Dan's POV

The next day Phil and Charlotte went out to meet up with Carrie and Alex, I was going to go but Zoe wasn't feeling up to it considering what happened the day before. Zoe and I snuggled up in my bed for a while until I got a phone call from an unknown number and like a rebel I answered it (don't answer the phone for strangers kids).
"Hello?"
"Dan, how nice to hear your voice at last." I clenched my fists and looked over at Zoe who had her eyes closed, I decided that I didn't want to get her involved with what was going on and went outside to talk.
"What do you want?" I asked, there was a cruel laughter on the other end of the phone. "I'm serious, I told you that I didn't want to see you or even hear your voice. How did you get my number?"
"Oh, I have my ways. You do realise that you're cheating on me with this Zoe person." This time I laughed. "What's so funny? Are you enjoying being a massive dick? Because that's what you are."
"No, I'm not, we broke up and now I am dating someone else," I said and sighed. "Okay, I'm going to hang up now because this conversation is weird and I do not like you."
"Are you still living in that apartment with Phil? Maybe I'll pay you a visit."
"No, you won't."
"Really? I see that you haven't changed from your pajamas yet." I started panicking and looking around to see where she was and spotted her smiling like the Cheshire cat. "Hello, Daniel."
"Shit," I muttered. "Lily, you can't just come here any time you want."
"Shut up," She said and started walking towards me, I dived inside and locked the door. "I'll find a way to come inside and see your stupid, fat, ugly girlfriend."
"Stop talking about her like that!" I yelled and hung up. I hated her, I hated her so damn much. The way she talked about Zoe made me sick, how could someone say something like that to someone that they don't even know.
"Dan?" I looked up and Zoe was standing there with a worried look on her face. "I heard you yelling, is everything alright?" I sunk to the floor and she knelled down next to me, holding my hand. "Who was that on the phone?"
"You were awake?" She nodded and rested her head on my shoulder. "It was Lily, my ex. She knows that your my girlfriend and she doesn't like it." Zoe didn't say anything for a while.
"It's weird that you have interesting ex-girlfriends and the only slightly interesting person I've dated is Chris before he came out."
"You dated Chris?" I didn't know about that. "How come you didn't tell me?"
"I didn't think it was relevant, I mean, there's no way that we're ever getting back together so I didn't really think that you would care." We jumped as someone knocked on the door. I knew who it was and I did not want to answer it but I knew that she wouldn't go away unless I talked to her.

"So, you're the person who's trying to steal my beloved?" Lily asked, I had invited her inside for a chat and Zoe insisted that she stayed. "You aren't much to look at are you?"
"It isn't just about looks," Zoe simply said, smiling as if none of this was bothering her in the slightest.
"I wasn't just talking about hair, clothes and makeup, you know? I was talking about boobs, yours are tiny and let me guess you're a virgin? How pathetic," She said, laughing. It took all my efforts not to punch her in her face. "Dan lost his virginity to me, we'll always have that special bond."
"If I'm a virgin then I'm going to loose my virginity to Dan and that's just as special, maybe more." Lily laughed again, her laugh was extremely annoying.
"Did you tell her that you were going to have a baby?" Zoe stared at me and I shook my head, furiously.
"You have no right to say that, Lily! No right! You didn't tell me, why didn't you tell me straight away?!" I yelled, I was enraged that she would come into my home and start talking about the past that we had together. "I am sick of you! You bring up the past to piss me off and it works!"
"Let me tell you what happened, Zoe," Lily said, completely calm about the whole situation. "I was pregnant and I didn't tell Dan until I had a miscarriage, he didn't talk to me for weeks, months even and when he finally did he broke up with me even though I was still upset about what had happened."
"You're lying, after you had the miscarriage I gave you some time to recover but all through that you kept ringing me up and stalking me, you were clingy, so I broke up with you but I said that we could still be friends."
"I didn't want to be friends, I wanted to be your girlfriend and stay with you forever!" She whined, I groaned. She had always been like that, planning everything for everyone else she didn't care about what anyone else thought, it was her way or the highway. I chose the highway.
"Well, I'm going to be with Zoe forever, we're getting married!" Lily was silent and so was Zoe, I didn't want anything like this to happen. I wanted it to be easy and for Lily to be nice to Zoe and not ask for me back again.
"Whatever, I'm so much better than you'll ever be," She muttered and left. I didn't think that it would be that easy but I was glad that it was, I hoped that she wouldn't be back.
