I have no excuse for how late this was. The truth is that I was really busy with school and trying to schedule this and that. But I made this chapter a bit longer than usual, so hopefully that makes up for the lateness.

Sorry.

Rose stepped through the doors and felt naked in front of the clapping crowd. She looked at all of the people cheering for her and the feeling in her stomach tightened. The feeling was a mix of fear and sadness, which isn't a good combination for a Time Lady in distress.

Her impaired vision was not helping either, she could only see blotches of different colors and people moving around a bit. She blinked a couple times and made her eyes water a bit. It helped, but she could only see about five feet in front of her. "Here she is everybody!" The announcer called out.

Rose could see the outline of the prince walk towards her and take her arm. He leaned down to her ear and whispered, "Remember our deal. If you misbehave... zap." Rose shivered and nodded briefly. Of course she had to seem scared if her escape plan was going to work.

If the Doctor really was dead then the TARDIS was still parked in the small village. But she couldn't possibly run three miles straight without stopping, even with her respiratory bypass system. But she had a plan for that too.

When the prince walked her up to one of the big red chairs he bowed and then Rose felt a little burn in the back of her neck and she quickly curtsied to make the pain stop. The audience clapped louder and whispered to one another about Rose. "You're a fast learner."

"Ladies and gentlemen, if you would please move to the sides of the floor, we would like our new prince and princess to have their first dance together."

The crowd awed and moved to the walls of the grand room and music started to play. (I would recommend listening to Johann Strauss II - The Blue Danube Waltz for this scene. It's on YouTube and the user name is ClassicalMusicOnly) The prince held out his hand and Rose had no choice but to take his hand and let him lead her to the middle of the floor.

The music was slow when the prince took Rose's waist and grabbed her hand. Rose couldn't move her feet until she got a little shock that picked up her feet for her and her hand went to his shoulder, then they started to glide across the shiny tile floor.

The music was coming from a corner of the room where a small orchestra was playing instruments that looked like violins but a bit different. They danced along the floor and the people watched them. As she looked at their faces there were different types of aliens in costume there. Some had the same red skin as the natives and some were from different parts of the universe even.

Rose didn't know how they could deceive all of these people into thinking that this was some innocent event for charity or something like that.

For some reason they were all wearing masks of different colors. Some were blue, red, green and some colors that Rose has never seen before, and it's quite shocking to see a color that you have never seen before.

When the music picked up some of the couples on the sidelines joined in and started to waltz with them. Then when the prince twirled Rose around another man came in and took her waist and stole her away. Rose looked over and saw that a women had done the same with her 'husband'.

This person was an alien for sure. He looked like an Ood but wasn't; he looked more like an Ood with hair, and he was wearing a green mask. Then she was passed on again. This time it was a human, a Time Agent to be more exact, the Vortex Manipulator gave it away.

That's it.

If Rose could somehow get the wristband off his arm she could use it to get back to the TARDIS. But before Rose could even say Jack Harkness she had a different partner.

Several other dancing partners later Rose was finally with someone that looked normal. Rose had been with a man with tentacles for hands, which made her hands all slimy until she wiped them on her skirt. Also, a dog man, a robot, a person who looked like Chewbacca, and a man who was three feet to short for her. But after a very purple and overweight man, somebody who looked normal to Rose stepped in.

The music changed (Harry & Hermione - Nicholas Hooper: Youtube) and Rose sighed in relief when the man took her waist and they started to coast across the smooth floor The music was so magical and Rose even forgot about where she was at moment as she got lost in the movements of her dance partner. He wore a red mask and had brown hair, like her now. He was a bit taller than her and had green eyes.

Those green eyes.

"Doctor?" Rose asked the man. He looked down and her and his eyes went wide.

"I'm sorry this happened to you." Was all he said. And the way he looked at her, it was like he didn't even recognize her.

"Doctor, I was told that you were dead." Rose's voice shook from the sudden shock of her real husband still being alive, and she felt it too.

"Rose?" He finally asked. "What did they do to you?" He stared at her in horror about how she looked completely different from the last time that he saw her.

"Oh, Doctor." Rose stood a bit closer to him now and didn't let anyone else interrupt them. "They pumped me with drugs and they changed me."

"You're hair, you're face, you're skin my Rassilon what did they do to you?" He asked himself.

"They told me that you were dead. And if you regenerated then I would have felt it but I didn't." Her eyes leaked unwanted tears and her arms trilled. All she wanted to do was run away with him, but she knew she wouldn't get very far with that chip in her neck. "Doctor, you have to listen to me, they put something in me that every time I don't do what they say they can hurt me."

"Rose, we need to-" The Doctor was cut off by the prince stepping in between them. The Doctor gave Rose one final look before walking away and talking to himself. He talked to himself when he was under pressure and trying to think of a plan.

"Miss me?" The prince smiled at Rose.

"Go to hell."

"Well that's not very nice." Then Rose almost crumpled to the ground in pain and the prince held her weight up so she wouldn't look suspicious. "You better get a better attitude towards us being together, otherwise that's going to happen a lot more often."

The music stopped and everyone clapped for the band and then Rose and the prince returned to their seats.

"Now the new couple will be accepting gifts now!" The same announcer called out enthusiastically. The people gradually made a line in front of them and came forth with their gifts.

The prince took their gifts greedily and without thanks, but Rose sat through every gift looking at the strange items and wondering what the Doctor was planning to do. When there was only one person in line they had gone through over 200 gifts. Rose was trying her best to stay in her seat and not get electrocuted again, but with no sign of the Doctor in over an hour, Rose was getting restless.

The line was getting shorter and shorter and then somebody yelled from the back of the room. "Why can't we leave?!" Rose stood up to get a better view of what was happening. A man was arguing with a castle guard near the main entrance. "We gave them our present, now why can't we return to our ship?!"

"You cannot leave." The guard replied, emotionless. Everyone in the room was looked at the pair of them yelling at each other and wonder why they wouldn't let him leave.

"Excuse me? I parked my ship outside and I would like to leave now! I have every right!" The man shoved the guard out of his way and tried to push the doors open. The big wooden doors didn't budge, and the man banged on them fearfully.

Others joined in and tried to make the doors move, but they didn't succeed. The prince let out a sigh of frustration. "Ugh! Why can't they just give up? They're not going anywhere." Almost every head in the room turned to look at him and mouths were left opened.

Now people really started to panic. They looked all about the room deciding where to run, but there was nowhere to hide. A great crowd gathered around the doors and wouldn't stop until they were opened.

With the prince in distress Rose took the opportunity to punch him and try to find the small remote that controlled her microchip. She searched his pockets and found a small black controller that she had seen earlier that day. Rose quickly tried to disable it but she didn't know how.

"NO!" The prince sat up and pushed her away from him. Rose fell flat on the floor and the remote slid across the tile and to the middle of the room. The prince got to his feet quickly and ran after the controller. He dove for it and turned it on.

Rose screamed in pain and clutched her head between her hands.

But suddenly the remote was once again sliding across the smooth floor and the prince was being attacked, from no one other than the Doctor. The prince looked up at the Doctor's face in horror; it was no longer the face of the Doctor, it was the Oncoming Storm looking down at him.

"You have been in power too long." The Doctor pulled something from his coat and shot him in the forehead. The prince fell limp and the Doctor ran for the controller and smashed it with the bottom of his foot.

Rose's screams stopped and the Doctor ran to her side. "Are you okay now? Are you hurt, do you hurt?" The Doctor's hands flew across Rose's body in worry and Rose calmed them with her own.

"I'm fine, now." She gave him a reassuring look and the Doctor helped her stood up. She looked around the chaotic room. People were fighting guards and trying to find a way out. Then Rose's eyes fell on the prince. "Is he dead?"

"No, I just rendered him unconscious with this." The Doctor held up a laser gun. "Did you expect me to kill him?"

"No, I knew you wouldn't actually kill him. He doesn't even deserve death." The prince began to move and groan. The Doctor took Rose's hand tightly and they walked over to his waking body.

"Please, I beg of you, don't kill me." The prince cried to them.

They both said nothing, until the Doctor knelt down to him and searched his jacket. "This," The Doctor held up his sonic screwdriver. "I believe is mine." The Doctor started to turn away, but Rose kept her ground. Rose took one swift moment and kicked the side of his body. The prince grasped his side and rolled over in pain.

Rose now turned with the Doctor and the ran to the crowd of people who are nested around the main doors. Rose and the Doctor pushed their way through the frightened people and made it to the front. "What are you going to do?!" Rose had to scream for the Doctor to be able to hear her.

"I'll just sonic it!" The Doctor held up his sonic to the doors and began to run through different settings on the screwdriver.

"But the sonic doesn't do wood!" Rose shouted at him.

"But the lock on the outside is electronic! So if I just-" The Doctor was cut off by the hoard of people running past them. The doors swung open freely and the people ran to their vehicles and started to run away as fast as they could.

"Ughh, no..." The Doctor and Rose turned around to find the prince inching towards them. "My plan... is... ruined."

"You had no plan, not with me here." The Doctor told him. They watched as the prince gave up on moving all together and stayed on the ground from exhaustion. "Now the question is: What do we do with you?"

"I know." Rose said, staring down at the man who kidnapped her and tortured her physically and mentally. "Do you have a Vortex Manipulator by any chance?"

"Uh, I think so." The Doctor dug around in his bigger on the inside pockets and pulled out the leather bracelet. He handed it to Rose and she punched in coordinates.

"Do you trust me?" She asked him.

"Always." Rose smiled at his answer and laced the band around her wrist and grabbed the princes hand, and with that she zapped them away.

Rose landed with the prince on a planet where she had visited during her search for the Doctor. "Where are we?" He asked.

Rose didn't reply, she only dragged the prince by his arm towards a large building. They walked inside and went down a couple hallways and passages to get to a single room. The building was all brick and it was very dirty. It smelled like a farm and it was worse than the cell the Rose had stayed in the night before. In this room was a women who looked at Rose and smiled. "Wolf, I knew you would come back some day."

"Hey Regina, how did you know that it was me?"

"I know you whenever I see you. I could never forget those old eyes." She smiled at her old friend.

"Sorry for the short notice, but I have someone for you." Rose pushed the prince onto his knees and took a couple steps back. Regina stepped forward and eyed the prince, she then grabbed his hair and angled his face to look at hers.

"This one's a bit ugly, but..." She walked around him eying his features. "He will do quite nicely. Where'd get him?"

"A palace." Rose told her.

"Ooo, I have royalty on my hands. I enjoy that, Thank you Wolf."

"You are certainly welcome." And with that Rose left him with Regina and returned to the Doctor.

They made their way back to the TARDIS, hand in hand. The Doctor suggested that they fix up Rose in the medical bay and that's where they went.

Rose stripped off the horrible green dress and the Doctor went to their room to grab some of her pajamas. When he returned with them and he helped her dress herself, because she was quite sore from all of the electrocution.

Also since they were back on the TARDIS they were able to feel each others minds, which put both of them at rest. Rose sat on the medical bed with her head down while the Doctor worked on getting the chip out.

He had numbed her neck and put in an IV for some pain killers. The dark blue liquid dripped every three seconds as the Doctor tried to undo her stitches and pull out her chip.

"What did you do with him, the prince?" The Doctor asked as he clipped the little lines of thread.

"I took him somewhere where I've been before. While I was looking for you, after I came back, I made pit stops. And once I made it to this planet where they take men and... do thing to them."

The Doctor stopped his clipping and began pulling the string from her flesh, "What things?"

"It's not quite torture, but more of a slave trade... for things."

"You mean..."

"Yeah."

"Then I take it he got what he wanted. Women." The Doctor began to locate the chip with a tweezers and extract it from her spinal cord. "Rose, I'm so sorry this happened to you."

"'S not your fault, you couldn't have known." Rose felt something being pulled from her next and then relief. Rose turned around when she heard a little ting and saw that the Doctor had dropped the chip into a metal bowl.

He turned Rose's head back around and began to apply some sort a jelly that regrew damaged flesh and skin. Once that was done he began on making Rose look like Rose.

"I should have checked the monitor..." The Doctor said to her as he poured some liquid over her head. Rose faced him as he washed the clear fluid through her hair and saw that her hair began to return to it's normal color.

"I told you not to check, so really I brought this upon myself. And it doesn't matter who's to blame, we're back on the TARDIS, safe and sound." She rested her hand on his shoulder and began to rub it. His dress coat was off and he had on his suspenders and white shirt.

"You're right, you always know what to say." He brushed a towel over her wet hair that was returning to it's natural color of gold. Rose looked at him as he rubbed her face so that the swelling would go down.

Rose was now beginning to look like Rose again.

"My beautiful Rose."

"My Doctor."
