"(Wake me up,)

Wake me up inside!

(I can't wake up.)

Wake me up inside.

(Save me!)

Call my name and save me from the dark...

(Wake me up)

Bid my blood to run.

(I can't wake up)

Before I come undone.

(Save me!)

Save from the nothing I've become..."

-Evanescence, bring me to life.

Tenionia was confused.

She found herself drifting through the Duat like she normally did, but she had felt something pulling her. When she opened her eyes again, she was looking down on her former home, the Palace of Teaorna. Tenionia squidded when she spotted to figures below on horseback. The black stallion and its rider were ahead with a buckskin mare not far behind the stallion. Solders and another man on horse back chased them down the city streets and towards the wall to the west. Tenionia's eyes widened.

"I remember, this was the night I escaped." Tenionia felt a lump form in her throat when she saw that her brother had been thrown from his horse and the guards were beginning to surround him.

"Silos!" The princess called but Silos told her to go on without him.

"You'll be safe in Egypt! Nia, Run!" Tenionia felt tears prickle at her eyes like they did on that day. If only she had returned sooner...

"I'll come back for you brother!" Was the last thing that she heard before the scene changed. Tenionia found herself in the shadow of a mighty throne room. The Pharaoh's throne room. Zireria, Amon and Teaornan solders stood in front of Atem. The guardians had made a protective wall between Zireria and her small army, and Atem and Tenionia, who was standing next to the throne, hugging her arms.

"I have a little gift for you, Nia. Courtesy of Father.." The dark princess waved her hand and Tenionia watched in horror as Silos was thrown to the ground. Silos' corpse.

"No..." She gasped as she stared wide eyed at her brother's body. Zireria grinned.

"Oh poor Nia, How does it feel to know that YOU were the one that caused this?" Tenionia's fists clenched at her sides and her bang hid her eyes. Atem growled.

"Enough of this. He was your brother just as much as he was Tenionia's brother!" Atem snapped and Zireria chuckled.

"Please, he was no brother of mine. He was idiot to think that he could escape without the price to pay, and what I say is true. If little Tenionia hadn't like the coward that she is, he could have been spared."

"YOU'RE WRONG!" Tenionia snapped, surprising everyone around her. The only ones that didn't flinch at the force in her voice were Zireria and Amon.

"Silos would have been killed regardless if I had fled or not. He was on the war front half the time, he likely would have died in battle!"

"His death is on your shoulders, Nia!" Zireria sharply retorted, but Tenionia shook her head.

"No, he died protecting me. His own younger sister. He won't want me to blame myself for something that was out of my hands. Silos deserves to move on to the afterlife, and YOU and Father are nothing but cowards to drag me through this hell! I don't fear you or him!" Zireria growled and Tenionia's eyes glowed with power.

"Now... Get... Out." Her tone held no room for argument and Zireria bared her teeth. Amon glanced at the dark princess.

"My Lady, your orders?" He asked in a monotone voice. Begrudgingly, Zireria ordered a retreat.

"This isn't over, Nia." She hissed as she stormed out, her skirts dancing as she left. Then the world went black.

Tenionia gasped as she sat up. She touched her forehead and sighed.

"My brother..." She muttered under her breath. It had been six years since Silos was killed and Tenionia said goodbye to her kingdom forever.

"Hey, what are you doing up?" Tenionia looked to see her husband, Bakura sit up.

"I was just thinking." The covers shifted as Bakura sat up and draped an arm over her shoulder.

"About...?" Tenionia looked down at her hands.

"Silos..." She replied and Bakura's eyes softened.

"You really miss him, don't you?" She nodded.

"He was the only one I could rely on back in Teaona. When he died, I blamed myself. I wept in silence for him." Bakura was quiet. She sighed again.
"I don't... I don't expect you to understand..."

"I do." She looked up and he smirked, his nose touching her cheek.

"I know all too well what it's like, to lose someone with that much importance to you." He brush some of her long black hair behind her ear.

"But remember, you have me, and you have Akaan. You have a family that loves you. So let those demons disappear." She chuckled as she buried her face in the crook of his neck.

"Thank you, Bakura." He smiled as he held her.

"You're welcome."

Me: ^^ IT'S SO FLUFFY! YAY! Anyways, this is the second part of the demons chapter and I know that the lyrics are from a different song, but the lyrics fitted Tenionia better then the ones from Demons by Imagine Dragons. So I only own Tenionia and Akaan. I hope that you enjoyed!
