Monsters and Magic

(Author's Notes: Hi everyone! I want to say thank you to any and all of you who have reviewed my novel, and given it positive feedback! And also those who gave constructive criticism, because I really want to learn and become a better writer! Now, get your snacks and drinks ready because this chapter is all on the battle between Maleficent, as Supreme Dragon, and Godzilla and company!

Just so you know, I got a bit of the battle sequence from watching one of my all-time fave monster movies! It was Ghidrah: The Three Headed Monster, made in 1964. I still have it, and a good majority of the old, classic Godzilla movies on VHS. This is the first movie that had Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra in it together AND working together to defeat a common foe.

Also, I want to take the time to really thank all of you for your support. This novel… this one honestly surprises me on how long, and also how deep, I have put into it. I thank God that He has helped me out all this time, and hopefully He can help me with my other stories. Until then, I WILL do my best to make this novel worth of reading! And worthy of the classic Disney and Toho names! I want this to be mostly hand-drawn with touches of CGI here and there, and also live-action! Well, live-action when back in Godzilla's universe.

I do not own Godzilla or any of the characters from Toho, nor do I own any of the Disney characters. I do own my OC characters, and most of the songs here. Any song that is by another artist, I will give him or her their due and credit. Now, on with the novel!)

Chapter 35

Maleficent made her way to the four monsters from another universe, very confident in her abilities to defeat them. "Hahahaha! They have no idea how much power I wield! This new form is far more stronger and durable then my original self's old dragon form!" she thought as she stalked towards her foes. The witch had been very surprised by the power boost she received days ago when she extracted and put into her being the tiny amount of energy from the magical gemstones that contained each of the kaiju's power. She had wanted to experiment further, but saw that her control slipped every time she tried to access the energy. And thus decided to only use it when the time was right, when there was no other option left. After getting defeated by the Marcel women and the brats, in the ocean… she decided to access the energy once more, and this was the result. A dragon that was more ferocious, formidable and stronger then her predecessor! She experimented a little, and saw that she could control her left head as if it was an appendage. The sorceress was glad to know of this, and continued to stomp towards her foes.

Anguirus roared loudly, wanting to take on this dark creature first. The spiked-shelled monster smelled that this dark dragon and the evil human female from before were one and the same, and he wanted to pay her back for forcing him and the others to retreat several days ago. He charged in, showing his recklessness as he wanted to be the first to draw blood in battle! Supreme Dragon roared at the challenger, showing that she was not going to back down! The mutated Ankylosaurs went for a bite attack, trying to lock and secure his strong jaws on the black dragon's body. However, the transformed Maleficent would not allow the monster to get a grip on her so easily. She raised her left claw and delivered a left hook to Anguirus's face, stunning the monster who recoiled a few steps back. Supreme Dragon's left head screeched and shot out intense green flames, her Evil Flame technique! She wanted to see this beast cooked, but the best friend of Godzilla was also quick on the draw. He turned around just in time, his spiked carapace taking the full brunt of the attack. Anguirus was grunting in pain, his shell getting very hot quickly. The flames soon stopped, but he felt something grab the edges of his shell! He roared in surprise as Supreme Dragon lifted him up, and tipped him over, exposing his vulnerable underbelly! The mutated Ankylosaurs was now roaring in annoyance at this setback, and was trying to get right back up quickly.

Maleficent cackled and was about to use her green flames to finish off her foe, when she felt something kick the back of her head hard! She growled in annoyance, and both heads looked up to see that the attack came from Rodan. The pteranodon had taken to the skies shortly after Anguirus challenged Supreme Dragon first, and saw that his ally was in trouble. He dove in and delivered some strong kicks to the dragon's right head, and continued to fly on. Rodan wanted to see if this new foe could fly, even if he did see the gigantic wings on this dragon, he wanted to know for sure if the black beast could utilize them. Maleficent grunted and she flapped her large wings, kicking up large guests of wind as she levitated up into the air! She used a tiny amount of magic to aid in the lift, and soon she was off the ground! Supreme Dragon roared loudly as she chased Rodan in the dark-clouded skies, Godzilla going over to help his friend get back on all fours. Mothra took after the black dragon, the guardian monster wanting to put a quick end to the abomination of nature. The Twin Fairies felt the same way as Mothra did, that Maleficent had greatly violated the laws of nature and magic in becoming such a beast, and thus wanted to put her down quickly. The divine moth was nowhere near as fast as Rodan, but she did her best to keep up with him and Supreme Dragon, who was slowly gaining on him!

Rodan looked behind him to see that the black dragon was catching up to him, slowly but surely. He was mildly surprised that any living being was able to keep up with him, but the giant flying dinosaur was going to make this monster show its stuff. The master of the skies then flew more upward, going into the dark clouds. His aim was to go past the thick clouds again, to go back where the light was shining and the skies clear. However, he felt something hard and sharp latch onto his left leg! He looked down to see that it was Supreme Dragon! The black beast's left head on its leg, its mouth sealed over the appendage. Maleficent's new form had speed, but not enough to catch up with Rodan. So, she used a small amount of magic to boost the speed and velocity of her new body, and when it got close to Rodan… she had her left head chomp down hard on the left leg since it was close to it! The pteranodon struggled and screeched, trying to remove the offending mouth off his leg. He thrashed and flew around to try and get Supreme Dragon's left head off of him, but the long-snouted beast would not let go. However, help came in the form of twin pink energy beams that hit Supreme Dragon's back! Maleficent was forced to let go of her prey, turning her head to see that it was Mothra. The divine moth had caught up with them, and was close enough to see her through the dark clouds.

"Humph! This bug could be trouble! I have never heard or seen beams of magic like that! And they hurt my form too! Now, let me see… how shall I pay them back?" Maleficent thought, her right head containing all of her intelligence and wisdom. After giving it some thought, and keeping her eye on her new opponent, the sorceress had an idea. The two-headed black dragon let out a soft snarl and slowly blended into the clouds, disappearing from sight. Mothra, who was near Rodan now, was looking this way and that to try and locate her opponent. The flying dinosaur was doing the same, looking for any sign of the beast that dared to harm him! Supreme Dragon was flying around, slowly but surely, like a shark. Maleficent had gotten the idea to use the environment to her advantage, which were the dark clouds. Rodan was relying on sight to try and catch her, but he could not see their foe. Even Mothra and the Twin Fairies could not sense Supreme Dragon with their mystical senses, and that was due to both the dragon and the dark clouds. Said clouds were saturated with evil magic, thus the dark coloring and being so thick that they blotted out the sun for several days. And Maleficent's new form was pure dark magic itself, so it blended in well with the environment at the moment. Moll and Lora did their best, but it was like searching a needle in a big haystack. A few minutes passed, and that is when the attack came! Mothra was blind-sided when a spout of large green flames hit her from behind, the huge insect letting out a cry of pain as she fell from the clouds!

Rodan turned and lunged at the spot where the green flames came from, but nothing was there. Supreme Dragon had moved quickly after releasing her fire attack, and was now circling around the pteranodon. The titan of the skies screeched loudly and flapped his wings hard, trying to disperse the clouds around him. It did the trick, and that is when he saw the tail of his target! He let out a loud screech and lunged as fast as he could before his foe could move, his beak biting down hard on the slightly flimsy end of the tail. Supreme Dragon let out a loud roar of pain and the two heads turned to see that it was Rodan, biting on its tail like a fish would bait! Maleficent was angry, and it seemed that her anger took control of her rational mind. While she retained most of her intelligence and such in her right head, should something annoy her very much or cause much pain, the dragon side would emerge and nearly take over her mind. The massive black beast shook its tail wildly, trying to throw Rodan off. The pteranodon was stubborn, latching on despite being thrown around like a puppy would its chew toy. After a few minutes of wild shaking, Rodan was forced to let go and that is when Supreme Dragon capitalized on it. She quickly turned and flew at a dazed flying dinosaur, grabbing him with her strong claws! Rodan struggled to get out of her tight grip, but it was no use. Maleficent cackled inside her mind, then she dived down with her prey in tow!

Mothra was down below the thick dark clouds, nursing the bad flame wound she received on her back earlier. The green flames that Supreme Dragon shot at her were of evil magic, and that reacted negatively to her since Mothra used positive, good mystical energy. The divine moth and the Twin Fairies were doing their best to heal, when they all heard a loud screech and roar! They looked up to see that the black dragon was coming down fast on them, and in her claws was Rodan! "Mothra, get away quickly!" the tiny mystical women yelled at their companion. The gigantic moth did her best to fly away, and barely avoided the incoming living missiles! Maleficent slammed the pteranodon full force into the ground, creating a huge crater. Rodan let out a loud screech as he crashed into the earth, Supreme Dragon rising up and looking down at his prone form. The master of the skies was embedded in the ground, very much hurt and weakly trying to get back on his feet. Mothra saw that her ally was in trouble, and flew towards the black beast! She fired her Ultrasound Wave technique again, twin beams of pink energy shooting out from her antennae. The blasts struck the dragon in the left head and chest, causing her to raise her heads and look at her new opponent. The attack seemed to do the trick of getting her attention, but it appeared to not do much damage. Supreme Dragon roared and leapt over the prone form of Rodan, rearing up when she landed on the ground and spreading her great black leathery wings!

Maleficent was slowly regaining control of her body and actions, very much annoyed that her control slipped every time she was in a great deal of pain. She thought, 'You insolent moth! I will reduce you to ashes for interfering!'. Supreme Dragon shot out another pillar of green flames from her left maw, but Mothra managed to avoid it this time. Although she had two heads, she could only use one to fire her flames. The sorceress could not use her flames from the two heads at once. She then resorted to have her two heads fire her powerful evil-soaked flames one at a time, but at a rapid pace to keep the divine beast on the move. Mothra squeaked as she evaded fireball after green fireball, trying to see if she could get in close to her foe. Moll and Lora knew that using her Poison Powder move would be next to useless at a distance, since the flames would burn up the golden scales before they hit. They needed to get in closer, but it was risky since the evil-charged green flames could do great damage to Mothra. Supreme Dragon managed to keep the large insect at bay for a while, but it was hit from behind the right neck by a fiery blast! The beast's right head roared in pain and turned around to see that it was Godzilla, who was coming from behind! The King of the Monsters had used his Nuclear Death Breath attack on her, which did some decent damage to her scales. His blue radioactive flame was used as a distraction, one that Mothra needed! The large bug squeaked a 'thank you' to her ally before flying over the black behemoth, flapping her wings and dropping on it the poison powder! The two-headed dragon roared in pain as the paralysis started to kick in and from the golden lighting strikes that came from Mothra's wings.

Maleficent was screeching/screaming in pain from within the right head, the good mystical magic playing havoc with her senses. She declared, 'NO! I SHALL NOT BE DEFEATED LIKE THIS!'. Using what evil magic she managed to gain control of, the black beast flared up her aura and the black-green magic struck Mothra but did not strike Godzilla since he was at a distance. The divine beast let out a screech of pain as she was shot back, her body smoking a little from the attack. Supreme Dragon's Aura Flare was similar to Godzilla's Nuclear Pulse Blast, but was more concentrated to a set distance rather then shot out like the King of the Monster's technique. Mothra landed hard on the ground, very much in pain from the surprise attack. The Twin Fairies were also hurt, and Lora saw that the poison powder that was once on Supreme Dragon was off. She had an idea that the black flare from the evil being must have burned up the powder before it could have a chance to settle and seep in. Mothra squeaked and tried to fly again, but Maleficent shot her powerful green flames at her! The negative-charged flamethrower hit dead center on the divine moth's back, and the bug cried out in pain! The transformed sorceress cackled in delight inside her head, but was soon kicked in the back. The attack ceased her flamethrower, and the black dragon turned to see that it was Rodan who stopped her! The pteranodon had managed to recover somewhat from his painful landing-slam, and had seen and heard his ally crying out in pain. So he hopped over and delivered a double kick to Supreme Dragon's back! It did the trick of getting her attention from the fallen guardian beast now over to him.

'You dare to defy me again?! Just like those humans you protect, you are a glutton for punishment!' Maleficent screeched mentally. The more she was attacked, the more primeval and vicious her thoughts and actions became. Gradually, she was losing her aristocratic intelligence that made her so formidable, and becoming a beast with a lust for power and vengeance! Supreme Dragon turned around to face her new opponent, and Rodan was ready to rumble! The titan of the skies was in no condition to fly at the moment, so he was ready for a land battle. He used his right wing to deliver a massive wing-punch to Supreme Dragon's right head, and it connected! It sent the appendage reeling a bit, but the left head retaliated with a fireball. Rodan used his other wing to bat away the ball, but it still left a bit of a burn mark. The monster roared loudly and flapped his wings, creating gusts of wind that caused the dragon to move back a bit. Her black leathery wings were acting like sails, and they were following the hurricane-like gusts from Rodan's flapping! However, it was a short victory due to the beast retracting her wings and using her massive legs and claws to dig in. When the flying dinosaur saw that his tactic was no longer effective, he stopped his flapping and did a dive-bombing move on Supreme Dragon! He fanned his wings out and dove straight towards her mid-section, turning himself into a living missile! He hit dead on, but the move only did decent damage. In addition, the evil black beast got her claws around Rodan's mid-section and hefted him up in the air! Rodan screeched loudly and thrashed to escape from the hold, but it was no use. Maleficent smirked widely and slammed Rodan down hard, pressing as much as she could on him when he hit ground!

Rodan was in a lot of pain, but was not able to do much. More pain was brought, when Maleficent stomped on his prone body! The dragon roared in victory as she delivered hard stomps to the titan of the skies, when something slammed into her hard on her left flank! She stopped her attack and saw that the new target for her ire was Anguirus! The spiked-shelled monster was back on all four legs, and ready for some payback! He charged right at Supreme Dragon, his courage showing as she tackled right into her! He bit down hard on the area that divided her two heads, and clawed ferociously at her belly. The evil magical beast roared in pain from the assault, and Anguirus showed no signs of slowing down! Maleficent, however, was far from finished. She used her left head to shoot green flames at Anguirus's shell, her other head nipping at the exposed area of the mutated Ankylosaurs's neck, the part that was vulnerable and not protected by the spikes or crown of spikes on his head. Anguirus was in pain, but he refused to let go. However, his shell was getting hot once again thanks to the malevolent flames. He kept his grip with his teeth on for a few minutes before he was forced to let go and retreat. He got a ways back from the fire-breathing behemoth, dribbles of blood dripping from his neck while his shell and some of his spikes were burnt nearly black. Even though he was partially cooked and hurt, Anguirus was still ready to fight! He turned his back to Supreme Dragon, confusing her for a moment… until he leaped backwards, launching himself at surprising speed at her! He slammed into her hard with his spiked shell!

Maleficent toppled over, landing hard on her back. She was ticked off before, now she was angry! She thrashed around in her new body, trying to get up and teach Anguirus a lesson. However, the best friend of Godzilla had other plans. Once he saw that his foe was on her back and having problems getting up, he quickly ran to her left side's neck and bit down hard! Supreme Dragon was thrashing more wildly now, trying to get the monster off of her! Anguirus would not let go, showing that his jaws were clamped down tight onto the neck. Even though he did not have projectiles or other special techniques like his allies, one thing could be said about the monster was his tenacity of spirit, and a strong set of jaws that could leave an impression on any opponent! Supreme Dragon's eyes glowed green suddenly, and she let loose her Aura Flare again! Anguirus was harshly forced back by the technique, his mouth badly burned by the evil flare! He thrashed around a little to get the burn to cool down, and also to get the taste of the malevolent dragon off of his tongue. Said black dragon managed to right herself up, and she was very ticked off! Maleficent let out a mental shout as the left head shot out some flames. Anguirus ducked to shield himself from the heat, but was soon tipped over back on his shell when Supreme Dragon switched tactics quickly and lashed out with a strong tail whip! The blow was powerful, stunning the mutated Ankylosaurs and tipping him over on his shell. Said monster was weak from the fighting, but he put up a struggle to try and right himself up. The black dragon was rearing itself up, ready to put an end to the life of Anguirus! But… she was again thwarted when a blast of blue flames came from behind. She snarled in anger, and turned around to see her final opponent… Godzilla, King of the Monsters!

The saurian had seen his fellow monsters in action, and was mildly impressed by their tenacity and show of strength and fighting spirit. He only interfered when it was necessary, wanting to see if his allies could defeat the vile black creature on their own. While many back in his world would call Godzilla cold, it was that he actually had a sense of honor. His allies wanted to try their own luck and strength against this creature, so he let them. Now, it was his turn at bat! It was now a duel between the King of the Monsters and the Mistress of Evil! Godzilla roared loudly at Supreme Dragon, showing that he was not going to back down. Maleficent was mildly impressed by the green-skinned beast, feeling that he was much more of an opponent then the others. The black dragon flapped her wings, taking to the air and attacking from a distance. She spat out green fireballs from both of her mouths in rapid fire succession, similar to a machine gun. However, the rapid attack move was low on accuracy as the fireballs mostly landed around the saurian. Those that did manage hit only did superficial damage as Godzilla's healing ability kicked instantly to repair the damage. The mighty mutated dinosaur roared in aggravation from the attack, and the bonded monster of Melody, Tracy, Cinderella and Ariel went on the offensive. He shot a powerful blue flame pillar at her body, but Supreme Dragon did a quick roll to avoid it. Many would be surprised to see a large dragon such as her show such agility. Godzilla would not be deterred and fired his Nuclear Death Breath at her again, this time scoring a hit on the right wing! Maleficent shrieked in outrage as she fell to the earth, landing with a resounding BOOM! Godzilla roared in victory, then proceeded to stomp towards his foe. He knew that even though his enemy was injured, it could be worse since the dragon could do something dangerous and desperate.

Supreme Dragon rose back to her feet, but slowly since she was injured. Her right wing was burnt badly, with a hole on its leathery side. Maleficent knew this would cost her some magic, but she believed it was worth the risk. She concentrated with whatever intelligence she had left, and used her magic to repair the damaged appendage. In a few moments, the wing looked good as new! The downside with using healing magic was that it cost her some stamina, making her more sluggish and vulnerable to attack. It would only last a few minutes, but in a battle on this scale… that would be very costly. Godzilla saw the hole he put into the creature's wing healing fast, and he was impressed. Even his own healing ability was never that quick, but he set that aside for now. Even if this dragon could heal itself, he was not going to let it happen again! He stomped towards the evil beast, and when he was close, delivered a body blow slam! He threw his weight towards Maleficent, hitting the transformed sorceress hard! The two-headed dragon bellowed in outrage and attacked using her heads! The left one wrapped her neck around his neck like a snake, cutting off oxygen while the other head bit down hard on the back of Godzilla's head. The King of the Monsters roared in anger, and clawed and punched at Supreme Dragon's body! It was now a test of wills to see on who would last longer, the green-skinned saurian or the dragon-witch? Maleficent was getting hammered, and she already had taken some heavy blows from Godzilla and his allies. She soon released the behemoth, who roared loudly before turning to deliver a powerful tail whip that knocked the air out of her! She stumbled a bit, staggered by the force of the tail blow, but she did not fall. Instead… her eyes glowed a fierce yellow color, and she roared loudly! Maleficent was now running on adrenaline, and she was passed beyond the point of no return! She was now running on primal instinct and rage. The once cool and calculating witch that was a formidable force to the world was gone… and in her place was the fearsome Supreme Dragon!

In a blur of speed that surprised Godzilla, the black dragon grabbed Godzilla by the mid-section with her huge claws! Godzilla growled in anger and surprise, trying to get free but he found that this beast's grip was very tight and strong. He would guess it was equivalent to his friend's Angurius's jaw strength, which was pretty strong indeed. Supreme Dragon roared and took her foe upward, beating her mighty wings as she rose to the skies! Godzilla roared again in surprise, and continued to struggle against his enemy's grip. The strong beast of evil was proving to the King of the Monsters that it was more dangerous then the three-headed golden dragon back in its world, King Ghidorah. While the golden beast was taller, more powerful, more imposing, and more defensive then the two-headed dragon, it lacked magical abilities, hands/claws for gripping, and ferocity. The black dragon took the saurian high into the sky, right into the thick dark clouds that covered the kingdom. Godzilla tried to fire his blue flame at her, but the left head snapped her jaw shut on top of his mouth, making him unable to fire his potent weapon. When they reached a certain height, Supreme Dragon remained a loft for a while… before releasing the saurian. Godzilla let out a loud shriek of indignity and anger as he dropped like a stone, falling fast towards the hard earth below! It took a few minutes, but when he finally hit bottom… a LOUD booming sound was heard, similar to that of a powerful bomb exploding! A deep crater had formed and in the crater was the King of the Monsters, very much hurt and in pain. Supreme Dragon flew back down, landing at the lip of the crater and looking down at the prone form of her enemy. Maleficent cackled, which came in the form of a loud victorious roar! However… her roar was short-lived when Godzilla moved, slowly getting back to his feet.

Maleficent thought, 'No! It's not possible! How can he keep going?!'. Supreme Dragon backed away considerably from the crater, and saw her foe slowly lumbering out of the deep hole in the earth, very sluggish but still moving. Godzilla was in pain all over, hurt very badly. However, his pride and fighting spirit would not give in! Unfortunately, his body was too battered and bruised to keep up with his heart. Shortly after leaving the crater, he fell down hard. He tried to move, but his body would not respond. He looked to his fellow monsters and saw that they were doing the same. Rodan, Anguirus, and Mothra were trying their best to rise up, to get back into the fight. Alas, their bodies were also taken the limit. They were down. When Maleficent saw that her enemies had fallen, she let out a roar from her right head and a plum of green flames from her left! The black dragon was giving a shout of triumph from winning over her strong enemies!

~Back on the beach~

Everyone was seeing all the battles that had taken place. With them was King Triton and his people/family, the merpeople and fishes joining them shortly after they had arrived. The memory of this event would be forever etched into their minds, and be told in the history books. The heroes and heroines of both land and sea cheered for the monsters as best they could, but their cheers slowly grew silent as they saw Supreme Dragon defeating them all one at a time. Now upon seeing Godzilla fall after getting out from the crater, most of the adults had a hopeless look on their faces. Ariel, who had handed back the trident to her father when she saw him, asked if there was anything he could do. The King of Atlantica answered, "I wish I could, Ariel. But that Maleficent… I fear she is more powerful and formidable now. Even the power of my trident would not be a match for her.". While most of the adults had looks of hopelessness on their faces, the children had looks of fear and anxiety… and determination. Regina, Sarah, Carlitos, Joshua, David, Melody, Oliver, Hadrian, Kathrin, Tracy, Mainard, Dianne and Edgard were all looking strongly towards where the saurian had fallen. The queens also carried the same looks as their children, fear and anxiety yet a determination that was alit in their eyes. With little to no warning, the children started to run TOWARDS the battleground! They were running towards the monsters, wanting to help and fight with them! The adults snapped out of their stunned state and chased after the kids, the parents grabbing their children either around the waist or at the shoulders. The little ones struggled, crying out to help the monsters.

"Daddy, Mommy! Let me go! Godzilla and the others need help! I need to help them!" Regina and Carlitos cried out to their parents, struggling and causing the adults to be a little bit amazed at the strength they were giving out. Sarah was doing the same against her parents and older brother, who was a bit stunned by the amount of strength she had in struggling. Joshua and David did the same with their mother, Pamela also impressed a little bit with her sons's strength. Oliver's parents also grasped their son by the shoulders to make him stay put, as did Hadrian's parents. The royal parents had to run a bit further to stop their children from doing something very foolish and dangerous.

Eric held Melody tightly and said firmly, "Sweetheart, please! There is nothing we can do now! We don't have anything that can help them against that two-headed dragon! We need to just hope and pray that the monsters can get back up and fight!". The black-haired princess looked to her father and mother, then to the magical beings when they came to them. The look in her eyes said it all, that she was silently asking them if there was anything they could do to help. The royal children did the same with their eyes when they looked to the magic-users. Cateline, Rosalie and the Three Good Fairies all shook their heads in a negative. Fairy Godmother Cateline stated that even though they had a little bit of their super-charged magical energy left, even combined they would not be able to help Godzilla or the others. The pre-teens had tears in their eyes, now staring at the monsters they had come to know and love, to know them better then the other humans in their original world. King Triton swam to see his granddaughter, and the sisters of Ariel followed to see their niece. Melody felt the strength leave her limbs, and she fell to her knees on the sand. Ariel and Eric kneeled next to her, Max going by her side as well.

The Marcel princess put her hands together in prayer form and whispered, "Please, God… please. Help our friends! Help Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and Anguirus… help them! Jesus, please aid my friends!". The others did the same, kneeling and asking for the higher powers for help. Soon, the other children did the same. When the pre-teens and little ones said similar prayers to their deities, the adults soon followed soon. The bonded humans of the monsters prayed with all their might; Ariel & Melody, Cinderella & Tracy, Belle & Mainard, Snow White & Kathrin, and Aurora & Edgard and Dianne prayed that their friends would regain the strength and drive to rise up and put an end to this nightmare. Jaq, Deline, Gus and Rosette were near the Charmings, and they also prayed as well. Even the merfolk started to pray, asking the higher powers to come and aid their friends.

King Triton wanted to do something for his granddaughter and daughter, but he did not know what. Suddenly, he saw that his trident was glowing! Which was unusual due to the fact that he did not activate it. His daughters, Sonia, Scuttle, Sebastian and Flounder were wondering on what was happening. "What the-?! My trident… it is glowing, and not because of me! What is going on here?!" he whispered in awe. Soon, the King of Atlantica saw that his daughters, subjects, granddaughter and son-in-law were glowing a ethereal blue aura! Even he was glowing with the blue, supernatural energy! Melody and the others opened their eyes, and were amazed to see that they were glowing. It would appear that the higher powers, beings more on high then any kind of power on this mortal coil, was sending them help! A warm, surging energy that was NOT magic was coursing through them, and heading towards the individual monsters like a starry trail of a galaxy! Even the merfolk saw the form of Queen Athena appear over the Marcel family, who had died some time ago! King Triton and the sea folk had their mouths wide open at seeing their beloved queen, who was hovering over her family with a gentle but strong smile.

Melody stood back up, but was still holding her hands in prayer form, her friends doing the same. The little ones and the pre-teen local hero boys also rose up, still having their hands in prayer form. William was asking on what was going on, and it was Tracy that gave him the answer. "It's so warm… so warm, full and right! It is the feelings for our friends! God is helping us, allowing us to send our strong feelings to the monsters, to help them! Everyone, continue what you are doing! Send as much positive and encouraging thoughts and wishes to our friends!" the Charming princess exclaimed. The entire group; merfolk, sea life, land animals, humans and magical beings all pulled their minds and hearts together, sending as much encouragement to the monsters! The star-like path trails seeped into the monster's very beings, encasing them in the blue aura! The black dragon looked at them, and was enraged at the sight! It seemed that the positive, encouraging and light aura was like a deadly poison to Supreme Dragon. She fired her flames at the group, but the range was too long and when some of it got close to them… a golden dome of energy came forth to block it! The trident was protecting them, now being used by the Greater Power other then King Triton!

Kathrin and Snow White yelled out, "MOTHRA!"

Mainard and Belle exclaimed, "ANGUIRUS!"

Dianne, Edgard and Belle shouted out, "RODAN!"

Tracy, Melody, Ariel and Cinderella finished it off, "GODZILLA!".

The rest of them joined in, and all of them yelled as one, "PLEASE, RISE AND PROTECT THIS LAND… PROTECT THIS FAMILY! PLEASE RISE… OUR FRIENDS… FROM ANOTHER PLACE!".

~Back on the battlefield~

The monsters were down, but not yet out. They were trying to get back up, but the strain was too much on their bodies. However, they heard and felt their bonded calling out to them. Shortly, they were engulfed in the mystical blue aura that started to not only heal them… but rejuvenate their energy! Anguirus rose back up slowly, feeling the positive and encouraging feelings from the hearts and minds of his bonded. He rose back on his hands and feet, letting out a loud roar as he was back in business! His shell was being repaired, the burn wounds and such healing and going back to normal. When the aura lifted off of him, he looked good as new! The best friend of Godzilla was back in the game, 100 percent!

Mothra also felt the connection between her bonded humans, as did the Twin Fairies. And when the blue aura engulfed her, it was like she received a major jumpstart in energy! Mothra was divine beast in nature, created by the Earth many centuries ago and charged with protecting the planet and its inhabitants. So thus, she was also full of mystical energy. When the blue aura swallowed her, she was filled with the positive and warm feelings from her friends and allies! The Twin Fairies were also left speechless by the energy, and thus started to pray and chant in their own way like back home to get Mothra back on her wings. The burns on her wings and back were healed and repaired, and also the golden scales on her wings were restored in full too! When the aura died down, she flapped her mighty wings and let out a screech of cheer to her bonded!

Rodan was feeling the connection between his bonded humans, and he was amazed to feel such warmth and positive feelings enter his being. When the blue aura engulfed him, his body was being healed and repaired inside and out! His DNA was still changing, and the blue aura fixed it when it removed the negative effects of the black flames. He was still changing, but it would be awhile until the change was complete. But right now… he was feeling good as new, right back in his prime! When the blue aura faded from him, he rose back in the air quick, circling around and letting out loud screeches of gladness! The titan of the skies was back where he belonged, in the air and full of life!

Godzilla was the last one, but he felt the full brunt of the blue aura when it engulfed him! He never felt so many positive and right feelings enter his mind and heart. All of his life, from his mutated birth all the way up to the point before he came to this world, he was full of negativity and hatred that came from the humans who hounded him. And now when he came into this world, he had been subjected to good and positive feelings from the humans, and that was a whole new world for him! Now, was feeling it from his four bonded humans, and that filled his pride and fighting spirit like nothing else! The blue aura jump-started his healing ability, his body repairing itself back to normal quickly and effectively. Godzilla would have healed completely, but it would have taken two weeks at the most. Now, he was being healed back completely in two minutes! When the aura died down… his eyes opened wide and were shining with power, blue lighting dancing in his brown pupils!

Supreme Dragon was enraged, feeling her evil and negative-charged body being hurt a little by the blue aura that was sweeping through. She tried to stop it, but when she touched it… it sent shocks of pain through her entire being like nothing else! She roared and tried to attack the others with her flame, but the distance was too great and the flames fizzled out. When some managed to reach, it was blocked by a golden shield! Maleficent was about to fly over and stop the praying group… when she felt something rising from the ground slowly, and the spiked protrusions on her back raised up in alarm, similar to how hair stood up on a human's neck to indicate danger or something behind them. The black dragon slowly turned around, and saw Godzilla slowly rising up. His spines were flashing a brilliant blue color, his green-skin pulsing with power and strength, and when he turned his head upwards to stare right into her yellow eyes… Supreme Dragon saw the blue flashing of lighting dancing in the brown pupils of the King of the Monsters! Godzilla growled softly… then let out a LOUD roar that shook the heavens! Blue lightning bolts rained from above, striking his spines and filling him with more power!

The evil dragon flinched from seeing and hearing such strength, then turned around to see that the other monsters were up, and fully healed! Rodan screeched loudly, Anguirus roared bravely, and Mothra squeaked loudly!

Round 2 was up!

(Author's Notes: So, how did you all like this one? I hope I pleased you all with this chapter! Now you all can see what happens when you believe in yourself and others, filling them with positive and encouraging thoughts! The power of prayer is powerful indeed, and it shows here. Here is Supreme Dragon's/Maleficent's attacks:

Evil Flame- This is her basic technique in which she shoots green flames at her opponents. While powerful in its own right, the flames carry a side-effect. It is full of negative magic, so thus it can wreak havoc on healing abilities. In addition, it can seriously hamper abilities and techniques that have positive or neutral energy to them.

Aura Flare- It is similar to Godzilla's Nuclear Pulse Blast, but the difference is both physical and effectiveness. The aura flare is more concentrated, going upward like a pillar of black and green flames rather then spherical and outward. Also, the aura is charged with negative magical energy from Maleficent itself, which can again cause many damaging side-effects to the one who is hit by the flare.

Magic Flight- While her wings are strong enough to get her airborne, she can induce a magical boost that can increase her speed, strength and velocity. She can fly as fast as Rodan can when she uses this technique, and lifting her foe off the ground like she did with Godzilla.

Healing Field- Maleficent calls on her magic to heal any kind of damage to her body, but it has limits and side-effects. The side-effect is that the more she uses it, it drains her of intelligence and draws more of the primal beast out. Also, the limit is that she can only do it five times. After that, she has to wait twenty-four hours until she can use it again.
