Chapter 36

Bella's POV

~Sunday Morning ~

"You're coming home with us Bella?" Leah asked jumping up and down in her spot.

"Yeah baby I am," I said running my hand through her hair.

"Are you bringing little lee?" she asked.

Aurora. Since they shared a name, Leah has gotten to the fact of calling her "little lee".

"Of course I am," I said.

"And Chary?" she asked.

"Yes ma'am," I said.

Leah adored her nieces, but hated how they cried so much. Our mother just laughed, as Leah complained on how she was never like Little Lee and Chary. I knew exactly what Leah was as a baby, and she sure wasn't quiet.

"I hope y'all have fun," Angie said pulling me into a hug.

"You're not gonna go see your dad?" I asked.

She shook her head.

"Nah. I'm gonna spend it with my ma this year," she said.

She was spending a lot of time with her mom.

"You're doing a lot of things with your mom," I said.

"That's because she hasn't been in my life long, so we have a lot of things to catch up on," she said.

That's true.

"I'm going to miss you," I said.

"You're coming back. I'll watch the apartment for you," she said.

I smiled at her and gave her one last hug until we would come back, hopefully.

"Does Dad know of the twins?" I asked my mother.

"Not yet," she said.

She obviously wanted me to tell him. It is going to be very interesting to tell my father he is also a grandfather. I didn't mind. I would have had to tell him myself anyways.

"Alright," I said.

I wasn't ready for the long trip with the twins, and with them only being weeks old, the car moving so much could easily both them, so I my family here can see why I'm so nervous about this.

"Are you sure your family won't mind Edward?" my mother asked.

"My mother and father are right in Chicago Sue," Edward said.

"That makes me feel at least a little better. Since I know you'll have some family around to spend the holiday with," she said.

Right. Like Edward was going to drag me, and the twins to his parent's house.

Edward looked over at me and mouthed 'no way in hell', and I giggled. After giggling my mother just had to look my way.

"Whats so funny?" she asked.

I shook my head.

"Nothing Mom," I said.

"Bella…." She said.

"Mom it's nothing. I was just remembering something," I lied to her.

She rolled her eyes.

"Of course you were," she said.

She picked up her bag and started to walk away and when she opened the door to leave she obviously came face to face with someone. Her bag dropped on the ground, making a loud bang and waking an almost sleeping baby that was just coming out of the nursery, with her daddy handling her seat.

"Mom? What's wrong?" I asked walking over to her.

When I was over there standing right next to her I saw who she was shocked to see.

"Isabella!" she said grinning.

Her fake smile wasn't hiding anything from me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I live here Isabella. What are you doing here?" she asked.

"What do you think Renee?" I asked.

"I am your mother!" she screeched.

"Like hell! You were never there for her Renee," my mother snapped at her.

That's right, my mother, and my real mother. The one who was never there for me.

"You're just a replacement Susan. You'll never be her mother," Renee seethed.

"You never were so someone had to do it!" My mother said.

"I wasn't fit out to be a mother to the brat!" Renee said.

"Then why did you have me? You could have had a fucking abortion," I said.

"Bella!" Angela gasped from behind me.

"Please tell me they didn't hear that," I said.

"I can bet they did. They won't do anything," Edward said coming up to me.

"Now who is this man? Cheating on my ex-husband now Susan?" Renee asked.

Oh how I….

"Oh my god! No! Why would I cheat on Charlie? He's a caring and loving man," Mom said.

"Actually Renee—" Edward said.

"Who are you then?" Renee snapped at him.

"He's my boyfriend," I said.

"And you live with him?" she asked.

"Yes," I said.

"Taking things a bit like me aren't you little Isabella? You can definitely tell you are my daughter," Renee said laughing.

I wanted to hurt her, hurt her badly, but I knew I wouldn't.

"She is nothing like you Renee. She was never your daughter, you may have loved her before, but I don't think cheating on your husband, who you had a child with, was the best idea. It might not help that my daughter hates you," Mom said.

Renee's fists bawled at her sides, and I knew she was very unhappy.

"Maybe having a damn abortion and forgetting about this child would have been better than this—" she said.

"Mommy?" Leah asked, tugging on Mom's pants.

Leah looked up from her spot and saw Renee, who did not look very happy. Leah immediately hid behind our mother's legs.

"You even had a brat with my ex-husband! Oh such a big shocker. Is she even his? Or does the little brat, have a different father?" Renee seethed.

Leah is not a brat.

"How dare you call my daughter a brat? I wasn't stupid Renee. I didn't scam Charlie into marrying me for a pregnancy he had nothing to do with, after you lied to him," Mom said.

"Wait what?" I asked.

Scam my father into a pregnancy that had nothing to do with, after she lied to my father.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw Angela standing there.

"Why don't I take Leah out to the car?" she asked.

"I don't wanna go!" Leah whined, stomping her foot.

"Tell me what that means Mom," I said.

"What?" she asked.

"You know what!" I said

"Charlie is not your biological father Bella," Mom said.

Happy Valentine's Day Peeps!

Yes, you can say it. I am mean for leaving y'all on the cliffhanger. I know, I know, Renee was not expected, but this is a Drama isn't it ;)?

Charlie is coming soon, I promise. I know y'all really want to know his reaction to the twins, and Bella, and it will come soon!

If y'all didn't notice, I started my third non-canon story the other day. Those who had been here when I was TwilightEmily know this will be my second try at a Jasper-Bella story.
