As we danced, I couldn't help but wish that this night would never end. I couldn't shake the nervousness that come tomorrow this would all be different and things would go back to being the way they were. I just wanted to exist in this moment. Viktor must have sensed that something was up.

"Vhat's vrong?" He asked, pulling me to one side.

"It's nothing, I just don't want this to end." I sighed, feeling embarrassed just mentioning it.

"It'll never end, not in here." Viktor massaged my temple. "Memories are lifelong." The room was starting to clear, the night getting further on. "Let me valk you back to your commonroom." I entwined my arm around Viktor's, allowing him to walk me from the Hall. Once we reached the commonroom entrance, Viktor held my face with both of his hands before firmly kissing me on the lips. "I've had a great night Mione." He smiled, his fingers entwining mine.

"It's been perfect." I blushed.

"Until tomorrow." He muttered, kissing me once more on the lips and then the forehead.

"Until tomorrow." I repeated, as I hugged him tightly before entering the commonroom behind me. The commonroom was extremely loud, which was crazy considering there were only 2 people in there, not including myself.

"And I've made up my mind! No we can't leave us behind! Anymore!" I could hear Draco screaming from where I was stood.

"Shuuuut up! Shuuuut up!" Blaise was making just as much noise as Draco. I gave myself a few minutes in the doorway, I wasn't quite ready to come back down to the reality of having to deal with these muppets just yet.

"Cause you were all I ever looooooonged for!" Draco was going again with a completely different song.

"I said shush!" Blaise shouted and I heard a loud bang echo around the commonroom. Sighing to myself, I took my heels off and made my way into the room.

"You're like a couple of banshees!" I said as I saw the full extent of the room. Draco was stood upon one of the sofas in just his dress shirt and a pair of boxer shorts. Blaise was sat in the armchair opposite, fully dressed, wand in hand, pointing at random cushions and sending them in Draco's direction.

"Hermione!" Draco sounded surprised at my arrival. "Where've you been?!"

"At the ball…?" I shook my head, placing myself on a sofa next to where Blaise was sat. "I'm surprised the pair of you weren't escorted from it, the state of you."

"We're too crafty for that. We are surprisingly intelligent Hermy." Blaise said. He had put his wand away and was lying with his face towards the ceiling, his eyes tightly closed.

"Do you guys want some water before I go to bed?" I asked.

"Bed?! You've only just got here!" Draco whined, throwing himself down into a sitting position like a child. I was about to respond but was rudely interrupted by Blaise snoring.

"I think maybe you need to go to bed."

"Maybe we could go to bed." Draco laughed at himself as I threw a pillow in his direction.

"Shut it you." I pulled one of the throws off the couch, draping it over him. "Go to sleep." Just as I was walking away up the stairs, I could hear Draco mumbling under his breath.

"Pretty blue dress…" I shook my head laughing, before going for some much needed rest.

I awoke the next morning feeling extremely tired. I had no idea something like a ball would take this much out of you. I went straight to the bathroom to clean myself up. I'd managed to get most of my makeup last night but I still had pins sticking out at random angles from my head. After I had showered and cleaned myself up a bit, I pulled my hair back into a French braid. Throwing on a loose pair of sweatpants and long sleeved baseball tee, I made my way back into the dorms. Whatever it was Pansy was going to divulge to me last night, she had clearly had second thoughts as she had ignored me all morning. The ball must do strange things to people or maybe she had found out I'd had that dance with Draco, who knows. I quickly penned a quick letter to my mother, making sure that I hadn't overreached by invited Viktor over for the New Year. As I made my way down to the commonroom, I could hear groaning. It didn't take a genius to work out who it was.

"Nursing a nice hangover there, boys?" I asked, slamming my hands down on the back of the chair.

"Uhhh!" Blaise moaned, trying to bury his face into the couch.

"I'm glad you find it amusing." Draco said, rubbing his temples.

"I find it very amusing. Especially after the things I saw and heard last night. Very amusing indeed." I commented before heading towards the exit.

"What?!" I heard Draco shout and giggled to myself as I walked across the Entrance Hall. It was so bizarre seeing everyone in their usual clothes after the ball yesterday, I wasn't quite used to it.

"I never did get that dance." Cedric appeared from behind me. I kept walking as he followed behind me.

"Are you surprised by that?"

"Not really, our foreign friend seemed to have you quite firmly under his thumb." I knew where he was going with this, he thrived on my outrage.

"That isn't really the way I see it, but hey whatever helps you sleep at night."

"Au contraire. It keeps me wide awake." I shook my head, not really sure what he meant by this. Thankfully though I had arrived at the Slytherin table, so I no longer had to put up with his taunting. I ate quickly before heading down to the lake to see if Viktor was there. It surprised me to see that he still had a group of followers while he was training, considering that he had been left well alone at the ball.

"Mione!" He shouted when he saw me, bounding up the hill in just a pair of sweatpants. I didn't know where to look! He pressed himself tightly against me as he embraced me, his bare chest so close to me made my heart flutter and my cheeks flush red. "I have a gift for you. Come." Viktor smiled, pulling me behind him towards the Durmstrang boat, his followers disbanding, giving me foul looks as they went.
