Morgenstern and Herondale

I wondered aimlessly through the house, flipping on random lights and padding silently through rooms. Jace was still in the bathroom doing god knows what—probably sulking—and I was stuck here, bored out of my brains. I skipped into the kitchen and searched the cupboard for some pain killers. My stomach was beginning to gain that horrible ache and healing runes never worked.

I groaned. No medication. Stupid parents!

Clutching my tummy, I limped into the living room and collapsed onto the sofa. I was still in my nightie but who cares? I hummed angrily at the dull ache.

Jace quietly shuffled into the room, still not dressed dammit! I averted my eyes as he sunk calmly beside me and snaked an arm around my shoulder. "What's wrong?" Jace murmured to me, making me look at him.

"Nothing." I huffed and looked away. I was gonna snap if he wouldn't leave me alone!

"Baby, tell me what's wrong?"

I growled and grabbed Jace's arm, unwrapping it from my shoulder. Quickly, I pushed against his chest and shoved him away. I crossed my arms sulkily. "There is nothing wrong!" I shouted.

Jace's eyes widened. "There obviously is. Don't get all moody with me!"

I rolled my eyes and looked away, turning my whole body away from him. I could feel his arms slither around my waist and he yanked me backwards, pulling me with my back against his chest, between his legs.

He leaned forwards, his breath tickling my ear. "Are you okay?" he asked, slightly puzzled. "If you don't tell me what's wrong, I'll have to find out." Jace's hands smoothed over my arms, prodding and poking. "Hmm…not there then." His fingers traced across my collarbone and touched my shoulders.

"Stop it!" I growled. Jace's hands travelled to my ribs and I slapped him away. "Quit it!" His hands slithered down to my waist. "Jace!"

"What?" he huffed, suddenly wrapping his arms around my and crushing me to his chest. "I need to know what's wrong with you." I just rolled my eyes and shook my head incredulously.

"There. Is. Nothing. Wrong."

"There. Obviously. Is." Jace whispered back, tickling my ear and stirring my curls.

I swore and wriggled and squirmed around in his strong tanned arms. I groaned and finally gave up, sinking back and leaning against his chest. I could feel his steady breathing ricocheting through my body. I began counting to ten slowly, attempting to calm myself. It didn't help that he was only in his boxers! I shivered when I felt his lips press against my shoulder and all the way to my neck. "Jace, if you want to become a woman by today, keep kissing me." His lips stopped and I felt him squirm uncomfortably.

"Why don't you tell me, baby?" Jace soothed quietly. I just shook my head and rolled my eyes. "I won't keep asking then." He released me and spun me around so I faced him. "I won't pressure you then. But you should tell me." Before I could even think for a smartass reply, I was suddenly being carried in his arms.

"Jaceeeee. Put me down!" I squealed. He carried me into the bathroom and set me on the floor. I shifted, embarrassed to be in my nighty. "Why am I in here?"

Jace shrugged. "Thought I was gonna dress you."

I blanched in disgust. "You are not dressing me! And besides," I crossed my arms. "Our clothes are not in the bathroom, idiot."

"Oh yeah." Jace grinned and launched himself at me, scooping me up again and jogging into the bedroom. He kicked open the door and flung me effortlessly onto the tangled bed. "There we are, baby. What clothes should we wear today?" Jace skipped to the wardrobe and began searching through the clothes. Great.

I apologise, it's been so long since I've not updated. My schedule has been jam-packed with homework and school exams. I apologise!
