in view again. She looked normal except she was laying on the cloud with a pale face. "You okay?"

"Just peachy."

Goku was currently sitting on his own personal flying cloud, as he flew in the direction of his home on it. He had been dreading this moment all day, but he knew it had to be done.

He had to finally return to his home. No longer could he focus completely on training all day, like he had at King Kai's. He would no longer be able to avoid the fact that his grandfather would no longer be there waiting for him.

Sighing to himself he stood up on the cloud. "Guess this is my stop, I'll see you later Nimbus." He said to it before jumping off.

As he landed softly on the ground, he looked at the house in front of them. For some reason he expected it to look different, but everything was the same as it had always been.

What was he about to walk into? A sad and depressing house? An awkward, let's pretend nothing really happened, and be over it kind of house? Or maybe it would be the opposite of those two, and everyone was going to be understanding with each other and be extra cautious about everything.

No matter what scenario he thought would happen, he was sure it was going to be uncomfortable for him. He was never good when it came to dealing with other people's emotions. As a child, he had been to blunt when it came to delicate stuff. He was more aware of other people's feelings now, but that didn't mean he knew how to deal with them.

There was only one way he knew of how to comfort people, and that was by taking care of them. Feelings he couldn't express into words, he would express through his actions.

He knew one thing he couldn't let happen. He couldn't let his family fall apart. Whatever he was about to walk into, he was going to make sure they were all still a family at the end of it. With that in mind, he finally opened the door in front of him.

As he walked in, he seen his brother sitting on the couch. Almost immediately, he jumped out of the couch, and headed towards him. "Where the hell have you been!"

Goku had to back away a little from his brother's sudden closeness. "I was training wi-"

"I mean today! Since the start of school, I've been looking for you everywhere." Raditz stated. He was annoyed by the whole thing. Why should he have to spend his precious time looking for his idiot younger brother, when Goku knew where he was the whole time.

"Chi-chi needed to talk to me, and we ended up accidentally falling asleep. When I woke up, I had to deal with some of Frieza's buddies he had sent my way. If it wasn't for that, I would have been here a lot earlier." Goku lied. Truth was he was planning on staying out that late from the beginning anyways. Raditz didn't need to know that though.

"He sent someone after you? Who was it?" Raditz asked in a more serious manner.

"No one important. I took care of them easily, which probably means Frieza wanted to test exactly how much stronger I got after my training with King Kai." Goku explained.

Raditz nodded. "I should have known the bastard would have done something like that as soon as you came back home." He said. "So that training really helped you then?"

"Of course!" Goku boasted. "Don't be surprise if I finally beat you in a fight."

Raditz chuckled. "Too bad your training didn't teach you to never be too cocky against your enemies."

"I'm not, I'm just telling the truth." Goku replied with a smirk.

Raditz returned the smirk. Goku's confidence in his fighting abilities was just too familiar. It was the same way he, and their father acted. "Well then I guess you'll be happy to learn you'll be testing your strength against a stronger opponent pretty soon."

"What are you talking about?" Goku asked in confusion.

"That's why I was looking for you all day." Raditz revealed. "I was going to tell you we finally found our opening to stop being on the defensive side, and finally go on the offense."

"What are you talking about Raditz?" Goku repeated in irritation. How was he suppose to understand if Raditz was being so vague with his explanations.

"It started around the time you left in the beginning of summer. Me, Maron, Vegeta, and Piccolo got together to come up with some kind of plan to go against Frieza, but he had been laying low all summer, so we couldn't do anything. We could have went straight to his usual hangout, but even with all of us we would have been easily beaten." Raditz said.

"We kind of gave up after that, and focused on our training. It wasn't till yesterday we finally got a clue on where one of Frieza's more tougher big shots hung out at." Raditz informed him. "Do you wanna-"

"I'm in." Goku immediately agreed. He had been waiting for an opportunity like this to present itself. Good thing Raditz was his brother. When that guy wanted results, he always knew ways of getting them.

Raditz confidently smiled at him. "Looks like we really are brothers." He joked. "I'll inform the rest of the gang later then. Vegeta and Piccolo are definitely going to want to go with us, but I'm not sure how the rest of the gang will feel about it."

Goku nodded in agreement but stopped when he realized something. "Wait, who exactly is the big shot guy anyways? Is it Cell? Broly? Some new guy I don't know about?"

Raditz put his arm around Goku. "I think I leave you hanging on that. Think of it as revenge for avoiding me all day, and making me look for you."

Goku sighed in disappointment. Guess he deserved that one. If he thought about the big picture, this was probably the best outcome he could hope for. He expected more yelling when he had finally returned home.

Raditz put his hand on his chin. "Now that I think about it though I might be going a little to easy on you little brother." He said as he guided Goku towards a certain direction.

"W-What do you mean?" Goku asked nervously.

Raditz grinned in evil amusement. He then shoved Goku into the kitchen. Goku stumbled into it, almost falling to his face from the sudden movement.

"What the hell was that far?" Goku complained to him. Not two seconds later did he hear some kind of dish fall to the floor, and break.

"G-Goku?" Goku heard his mother shakily say.

His spine automatically straightened up as he slowly turned around to face her. She was looking at him with surprise laced in her features. His father was close by sitting on table. He was also wearing a similar expression as his mother, but it quickly got replaced by a serious expression.

Bardock stood up from his chair, and Goku back up a little. "Uh, h-hey guys."

Raditz, who was listening from outside the kitchen began to back away as soon as he heard both his parents explode with anger. He hummed to himself as he went up to his room. Now that was revenge.

Well, didn't mean for that update to take so long. Sorry guys! I forgot to remind you guys about my birthday, and my father's death anniversary thing. Not only was I busy with that, but I also had to help out with, and attend, a double baby shower my mom was in charge of creating. After such a long break, I kind of forgot how to write. You guys should see the rough draft of this chapter. It was pretty awful haha.

Also before I forget, I've been thinking, maybe when I'm close to finishing this story, I should start with another. I already have an idea for two of them. Tell me what you guys think!

Question: Who do you think the gang is going to fight? I-I totally have it planned already, so I obviously know... haha... but you guys should still tell me who you would like it to be... ^-^

SuperSaiyanKnight: I've been wanting him to appear for so long already that I was super excited when I finally introduced him! I think I might have rushed over that part because of that haha And don't worry, I can still add that. I'm not good with those kind of jokes though xD Any ideas for the joke I should use?

LA-HIJA-DE-MILK: Thank you! c: Sorry for the wait though! Hope you liked it.

hayabusa girl: Thanks! Sounds like a fun Valentine's day haha I've been in both sides of the situation before. People can't spell my name right, and I suck at spelling other people's names xD I hope you got your candy! Haha

A dbz fan: I know right? Lol I was so mean for that! Don't worry, I'll make up for it soon... probably. ;P

No name: Haha I understand what you mean. This is all for the plot though *Wink Wink* I also love Chi-Chi being a badass. I don't want to spoil anything though so I'll just leave it at that. Haha I love reading rants anyways, so no problem!

Cloud9: Thank you! Haha I was hoping no one expected him to show up! Lol true! Don't worry, I love happy stories too! I don't like when they leave it with sad endings :o

O.O sitting on da bus: Lol unique name you got there. Were you sitting on the bus when you reviewed? :oo? Haha and you were right! Mama Gine did indeed greet him like that. Hoped you liked it! It was a fun scene to write :DD

I want to thank everyone for the reviews! They were so rewarding to read during my birthday! Thank you for the Favorites and Follows too! Always love seeing any sign that people are enjoying the story! ^-^3
