Hello again guys! I got a review! Thank you so much and please keep reviewing! Anyway, let's see where our adventure takes our heroes. I do have an idea of what's coming up and lets say things are not going to end well for a few of our victors…

Clove

We all gathered in the tribute room, sitting in the metal chairs that not long ago I sat in preparing to enter the arena. Although I suppose what we are entering is like entering the arena. Going into a whole new terrain, not knowing what lies ahead. Besides, who knows how we are going to be treated; they may hate us, even want to kill us. Across from me, Finnick was rubbing a very tense looking Annie. When Finnick looked up, I sent him a questioning look. He mouthed 'flashback to her games' and I understood. I slid my small hand into Cato's much larger one, weaving my fingers into his. We all lurched forward in our seats as the hovercraft began its official landing. In the control room, Plutarch explained that when the hovercraft landed in the hanger to just remain calm and follow his lead. He would be taking us to Alma Coin, President of District 13. She apparently doesn't know that the rest of us would be joining Katniss and things may get a little touchy. I felt the entire hovercraft jolt as it made contact with the ground. Plutarch, followed by Haymitch then a rather stone faced looking Katniss, entered and told us to just follow them quietly. The hanger door slowly opened, and I couldn't help but think of one of those alien invasion movies when the door would slowly open and the aliens would come out, swearing they came in peace when they actually didn't and just wanted to eat your head off, but I suppose now is not the time to make jokes. The look on even Haymitch's face indicated that this was serious and we needed to be on our best behavior. Cato and I rose and took our place behind Katniss, the others falling in behind. As we walked down the gateway, I took in our surroundings. People of various ages in identical grey uniforms were bustling around attending to various hovercrafts, while others just stood as still as statues watching us exit the hovercraft. Cato pulled me closer to his side, his eyes darting all around the room.

"Calm down babe, you're making me nervous. Everything's gonna be fine." I mutter.

"You heard Plutarch, we're on thin ice at the moment. We have no clue how Coin's gonna react."

"Well we know she wants Katniss. Do you think she might speak on our behalf if things go south?"

"I hope. We did keep her ass safe during the Games, it's the least she could do."

Plutarch led us up a set of metal stairs and into a grey hallway. After weaving through various hallways, we entered a set of glass sliding metal doors. Inside was a large circular room. A set of stairs led down into a sort of pit, in the center was a large circular table like the hologram one in the hovercraft. Surrounded by it was tiered half circles of computers, manned by different uniformed technicians. On the other side was a raised semi circle tear with a large screen surrounded by smaller screens. Little technicians flitted around under the screens manning different computers and monitors. A woman was standing behind with her back to us, facing the screen. She had a shoulder length curtain of silver hair and wore a black uniform instead of the usual grey ones. She must be Alma Coin. Our group gathered around the meeting table, sitting in swivel chairs surrounding it. It was then that the grey haired crone decided to grace us with her attention. She turned around then descended the steps, stone faced.

"Heavensbee, I see you brought more than just the Mockingjay with you. Care to explain?" she questioned. Well it was more of a statement. She definitely didn't sound pleased.

"These are some of the other victors that we were able to rescue from the arena, refugees of the Capital. They helped protect Ms. Everdeen throughout the games and helped with her extraction. Although two were apprehended by the Capital during the chaos, including Mr. Mellark. They are in need of rescuing. Some of the Victors here have even volunteered" Plutarch explained. This earned a sigh from Coin.

"I suppose you're right. I would like to speak to Ms. Everdeen though. The fate of these victors will be decided after. Ms Everdeen?" She plucked Katniss from her seat, but not before making sure she had sent a wave of unease throughout the table with her fate comment. I moved my hand under the table where it was snatched up by Cato's. He squeezed it tightly while focusing on Coin and Katniss. They were too far away from us for us to hear. I glanced around at the others, who's worried faces mirrored mine. Annie sent a small smile in my direction. After awhile, Katniss and Coin returned. Katniss sat down in her seat and although her voice was blank, her eyes held a smirk. Coin pursed her lips for a moment before speaking.

"In return for Ms. Everdeen's cooperation, you have been granted protection and immunity. You're actions in the past will be overlooked and you will not be returned to the Capital and will instead assist us with our future plans of action. However, you will not receive any other special privileges; you will live by our laws and our ways of life. Tomorrow we will begin plans for the rescue of Mr. Mellark and Ms. Mason."

Lexi jumped to her feet.

"I volunteer to help!" Lexi proclaimed.

"Me too!" Hunter added.

"Not without me!" Finnick piped in, despite Annie tugging his arm.

"I'm going." Katniss stated.

"No you're not Katniss. You're the Mockingjay, we need you here." Haymitch deadpanned.

"Those three will be enough. They can accompany a small team to the Capital. Perhaps their knowledge of the Capital will come in handy. You're all dismissed." She stated before turning her attention back to the large monitor.
