JANE'S POV

This was getting worse by the minute. Here I am, trapped between two werewolves who happened to be V-addicts as well. Seriously, they keep on groping me every single minute.

I had to get out of here.

"V," one of them muttered. "We need to get som."

"Deliver her first," Coot had told him. "Then we can go get some."

"No, I want some now."

"He'll kills us if we're late," Rikki reminded them.

"Fuck Russell! I want some now. I can't wait!"

I gulped nervously. "My boyfriend is over a thousand years old...we share blood all the time. It's practically flowing inside of me right now."

They all looked at me, wondering if I was lying. (Which I was of course.) They looked like they couldn't trust me. It was worth a shot if it meant getting the hell outta here. Suddenly, they cut my wrist as I screamed in pain when one of the wolves' teeth clamped down onto the bleeding wound.

There was blood everywhere as I strained to keep my eyes opened. All I heard was excited shouts from them all until I let myself fall asleep almost.

Then I heard screams of pain from the wolves in the darkness of my mind as I felt light in the air like I was floating all of the sudden. When I opened my eyes, the car had been flipped over and I was upside down with my blood everywhere.

The door to the side of the car was ripped opened. I quickly looked at the wolves and some of them looked like Rene did when I killed him. Black spider veins crawling up their entire body, eyes filled with blood, and blood seeped out of every hold in their bodies.

I felt strong hands pull my body out from the car. Suddenly I felt stronger now as the warm air hit my skin.

There was someone standing over me with their hands behind their back. Once his face came into the light, I raised an eyebrow at the African-American man who was dressed in fancy dark robes with onyx stones on the lapses of the robes and a gold star with seven points and in the middle of it had an amber stone. It reminded me of my necklace.

"Thor did say that you always get yourself in danger," his voice sounded elegant when he said this to me.

"Who are you?" I asked as I stood slowly up to my feet. "What did you do?"

"I healed you since you are my master," he responded though he seemed annoyed by it.

"You're a Guardian."

"Yes. Victor, the Guardian of Darkness. You are the Master of the Guardians."

"You did that to them...I did that once before." I told him when we started to walk away from the scene. Victor had this sense of properness to him that irked me. He liked some kind of god actually. "How does that work?"

"Easy. I just destroy every blood vessel in their body. Blood includes darkness. If I wanted to then I could easily control the vampire after you."

"Alright him I can understand because he is evil. What about a good vampire?"

Victor stopped walking turning to me. "My power is darkness. Anyone that uses even an ounce of it then I can control them. Vampires, wolves, witches."

"Faes?"

Victor sighed heavily. "That is up for debate among I and Karissa."

"Karissa?"

"The Guardian of Light," he answered. "You've seen what some faes are really like...they are evil yet they represent the light. Karissa thinks they still belong to her."

"Can she control them?"

"For now, but I control evil. Where there is evil, there is darkness. Where this is darkness, destruction follows."

"Where do I stand then?"

"You are the balance. You are all of these things, but you control them-balance them in the world. If there is no balance, then there is chaos."

No, no, no, it can't be...oh, shit!

"Jean. She is chaos," I realized, my eyes widening. "It all makes sense. When she rolled her ass into town, everyone practically went crazy and Maryann only made it worse. Since I wasn't there, everything turned to shit."

"This world," Victor states with a hint of disgust yet interest in his voice as he glanced around. "Is not safe for you anymore like we had hoped it would be."

"Jeez, now you notice," I said sarcastically. "Wait, you all hoped it would be? What did you do?"

"In all good time. Not now, but this world won't be safe. The vampire king of Mississippi is coming after you."

"Why?"

"He has one of the Guardians. They told him everything including you."

"Which one?"

"His name is Lucas, Guardian of Water."

"I thought you were all spread out all over this world."

"The people of this world are frightened of the unknown. We wouldn't be welcomed. We have our own world."

"Why was Lucas here then?"

"He worships the ground you walk on. He thought that killing this vampire king would solve everything until he was trapped by fire. His powers don't work in the heat since there was no water in the air."

"Why do you wear that star?" I asked curiously, wanting to get off the subject that someone else might be in love with me. Eric is already jealous whenever Thor Jr. is around. I really don't need it to be heightened.

"Each point for each of the Guardians. We all have one. The amber stone represents you. That is why you have the stone around your neck, you control us," Victor said, but didn't seem to like this idea.

Can't really blame him since I hate being controlled as well...if anyone else had that power over me, well, hell would break loose!

"I can't exactly control anything because of Jean. This stone takes away my power, it doesn't control it."

"You must practice then in order to earn them back. They probably think that you've abused them."

"Who the fuck was that stupid?"

"The Powers that Be of course. Vampires have the Authority and we have the Powers that Be, there is always order."

"Why is Lauren here with me?" I asked hesitantly, hoping that he would answer me.

"You ask too many questions."

"Strange how you've answered every one of my questions except once I ask about Lauren, you purposely ignore it. I know she was sent there by her birth parents to protect me, but no one else knows anything else."

"Get Lucas back then we can discuss your friend," Victor replied as we started to walk along the road. Slowly, might I add? He acts as if he has all the time in the world or something. "Do you know where he might be? After all, you know all."

"Only some," I corrected with a smile. "But I know where to start."

Victor smirked. "Good. I expect nothing less from you, my Master."

"Jane," I tried telling him. "Please call me 'Jane'. It makes me feel as if we're doing BDSM right now when you say 'Master'."

Victor stopped smirking and his head shot to the other side of the road. "Your friend is close."

"Eric?"

He nodded. "I feel him."

"Don't be weird. Where is he?"

"He felt your pain and I can't control him so he's coming here quickly."

"Wait, why can't you control him?"

"If someone were to drink your blood then our powers don't work on them. If the Guardian of Love wanted to have Eric under her control as her sex slave, well, she wouldn't be able to because your blood runs in his veins. That could be why this vampire king is looking for you, he wants your blood-your power."

Victor turned towards the darkness of the woods, calling over his shoulder. "Practice makes perfect, Jane. Control is power. Power comes from practice."

"Wait," I called out to him, but all I heard was silence in the darkness. I rolled my eyes. "Fucking Gods."

"Gods?" Eric questioned from behind me as he eyed the car crash.

I nodded. Victor never said that I couldn't tell anyone. "Yup. I just met one of the seven Guardians. The Guardian of Darkness, his name is Victor."

"Victor," Eric said, tasting the name on his tongue. He frowned at me. "I don't like him."

"You know that I really couldn't give a shit. He saved me from the wolves. They were gonna take me to Russell, we think that he wants my power."

"Why?"

"Apparently, when someone drinks my blood, they can't be harmed by any of the Guardians' powers. Victor made a great example of the Guardian of Love wanting you to be her sex slave, but couldn't command you since you have my blood."

"And what can Victor do?"

I looked behind me and gestured to the crash. "That. You know how Rene looked when I killed him, right?"

Eric sped over to the car, pulling the wolves' bodies out of the car. He examined the black spider veins across their bodies. "Some of them aren't infected...why?"

"I'm assuming it has to do with the fact that they were the ones who drank my blood."

I smiled when Eric pulled their heads off of their bodies out of anger. "What? It was the only way I could think of to get out of there. I knew that you would feel my pain, Eric."

Eric threw their heads carelessly as he strode towards me, giving me a deep kiss before telling me, "One day I am going to put you in a bubble so that nothing happens to you."

I smiled and I felt right about kissing for the first time since he locked me down in his dungeon. It was a weird feeling. I know that I couldn't very well tell him because he would go batshit crazy on me again, but this was a start for the both of us. I am not ready to be with him just yet, but the idea of it isn't killing me anymore.

I hugged him and sighed heavily. "Thank you, Eric."

"I love you."

"I know."

I pulled away, noticing that Coot and Rikki were stirring awake. "We got to go. There is more I need to tell you."

"Let me kill them-"

I shook my head. "No, let them live."

"Why?"

I stormed over to the wolves, kicking Coot and Rikki in the dick. I heard them grunt in pain and then I told them, "The only reason I'm letting you dogs live is to give a message to your master, Russell. Tell him that he just pissed off The Master and that she wants Lucas back or he won't like what I plan to do next. I will make sure that his joy turns into ashes in his mouth if he doesn't do what I say. I want you both to show him the bodies of your pack and let him know that this was child's play compared to the real thing. Have a nice evening, dogs."

Eric and I walked away from the car as he muttered into my ear, "That was the sexiest thing you've ever did."

"Have you really got the hots for that?"

Eric laughed and nodded. "I like a strong woman. She's not so easy to tame as most are."

I rolled my eyes. "Okay, calm down there, Ric. I ain't yours still. Besides, how does it feel, knowing that I'm stronger than you."

Eric scoffed. "That stone prohibits you from doing so."

"About that-"

I gasped as we flew up into the air and then popped down onto the ground of my house. "Next time, warn me before you fly. I could've had a heart attack. You know how easily my heart can give out! My God, I eat so much junk food that it makes me wonder why I haven't died yet. Although dying in the throws of sugary pleasure is one hell of a way to go out."

Eric and I walked inside of the house. "So tell me about this Lucas."

"The Guardian of Water. Russell was able to trap him because his powers are a no go when there is heat around him since there was no water. He was trying to protect me from Russell, apparently he worships me."

"Why am I not surprised that you already have worshipers, Whirlwind?" Eric chuckled, surprising me greatly since I thought he would be going crazy at the thought of someone else wanting me.

"Why aren't you getting all possessive of someone else loving me?"

"He thinks of you as a God...besides I already know that you love me."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, it is so," Eric replied. "Tell me about the others."

"Don't know their names, but I know what they might represent. There is fire, water, earth, air, darkness, light, and love. They each have a necklace of a star with seven points and my amber stone in the middle of it, that's how you identify them. They live in another world apparently, people worship them there too. Victor made it seem like they were all waiting for me. He said that I can control all of them too."

"Destined to be the Queen of the Gods, huh?"

"The God of Gods," I joked with a wide smile. "Sook!"

"Why is love one of the elements?"

"Maybe it has something to do with how powerful love really is. I mean we all do a lot of good and bad things in the name of love." I raised an eyebrow at the red stain on the rug. "That wolf from Jackson came by tonight?!"

Eric nodded as Sookie came running down the stairs, hugging me tightly. "Now we think that he was looking for you."

"Where's Bill?"

"Disposing the body."

I nodded. "Keep an eye on him. Russell wants him, Lorena is working with Russell to get Bill then they will come after you, Sook."

Sookie nodded. "Lauren already told Bill and I. You know that she's set on killing Russell, right?"

"What?! Why? Well, I know why because that guy is super crazy, but I mean really."

Sookie shrugged. "We saw the door opened when we came home and Lauren thought that you were kidnapped by them already. Then that wolf came right on in and attacked us."

I nodded. "They probably sent him to distract you guys."

Lauren suddenly came barging through the front door, quickly shoving the door closed and locking it. "I think the whole Franklin story line is now my story line, Janey."

"Holy shit. What happened?"

"Who's Franklin?" Sookie asked.

"A possessive psychotic rapist," Lauren answered. "He's supposed to be after Tara since Eggs is supposed to die, but since he didn't...she isn't sad and I was thinking about Godric. I was vulnerable then a couple of stupid rapist rednecks came along and he saved me."

"Well, what happened after that?"

"I ran as fast as hell, you guys! I'm too sexy to deal with this shit! I need to spend my energy getting Alcide to fall in love with me."

Eric pointed a finger at her. "Stay away from my wolf. He is off-limits to you, Lauren. I don't need a sexual harassment lawsuit."

"Oh, please! He wants me to harass him sexually!"

I shook my head at her. "Let her do what she wants, Eric. We can't stop her."

"So what are we gonna do now?" Sookie asked curiously.

"Kill Russell of course."

"Especially since the Guardian of Darkness says that I need to save Lucas before he gives the location of their world and the key to go inside."

"Yay," Lauren yelled, putting each of her arms around the shoulders of Eric and I. "Superheroes! Saving the world once again. Only this time, we all are gonna make sure that Russell is dead as dust."

Lauren pointedly looks at Eric who stares ahead. "I am talking about you, anger issues. Kill him because I know that making him suffer is worse than killing him and I was all for that, you know, but then he got out and hell broke loose. Shit really hit the fan, Ricky and we can't let that happen."

Lauren pulled out a large map of Russell's estate and smiled as she saw the familiar X's marked on the paper. "Now we gotta be careful because this place is swarming."

"You actually might be Ares from Greek Mythology, you know, Ren? God of War. This is a little extreme."

"Uh, you and I both know what he's like especially with werewolves on V!"

This is going to be a long war then…

TBC…

THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEWS, FOLLOWS, AND FAVORITES! I am sorry it's been so long since I've updated, but I was just trying to figure out where I wanted to go. I want to slowly introduce the Guardians and what they represent, then have them come at full force towards the end of the season. I will start to change everything in this story so now it's gonna be AU, but still add some of the story line in this story.

I hope that you liked this chapter.
