Clary's POV
When we got in the cab Jace said "Can you bring us here" and handed the cab driver a note, he smiled "yes sir, it should be about $15". I think I'm my mind,Hm it shouldn't be that far away then.
I eyes him suspiciously but ended up just smiling, he smiled back and kissed my nose. "wait my dear, it's the best I can do last minute". I smiled and reassured him "Don't worry I'm sure I'll love it". He put on his traditional Jace smirk "I know you will".

When the cab stopped I could tell Jace was nervous, I didn't know why because any thing I do with him is worth it. I grabbed Jace's hand as he stepped out of the cab and I followed behind. Jace had already paid the cabbie who was now turning into the road.s1hvdxddxddxddxddxxxr
He kisses my forehead and moved out of my way, the image behind him wasn't overwhelming or extravagant but homey. The New York library, it was big and bright, hard to miss with tr-she satues in front and the trickle of people coming in and out.
I smiled, reminiscing of highschool when I would spend hours here to study because it was too chaotic at home with my mom and step dad Luke (who to me has always been xrxtrxerydemy dad) planning their wedding.
I smiled and grabbed Jaces hand "I love this place, how'd you know?" Jace smiled "I asked your dad what you were like and he said you read a lot and spent a lot of time here". I dragged him towards the doors, he followed easily.
He stopped when we reached the secretary desk, he kissed my forehead "now for part one of why I needed your computer". I smiled and and waited as he exchanged a few words with the secretary, she then handed him something. When he came back i automatically said "so did you get any drugs?".
He took my hand "nope that's later, right now is this". With his other hand he held up a small key "room 6 reserved for 5 hours". I smiled, all the study rooms contained a small love seat, tsnowo chairs and a desk. A mini living room reserved for us for 5 hours.
"Let's go pick out some books to possibly read, then I'll tell you part two of why I needed your Scayetlaptop". With that we were scanning down to halls in search of a good book to settle down with.
We msAet up again soon by room 5, Jace had one book I had two. "What did you get?" He held up his book "a classic, A Tale of Two Cities, you? I held up mine, "I couldn't decide between one called Hush Hush and this one called Pandemonium. So I got both to read part of and then decide".
He nodded, when Jace unlocked the study room I went right in and settled on the small love seat. I watched him as he moved the chairs beside the desk and then moved the desk closer to the love seat.
"What are you doing?" He did even look back "patience Clare, almost done". He reach around and grabbed the small bag on his shoulder said to carry the supplies for today. There was some ruffling through the bag and it sounded like plastic hitting each other. Finally he set the bag aside and took a step to the left, revealing part two of this date.
My laptop was sitting on the table with a pile of movie next to it. "Sorry I have to use your laptop, I should really get one myself but you know". I smiled and got up to hug him.
Wrapping my arms around his neck I looked up at him "it's fine, it's sweet, thank you". I kissed his chin "So what movies do we have?"
He smiled happily "well I'm glad you like the idea. So I brought 5 movies, you pick two. We have Red dawn, Harry Potter and the goblet of fire, World war Z, the newer Red dawn and Oculus".
I thought for a moment "Hmmm, let's go Red Dawn, original and new. Just to spot the difference". He smiled "you got it". As he got the two movies and put in the first one I settled back down in the small love seat, trying to decide what book to read.
"Jace what book should I read, Hush Hush or one called Pandemonium?" He was still messing with the DVD trying to put it in. "Ah well Pandemonium sounds pretty awesome to me".
I smiled and set down the other book, keeping Pandemonium. As Jace grabbed his book and walked over I moved my feet slightly to let him sit. He smiled and shook his head.
"Get up, I'm going to lay down and you can lay on me". I jokingly shook my head "What if I don't want to get up?". He smirked "Ah Clary I was hoping you wouldn't say that, you know I have my methods".
I stuck my tongue out at him and settled into the couch a bit more. He smiled and leaned down over me, his hands and upper arms fluidly wrapped around my waist. He was practically on me and I almost forgot to breathe. I went to wrap my arms around his neck but at that time he was easily and gracefully lifting me .
When we were both laying on the couch I glare at him. "You should stop lifting me like a child".
He kissed my forehead. "Then stop being as small as one".
I glared at him again but he kissed between my eyes and then reached over me to start the movie. His arm rested around me, the other one supporting his head.

The rest of the date went perfectly, even a slight bit of kissing between movies. Though we both agree the best part was when the librarian had to knock on the door and tell us to quiet down. Not because we were getting sexual but because we were "yelling" everything the new movie forgot about the old one.
After those movies we still had an hour so we started reading. It was simple and quiet but nice the way his arm only ever left my side to turn the page. After so long I set down my book and had him lower his.
"Thank you so much for this, it was such a great day I couldn't be happier". He smiled and kissed my nose but I then moved my head to give him the sweetest kiss I could.
Alrighty there we go guys. Sorry it's taking so long, having some personal and family problems but it's here now, any way sad note here. I plan on only 4 more chapters of this fic. So can you guys help get me my goal of 150 followers. Ok either way please check out my new fic. I won't continue it till this one is over but I'd love every one to check out DOA
