Chapter 33: Reminisce
"You're late." Rekka chided, Korin re-joining the group.
"You can't get too involved." Suiko reminded. "It's only our duty to…"
"I know." Korin cut her off.
"She doesn't, but I do." Isis intervened.
"Isis-sama…" Suiko's eyes widened. "Has your memory returned?"
"Yes," Isis nodded. "Everything. This is something that must be stopped. The 'Shadow Paladins' have no need for a second Vanguard; I have no need for another 'Blaster Dark' as one of my swords."
"Isis-sama?" Rekka blinked, handing a glass of water to the seemingly exhausted Pillar.
"I'm alright." Isis assured, taking a sip of the liquid. "It's just… I think Toshiki's remembering things he isn't supposed to."
"As in Kai Toshiki?" Korin echoed. "Now that you mention it, he uses a 'Kagero' deck. Wait a minute, you mean he's…"
"Yes," Isis sighed. "He is the reincarnation of that guy. I swear the stubbornness stuck with him through the Reincarnation Wheel."
"Well, guess that explains why 'Dragonic Overlord' chose him." Rekka mused.
