No Slash or romance, sorry everyone but I don't write those, will be Sonic centered but I will try other characters sometimes.

36. Author announcement

Hey everyone. I know lots of people will be disappointed that this isn't a new chapter but there are things that need to be said before I continue on with not only this series but with all my works and my life in general. What I'm about to say, I'm not doing it for attention or reads or because I want sympathy. I'm doing it for myself and because I want others out there who are going through what I am to know that they aren't alone and that they can talk to me if needed.

Now, Some of you may have noticed that a small change has occurred with my username, and that small change is just one little letter. Before, my username was merlinfrostG but now it is merlinfrostE and there is a good reason for the little change. When I first joined fanfiction I decided to put the G at the end of my username to represent my real name. The reason for it changing is because I will be changing my legal name and it will no longer start with a G but an E. And the reason for why I'll be changing my name is because I am Transgender.

Since I started writing here I've used female pro-nouns. It's only been in the last year that I've discovered that being referred to in such a way and hearing my birth name is not how I want to be known as. So from now on I'll be using he/him when referencing myself and would appreciate it if you as my readers would do them same. Now I know some of you will not approve, I know I'll get hate comments and such but honestly, I don't care because those people don't matter to me. The ones who do matter are the ones who accept me and love my for who I am.

This is going to be a long hard road for me filled with ups and downs but I am more ready for this than anything else in my life and I just want to thank everyone who has stuck by me through everything that has happened to me in the last 4 years. You guys helped me through some of the hardest times in my life such as the passing of my Grandmother or when I moved states. I hope you'll all stick by me now and continue to read what I write because it gives me such joy to see others enjoying what I write.

I'd also like to say that if anyone ever wishes to talk to me about anything feel free. Even if its to complain about school work or just say 'Hi' I won't mind one bit because you guys have given so much to me so I want to give back to you.

I'll hopefully having something new for this series soon and again I apologize to those that were hoping for a chapter. Until then have a great day, year and life and I will see you all next time.
