Not surprisingly, Sophie, Raven and Gwen were the first to show, letting themselves into the apartment and giving her smiles and raised eyebrows when they saw Logan roaming around.
"He dye his hair?" Raven asked.
"Black is his natural color actually, he just got tired of the brown."
"What about the eyes? They were brown last time we saw him." Gwen commented.
"He had contacts in," Violet shrugged. "Drop the presents by the tree."
Sophie had already done so and was talking to Logan as he poured her a glass of wine. She sauntered over to Violet once he was finished.
"If you don't keep him, I'll take him."
"Sorry Soph, I'm gonna keep him for now."
"Pity,"
Violet rolled her eyes. The doorbell rang and she rushed to answer it.

Everyone had arrived and Loki had taken to standing in the back to figure out who everyone was. He already knew Sophie, Raven, and Gwen, as well as Micah and Maven.
Isabelle turned out to be a quiet young woman of Hispanic descent from the slight accent she had who had brought her girlfriend who, from the head covering she had, Loki figured she was from somewhere in the Middle East.
Chris, or Crystal as Violet and everyone else called him today, was exuberant and outgoing and in a dress. Violet explained that sometimes Chris felt more like a boy and other times he felt like a girl so he dressed accordingly and they called him Crystal at his request.
Jessica was a lithe little thing with big opinions. She was talking animatedly about some cause she supported with Alison, who was smiling and nodding at what was being said while holding hands with her boyfriend Riley. They couple both had blond hair, Alison with bright blue eyes and Riley with brown.
Ben and Sam had, much to Violet's delight, had ended up coming together as a couple. Both boys were tattooed, pierced, and mean looking, but were easily two of the nicest people in the room. Both had also looked him up and down and congratulated Violet on her choice.
Jonah and Lily were also dating and according to Violet they had been since their last year of high school. They had even brought their five month old son named Adam.
Anna was a beautiful girl of African and Asian descent who was studying to be a lawyer just like Violet. Alex, much to Loki's disappointed, was the same Alex he had net previously but this time he did not have to worry about his flirting winning Violet over. She already belonged to someone else, though Loki didn't dare voice the thought out loud. He didn't want to bring Violet's wrath down on himself.
Present were happily exchanged between everyone who had brought them. Violet collected a few gift cards, three books, a pair of shoe, a bracelet, and a pair of earrings. Her friends got similar things with the added purse, shirt, necklace and the like thrown in. Sophie practically tackled her when she opened the dress Vi had bought her.
The guests milled around for a few hours after that. Lilly and Jonah being the first to leave saying that they need to get Adam to bed. Isabelle and Nadia left just after they did, followed by Alex. Loki didn't even mind when he hugged Violet goodbye.
Jessica left just behind Alison and Riley. Anna left a good half an hour after that. Crystal left twenty minutes after her. Sophie, Raven and Gwen had to leave, and Sam and Ben followed them out.
"Good party, baby bug," Micah said as he helped Maven into her jacket.
"Don't call me that, William," Violet smiled smugly at the use of his first name.
"Shut up, Vi," Micah hugged her tightly.
"Thanks for inviting us," Maven told her.
"No problem," Violet hugged her quickly.
"See you at Christmas dinner, Logan?"
"So long as Violet wants me there," Loki shook Micah hand. His response made Violet laugh.
"He'll be there. Get going before the snow starts up. Be careful." Violet waved from the porch as the two left. She turned around and walked straight into Loki.
"Violet Marie, do not even think of cleaning tonight. You look exhausted and you will be going to bed immediately. I will clean."
Violet knew better than to argue with him, "Kay, night. All my friends liked you by the way."
"Good night, Violet Marie,"
