6 months later
Arizona washed off after a long surgery and changed back into her street clothes. She hailed a cab home, and tried not wake up the slumbering house with her early morning entrance.
She slipped beneath the sheets and gratefully buried her face into the soft curve of Callie's neck. Pressing her body into the warm back of her wife relishing the familiar feel, she placed a few sweet kisses there and felt herself slipping slowly into sleep no sooner then as she curled her arm around her hips.
Callie pulled the blonde strands from her face in the morning, never growing tired of the funny faces Arizona made in her sleep. She stifled a giggle so as not to wake her, and figured she may as well get up and start breakfast. She started to roll out of bed when she was stopped by a tightening forearm.
"Not yet..."
"You're awake already?"
"Somewhat...I just wanted to say Thank you.."
"For...", Callie quizzed
"For being you, for being Sophia's mom, for loving me even though I think I rarely give you a reason to...we get so busy, I get so caught up in everything that I'm doing that the time just keeps slipping by... and I never say it...so thank you." , Arizona put her head down sometimes uncomfortable with intense emotion.
"I know you love me...and believe me there are ways you support me without even knowing it, just knowing that you'll be here...even if its tomorrow, or 4 am, or the days my temper gets the best of me and I'm so frustrated with you I'm glad you're at work...I know you'll be here, you'll come back...you won't run away. I have someone to raise Sofia with...and that's what keeps me sane when I feel like its all starting to unravel.", her dark eyes were wet with emotion as she raised Arizona's face to look into her partner's eyes.
"And, you know since we're being so honest in this moment...I've been feeling like now that Sofia is in Pre-K...I miss having a little baby...but I wasn't sure how'd you feel about...maybe trying to get pregnant again?
Long moments passed before Callie felt Arizona's hands slipping around her waist. She let out a surprised gasp as she was rolled on her back and found herself looking up into the bluest eyes that she had ever wanted to be in.
"I think that of course it'll be an adjustment, but i want anything that you want...I want a life with you full of surprises, and laughter, and family...as big a family as you need..., Arizona began to drop kisses down Callie's throat and near the valley of her breasts, rising her shirt at the same time...
"Okay, that's exactly what i wanted to hear...but what are you doing...Sofia has a dentist appointment this morning..we really need to get up and get going.", Callie urged.
She laughed..,"Well, you said you wanted to start trying to get pregnant..so I figured we oughta start right away", she grinned mischievously, pressing a thigh firmly between Callie's in just the right spot gaining an involuntary moan. She repeated the rocking motion with her hips urging Callie on.
Callie giggled, "You're so silly,", she cupped Arizona's backside pulling her more firmly against her and rising to meet her motions, "And we'll call the fertility doctor and make an appointment right after", she said as she lightly bit the spot on Arizona's neck behind her ear, causing her groan deeply.
"Absolutely,", Arizona said as she gripped the waistband of Callie's pajama pants...just remind me later you know I'll forget"...
Callie just sighed and rose the sheet over both their bodies, in case they had a little intruder burst in...
"Okay...15 minutes...she gasped as she felt Arizona's hand slip between her thighs. "I won't even need half that long", she said confidently as she began to slip her head down past Callie's stomach.
