The four spies ran down the street, Zero was running blindly not even stopping to check roads here only focus on taking the right turns. At one point Zoe had to grab her and pull her back to stop her being run over by a bus. Still though she continued running. When they got to the house though no one could speak.
The red door was kicked down, there was red blood on the carpet, one of the sofas was upturned a smashed plant plot, some of the pictures lay smashed on the floor, muddy boot prints were everywhere, the TV was smashed and a distraught dog was stood in the middle. Zero fell to her knees as Hari bounded over to her burying her face in the dogs thick messy fur as she quietly sobbed. Hari licked her face trying to get her attention, but Zero didn't listed she was crying to her child hood pet something she thought she would never do again, but she was not crying in happiness.
Dan sat in base watching Frank and Stella as they spoke on the phones Stella's voice raising then dropping then raising then dropping until she shouted one last time before snapping the phone shut. Frank was a lot calmer, but he was still pacing up and down nervously, Dan would have paced, but it felt like all the energy had been taken from him. His brother was gone. It was official, and no one knew were.
Oscar was picked up his, now working, communicator when it started buzzing. He answered and all the colour drained from his face once Dan had finished speaking. Carrie quickly guided him to a chair before he fainted as he stood there opening and closing his mouth with no sound coming out like a fish. He ran his hand through his hair a couple times before standing up again and grabbing his and Carrie's jackets. Just another day being a spy, Carrie thought as she ran after Oscar out into the snow.
The were all gathered in Hq as Tom replayed them the video from the Crime Minster by the end Rose and Stella were sobbing and everyone else was speechless. Zero had gone invisible.
"She has kids?" Tom exclaimed "I mean a horrible woman like her shouldn't be allowed kids!" Frank nodded glumly.
"Where are her kids." Rose asked. "Cause we need to get them somewhere safe."
"We are." Said a quite voice, every one turned to look at Dan who was looking at the screen with an haunted expression.
"You said your parents died in a car crash." Tom said confused.
"Yeah they did, dad died, the real mum died. That, that is a hollow shell of what used to be my mother. My mum died in that car crash she is the shell of her who has has her mind poisoned." Dan practically spat. Nobody said anything it was a lot for them to take in. "Where is the meeting point Frank, I am going." Dan said finally.
"You are not going." Every one except Zero shouted back. "Yeah I am." Dan retorted almost like a small child.
"Dan we can't just give Korpse you, your a normal agent, think what they could do they'd run havoc." Stella told him off for even thinking it.
"I wouldn't do anything they say." Dan snapped back, he would never work for Korpse.
"They have ways of making people do stuff, Dan. They would play us against you, manipulate you to think like them." Oscar sighed.
"Well I will go then." Zero volunteered.
"Oh no you won't." Dan snapped.
"Oh so you can go, but I can't!" Zero fumed.
"Yeah." Dan replied
"Why?" Zero yelled
"Cause you would have a mental break down." Dan answered yelling also.
"Neither of you are going!" Oscar shouted making them both look at him then glare at each other. "Look if we send either of you or both of you we have just given Korpse a WMD and we are supposed to protect the country and that isn't exactly protecting it in my opinion so not gonna happen." Oscar scolded the pair.
"We need to find them." Dan said determinedly the rest nodded.
"How, do they have any tracer on them or anything we could track?" To asked looking at Frank who shook his head.
"Both of their phones were found by their bed along with their communicators and spy pods." Frank informed bleakly.
"Can you trace the video?" Dan asked.
"Err I dunno we can try, but I think it would be almost impossible." Tom told them.
"Impossible is not in my vocabulary, Thomas." Zero growled making everyone except Dan jump, she had gone invisible after they had watched the video.
"We can try." Rose stated firmly, sitting down by the computer next to Tom's. "It could take some time though." She added.
"Daisy's parents and sister are staying with them at the moment before they start panicking." Dan said. "I will go." He added getting up and going towards the now working lift.
"I'll come." Oscar informed going in as well.
"Same." Zero mumbled before walking in. This could be interesting meeting the Miller's, Blane had told him about them yesterday so he wasn't quite sure how it would go...
