jens interview

officer- this interview is just to hel with our inquiries our interview will not be recoreded as you are in hospita so we cannot recored you but ill write everything you say down then at the end you can have a look make sure everythings right then i will need you to sign it do you understand

the police officer asked jen nodded

officer- so can you tell me what you are to miss evans please

jen thought for a minuet and then answered the question

jen- i am miss evans girlfreind

the police officer nodded and started writting down

officer- can you tell me what happened in your version please

again jen thought for a minuet thinking of the right words to say

jen- we were upstairs having breakfast around 10:30 and i needed to go to the toilet so i told miss evans and then i opened the bedroom door a couuld see smoke then i looked down the stairs and thats when i seen fire so i shouted miss evans and we managed to go to the bathroom as i thought it would be safer i told miss evans to keep calm and we got some towels atchually ... i think we just wetted anything we seen and ut it at the bottom of the door to try and keep the smoke out then miss evans remebered about her sons guennie pig i said i would go then i wrapped a wet sheet around me and ran to miss evans sons bedroom and got the guinne pig but on my way back i didnt feel to good i was going dizzy and the next thing i knew i was inside the bathroom sat on the toilet being held up at that moment i knew i knew we had to get out or we were going to possibly die in there all i could think about was matthew miss evans son so i told miss evans that we were going to need to run i drounded the sheets in the bath again and i wrapped them around us then i told miss evans to keep her head under the sheet and to keep hold of the guinnie pig and i ran out of the bathroom and down the stairs and out of the front door and then the ambulance had me in back of their van thats all i remeber

the police officer nodded and smiled finishing the last bit of writting down then she looked at jen

officer- thankyou so much i have wrote it all down have a read through make sure your ok with it then if you could sign it at the bottom and then i will be on my way

jen had a quick read through it and then signed it and the police officer left
