Hey, my readers! Are you as sad as I am that Sons of Anarchy is over! The ending killed me, but I liked how it ended at the same time. Here's a new chapter Fighting the Inevitable! Enjoy, and let me know what you think!
I rested my head on Jax's bare chest, running my fingers over his tattoo with Abel's name.
"How was that, babe?"
"Eh , it was okay," I teased.
His mouth went agape, and flipped me onto my back, making me let out scream.
His mouth devoured mine, pulling away after a couple minutes.
"Those screams suggested otherwise, Alaina."
" You should know you don't have to ask me how good you are in the sack. You already know you're amazing."
"Amazing, huh?", he whispered against my lips.
"Amazing . "
My head pressed further into the pillow as his mouth finally met mine again.
"Ya know, considering how much action these beds see everday, this one is pretty comfortable."
Jax laughed, his head falling next to my ear. He moved himself off of me carefully, and pulled me back into his strong chest. He placed a kiss on my forehead.
"What am I going to do with you, Larson?"
I shrugged casually, and my hand started rubbing my stomach.
"Did you tell Jarry about the pregnancy?", he looked down at my stomach before looking back up at me.
"I did. I'm officially on desk work starting tomorrow for the next nine months."
"Or you could stay home. I make enough money to support all four of us."
I moved my hand from his chest, and rested it against his face.
"That's sweet baby, but I want to work. I'm not the kind of woman that depends on her man to do everything. "
"It was worth a shot. But, that offer will always stay on the table."
"Okay. I'll remember that."
I sat up, and moved my legs to the carpeted floor.
I sat up in the bed, pulling the covers back.
"What are you doing?"
I started collecting my clothes that were strewn around the room.
"I'm getting dressed. As should you. You have your last run in two hours," I looked at my watch.
"Shit. We've been here that long?"
"Yeah, I know. "
After my bra and panties were on, I slipped on my uniform shirt and sighed.
"Jax, you need to stop ripping my uniform shirts. They aren't cheap."
He dropped his boxers that he had in his hands. He walked over to me, pulling off my shirt.
"I can't help it. You drive me crazy. We have two hours to kill, and I'm not finished with this body. "
Seriously, one human being should not have this kind of hold on me. But, I loved it, and never wanted this kind of feeling to fade.
I put my hands on his chest, making him step backwards until he fell back onto the bed.
"We might as well start the day off right."
He smiled, and grabbed my wrists, pulling me on top of him.
Jax and I left after our one last romp for the day. By the time, he was about to leave to pick up Abel, Gemma came through the front door with Abel holding her hand.
"Hey, I thought I was picking up Abel."
Abel hugged his dad's waist. Jax picked him up, and gave him a kiss on his temple.
She pulled off her sunglasses, and placed them on top of her head.
"I figured it would be easier on you."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome. Where's Alaina?"
"She's in the kitchen making breakfast."
Gemma nodded, and walked past Jax and Abel.
I heard the clicking of heels enter the kitchen. I looked up from turning off the stove, and looked at Gemma.
"Good morning."
"Mornin'."
"I hope you're hungry. I made blueberry pancakes and bacon. There's also a fresh pot of coffee ready. Just help yourself," I put each plate of food in the middle of the table.
"Alaina!"
Abel came running in the kitchen, hugging my waist.
"Hey, little monster. You have fun at grandmas?"
"Uh huh. I made my brother something for his room when he comes."
He moved his large dark blue bookbag off his shoulder. He pulled out a picture of four people standing outside what I'm guessing was our house. I bent down and handed me the picture.
"That's me, you, daddy, and my brother, " He pointed at each stick figure.
"What if you get a sister?"
"Then, I'll make the blue stick figure purple."
"It's beautiful, Abel. Thank you. I think your brother or sister will love it.
He nodded and hugged me.
"Can I go hang it up?"
"Sure."
"Daddy, come help me."
He ran to the extra bedroom with Jax trailing close behind him. Gemma smiled at me.
"He really loves you."
"And I love him."
Gemma grabbed a mug from the cabinet, pouring herself a cup of coffee.
"I was wondering, when are you off work again?"
"On Sunday. Why do you ask?"
"I wanted to take you baby shopping. Get to know my son's old lady some more."
"I'd love to, Gemma. "
"Great. Speaking of the baby, how are you feeling?"
"The nausea is still there, but I'm managing it."
"I've been there.. twice. It gets easier after the first trimester."
Jax had his cut on, and slipped his keys in his front pocket.
"Sorry to interrupt, but I have to head out."
"Alright, baby. Be safe," Gemma gave her son a kiss on the cheek.
"I will. Bye, babe."
He gave me a quick peck on the lips.
"I'll give you a call later, yeah?"
"Yeah," I replied.
"Love you."
"I love you, too."
Gemma and I both grinned at each other, and started setting the table for breakfast.
Jax parked his bike across the street from Scoops. As he was about to head inside the ice cream shop, he saw Romero Parada leaning against the building next door, smoking a cigarette.
Jax made his way over to Romero. He dropped his cigarette, and stepped on it, moving his shoe back and forth.
"Jax Teller, long time no see."
"What the hell are you doing here, Romeo?"
"I have a shipment that needs to be delivered by tomorrow."
"I told you, we are done being your drug 't you remember all the shit that went down when we helped you out?"
"Yeah, because Clay was at the head of the table. You and I both know you're smarter than him. More careful."
"You can kiss my ass all you want. We are not doing it."
"I've had a couple of my guys watch you for the past few months. You have a son, another child on the way. A new beautiful woman on your arm. I'm sure you want to give your family everything they want, correct?"
"I don't need the money, man. I'm good."
" You might not need it, but from the look in your eyes, you want it. Running pussy doesn't bring in as much cash as running drugs. How long do you think a woman like Alaina Larson will stick around if you're not bringing home some serious cash?"
"You don't know shit about her. She's not like that."
"All women are like that, son. "
"My answer is still no. "
"What if I said you have no choice, but to say yes?"
