Sonia's Dangerous Journey of Life and Death Part 4 out of 5: The Tag Team Duo of a Life Time, Dragons and Samurais
A/N: Fixed errors in the last chapter, plus got things intact for this awesome team up, remember, I am taking those 3 contests seriously, so better do it. I want to hear from you guys, also… for a heads up everyone, I am thinking about starting a new Yugioh series/co-production, so I do hope to see you guys come with ideas, maybe a new story or so. Enjoy the chapter And… sorry for taking excessively long on the thing, and the challenges are now till Nov 31 as of now… my senior year and things have been a bit of a living hell lately! Very sorry for also missing the original deadline of 9-24-13, I am now going to start working on the fanfiction like hell.

From where we last left off, we see Sonia having only having Koyuki out on the field, and one face-down, Korina with her mighty Dark Royal Dragon Wyvrin hanging out on the field, and lastly we see Jackie just joining in on the fray with Sonia just as the situation of a near-loss has completely been gone. Korina let Jackie join the duel to make 2 people suffer instead of the one that Korina really wanted to do. You know, two is better than one.
Jackie drew her 6 cards now as it is her turn, and looked at her options. "I may not have the best offensive hand for my situation, but that really isn't the case here, it's best for me to go on defense for now, I assume Sonia would do the same." Jackie thought to herself for a moment as she needs a good plan just to even succeed in this duel, and then Sonia called out to her.
"Jackie… I got bad news I need to share with you, any player that loses a monster with the field spell in play loses 600 points. So better keep your monsters protected." Sonia yelled out to her, and then Jackie turned to her. "Plus her cards are unaffected by ours until my end phase, because of Wyvrin's effect."
"Thanks for the heads-up Sonia, I will keep that in mind." Jackie replied to her, and then starts to then focus on the task at hand, making a good defense. "Alright… it's time for this duel to really begin. I shall begin by playing my Shieldbearer of the Six Samurai in Defense Mode." She said, and then the big armored shield China man came in and brought his shield with him.
Attr: Earth Type: Warrior Atk: 100 Def: 2000 Level: 4
"And then I shall activate a magic card known as Katana's Cure… and by sending a Six Samurai monster from my hand to the graveyard, I am allowed to restore life points equal to that monster's attack points. So I send my Monk (2500) to the graveyard, and then I will send Sonia some life points to help her out." She said, and then Sonia gets a green aura, and her life is restored.

"So what, it doesn't make a difference, she will fall just like you." Korina said with a grunt.
"Actually it's more than that, its call lending a hand to a friend, and that is what I did for Sonia. She stood for me, so I am standing for her. And now, I shall place 2 cards face-down, and end my turn." Jackie added, placing her cards face-down and ending her turn.
Jackie's Hand: 2
"My go now! I draw!" Sonia said, and then suddenly she sees the card that it was Kuridragoon, and the spirit comes out, and turns to face Korina in a evil way. "Oh don't worry Kuridragoon, we will get back at her, and that is what I am about to do right now." Sonia smiled to it before the little Kuridragoon shook its head like a little bunny toy, and then Sonia knows that to do, and she gets back to Korina right now.
"First of all, I am going to summon my Kuridragoon in Defense mode." Sonia yells out, and of course, the furball with a cute look and dragon wings comes out to join the fun in defense mode.

"What's the point, your furball won't do a thing to my monsters Sonia, not until the end of your turn that's for sure." Korina grunted. "That's not the case, as now I am going to activate my face-down card… Kuri-Boost! And by sending Kuridragoon to the graveyard, I am allowed to activate one of 3 effects. The first would let me draw 2 cards, the second lets me destroy a card on the field, and the last of the effects lets me take a monster from either graveyards and summon it to the field. And I choose effect number 3…. And for good reasons." Sonia said, and then Jackie knew this move, but however… Korina was horrified to hear it.
"That's means…?" Korina said in shock.
"That's right… I am summoning Gandroff the Dragon Prince from the Graveyard." Sonia yelled out as she sends Kuridragoon in a blinding light to the graveyard, and then light comes out of Korina's graveyard and then coming to Sonia's field was Gandroff the Dragon Prince in defense mode (for good reasons).

Jackie was pretty amused on how Sonia brought back her own ace from her graveyard back to the game in a good instant flash. Seems like hope that can be brought at good times can really helpful, and thankfully her intervention really paid off. "I'm glad Sonia got her monster back, but with Korina's monster at full strength at 3800 points, it's too risky to use an attack. Clever idea to put your monster in defense mode, and that's all you can do for now since Korina has the upper hand."
"I will then placed Koyuki into defense mode in addition to that, and then… my turn's done." Sonia said, as of now, she has a good defense of Koyuki and Gandroff on the field.

"Well, guess you waited an opportunity to attack, not that you could have anyway." Korina smirked in amusement as she picks another monster from her deck, "Well it's about time someone suffers, and while this move might not take all the life points away, I will knock a good amount from either of you right now. I activate my Wyvrin's special ability, and that lets me once a turn special summon from my graveyard a Dark Royal Dragon monster from my graveyard. And I decide for this case, and since it's my only monster in the graveyard since you stole my dragon prince, Dark Royal Dragon Erton!" she yelled out, and Erton comes back to the field.

"And you know what that means Sonia… and since Jackie is now listening to this, I am allow to bring a spell card from my deck and add it to my hand, and boy will this be a good one, but before I activate it, I am going to tribute my Erton, so I can play something even stronger." Korina said evilly, and then her monster fades and makes an even bigger and more eviler dragon. "I summon… Dark Royal Dragon Judger!" then a dark dragon with a judge with a sword appears.

"Order to the court… as they would say." Korina smiled evilly, and then Jackie catches something that surprised her, Korina summoned a Level 7 monster by only sending her Erton (level 4 monster) to the graveyard. This shocked Sonia too.
"Wait a minute… How did you managed to summon a Level 7 monster, you need 2 monsters to do it." Jackie stated, but Korina knew what to say at the right time. "Sorry to disappoint you two, but my field spell has some pretty nice perks when you have Dark Royal Dragon monsters, all monsters require one less tribute. So I can summon Level 5 and 6 monsters that have Dark Royal Dragon in its name, provided I have them. Think of it this way… I know this deck more than you think, but enough chatter, it's time for my Judger to do its thing, but before that my Wyvrin has another effect…. You two can summon any monster from your graveyard without condition, but there is a price that I will get into in a moment, so make your pick." Korina suggested to them.
Sonia and Jackie think about it for a moment, and still… with Korina's strong monsters on the field, the more monsters that they have in defense ready, the better the situation that they will be in when they need defense, that would defend their life points. "Very well then, I summon Royal Dragon Double Blader in Defense mode." Sonia said, and Double Blader comes back. "And I shall summon the Grandmaster of the Six Samurai, also in defense mode." Jackie added, and both of the girls summon their respective monsters in defense mode, the master, and the Double Blader.

"Okay… everything is now set. But now, let me inform you of my dragon's curse!" Korina stated, and both Sonia and Jackie yelled. "CURSE?!" "That's right, your monsters thanks' to my dragon is given a curse, and as of now, you cannot switch their position or activate their effects, but it will hardly matter as someone(s) is about to lose a monster, right now! I activate the magic card known as Dark Verdit!" she yelled out, and then the Judger starts to glow a dark light and then a wheel is then formed. "First of all… I have to tribute my Dark Royal Dragon Judger to activate this card, and then… we all get to pick one monster, and then the wheel spins, but the reason I will explain once a monster is picked, so go ahead… pick…" she smiled evilly, and then Sonia and Jackie pick their monster. "Koyuki is who I am picking." Sonia stated. "Grandmaster will take any fall for me!" Jackie added, and their monsters started to glow red.
"Alright… the monsters are picked, now it's time for the wheel to decide its course to go for." Korina smiled evilly, and then the wheel starts to spin the wheels of fate, and the monster symbols all appeared, Sonia's Koyuki, Jackie's Grandmaster, and obviously since Korina doesn't have much of a choice, her Dark Royal Dragon Wyvrin. The wheel begins to spin, and Sonia and Jackie are hoping that whatever the wheel spins, they hope what happens isn't bad. The wheel spins for a few minutes, and the tension starts growing.
Then… the wheel stopped, and it stopped on Dark Royal Dragon Wyvrin, and Sonia and Jackie seems to be glad for it, or so they be, as Korina is smiling. "Well guess what, luck isn't on your side… guess whatever happens to your Dragon is going to happen on you now. Sorry!" Sonia smiled.
"Actually… I be worried right now." Korina said, and this takes Sonia and Jackie off by surprise.
"What's that?" Jackie asked.
"The wheel actually decides which monster is safe, because the monsters that don't get selected by the wheel, are automatically destroyed and removed from the game, and not only that… but you also lose life points equal to the attack points of the destroyed monsters' to the respective players. Since you Sonia have Koyuki, her attack points go from your life points, and vice versa with Jackie and her Grandmaster of the Six Samurai… too bad!" Korina smiled, and then both monsters were blown up and Sonia and Jackie were flown and knocked off their feet.

"And don't forget about my field spell's effect you two, as the player who loses a monster, must also take 600 points of damage in addition." Korina added, and both Sonia and Jackie started to receive dark shocks to their body, weakening them further.

"Oh man... this is starting to get real bad." Sonia said, struggling to get up. "One more attack to either of us no matter what case, we're toast."
Jackie then gets back up and turns to Sonia with a serious and firm face. "Sonia... you must have faith, we have to keep fighting no matter what, if we don't, our friends and us will be gone. Yes... I know we haven't been on such good terms, but look, it doesn't matter now... we just have to fight back. Have faith Sonia, I know you can do that... just trust me!" Jackie said, trying to get Sonia to trust her. "I am just as scared as you at the moment, but what matters is that we keep fighting to the end... no matter what! Luke told me this and he wanted me to tell you this... a duel is not over till the last card is played."
Sonia then begins to think of this as she is hoping that she can pull off a difficult victory, as this is one hell of a duel she is going through, and right now she has to look at her life more closely, and she came to realize that Jackie would stick her neck out for her, and now it's time for her to do the same as if she did for her friends, and just like her father did back in prison. So she takes a stand and looks at Korina with a glare and angry look on her face.
"Alright Korina... you asked for it!" Sonia grunted.
"And you are correct there, since I have used Dark Verdict, looks like I won't be attacking this turn, as I had to skip my battle phase for doing it, so that will be my turn." Korina muttered to herself.
Korina's Hand: 0
"Very well then, I shall get back onto that. I draw!" Jackie said, drawing her next card. "With Sonia's dragon back on the field... I can try to give it a little bit of a boost." Jackie thought to herself as she draw a good card. "Hey Sonia... don't mind if I piggyback off your recent last move.?" Jackie asked, and Sonia shook her head up and down. "Alright... I activate a magic card known as Shizjuna's Ring, and I equip it to Sonia's Gandroff the Dragon Prince." Jackie said, and then the card then activates on Sonia's side, giving it a new ring. (Attack Points: 1900) "Why did my monster lose 600 points?" Sonia asked Jackie. "There's a reason, because the wearer of this ring loses 600 attack points, but as for Korina, and this is going to be bad for you as now Sonia's monster not only can now attack you directly, but it is also immune to any of your spells and traps that might attempt to effect her dragon. However... the only problem is, I have to tribute a Six Samurai monster during each of my turns to keep this card in play, otherwise it, and the monster wearing it will be destroyed, so I will send my Shield-bearer of the Six Samurai to the graveyard to keep the card right now." Jackie said, tributing her shield holding beast to keep her card in play.
"But that leaves you vulnerable?" Sonia said.. worried for her friend. "Don't worry, I got that cover." Jackie said, assuring Sonia. "Now I activate my next magic card, Crowning of he Six Samurai, by searching through my deck, and then sending those Tuner or Six Samurai monsters to the graveyard, next turn I can then summon a Six Samurai Synchro monster." Jackie explained to the crowd. "And with that, my turn's done." Jackie said.

"In that case, I will take over, and I hate to break it to you Korina." Sonia said, now determined to win this duel. "But thanks to Jackie's card, I am now switching my Dragon to attack mode, and you know what's going to happen now, a direct attack towards your life points with my Gandroff the Dragon Prince." Sonia said, and then her dragon brings his sword and empower it with energy, and fires it at Korina, and she took the hit, knocking her out.

"You think that's enough to beat me, think again!" Korina grunted as she got back up. "I bet so, but for now... my turn's done." Sonia said, ending her turn.

Korina then begins laughing evilly as she now prepares her next move as she pulls another monster. "You had a chance right there Sonia, and you didn't do anything, so let me show you how a real move is done!" Korina yelled angrily. "Dark Royal Dragon Wyvrin, destroy Sonia's famous dragon with your Dark Blast!" she ordered just as her monster prepares to fire an attack on Sonia's dragon, however, Jackie intervenes with a face down card activate.
"You aren't attacking Sonia anytime soon, because I activate my face-down trap card, Six Samurai Intervention!" Jackie yelled, activating her trap card, and then a spirit of Shieldbearer appeared before Sonia, and stopped the attack. "By removing a Six Samurai Monster from my graveyard from the game, I am allow to stop your attack and end the battle phase automatically, so that means Sonia... is safe!" Jackie said, and then the attack was averted.
"Drats! Fine... I end my turn!" Korina grunted, mad that her attack was completely stopped by Jackie's trap card.

"Alright, remember, we have got to get rid of Wyvrin soon, as long as she has that monster on the field, we cannot suffer another attack from it." Sonia told Jackie, who then turns and smiles. "Don't worry, I got a plan already." Jackie said to assure Sonia but added another thing.
"However... I am going to need your Gandroff monster to pull this off." Jackie said, asking Sonia to trust her, but Sonia replied. "Do you know what you are doing?" Sonia asked. "Relax... I got this all figured out, the thing you need to do is trust me, I have an idea that is going to get rid of Wvvrin for good, but I need you to trust me on this, can you do that?" Jackie asked. "Yes I know our methods are different, and I want to make it up to you, so let's take Korina down here and now." Jackie asked of her. "At the same time, her field spell will go as well."
"My move... I draw!" Jackie said, drawing her card, and she drew what she just needs from her eyes. "Too bad Korina, Sonia is about to get her life back, and I am about to help her with that. Since the turn was up and my Crowning of the Six Samurai is in play, I am now allow to summon a Six Samurai monster, and the monsters that are going to be tuned is my Level 2 Kagemusha, and Level 3 Kageki, in order to summon my Number 1 Fan of the Six Samurai." Jackie said, and then a cartoon samurai appears.

"All that just for a cartoon Samurai who doesn't give two flying freaks for, is this some kind of a joke." Korina mocked as she giggled, but Sonia looks serious. "I wouldn't be so sure, as looks can be deceiving."
"Sonia's got a good point, as the monsters I used to summon it return to my hand, and when that happens, when I remove this monster from play (treated with another name) I am now allowed to summon, the awe-inspiring, the almighty... EMPEROR OF THE SIX SAMURAI- SHI-EN!" Jackie yelled out as her monsters turn and then a black heavy samurai with the dark blade appears behind her.
Attr: Dark Type: Warrior Atk 3000 Def: 2000 Level: 5
"Great... that's just what we need." Sonia said, turning to see the awesome Shi-En emperor in action.
"Oh yeah, we sure need it, but what I am about to do will help us both out." Jackie said before she continues her turn. "Now I activate the magic card, Polymerization... and I will be fusing both Gandroff the Dragon Prince, and Emperor of the Six Samurai." Sonia shook her head yes to approve her use of her dragon, and then Gandroff the Dragon Prince goes into the air along with the Samurai and fuses to form a new unknown monster, and then a blight light engulfs the area. "AH! This cannot be... AH!" Korina screamed just as she prepares to see the monster formed.
"The light of the friendship of us and our friends, is going to conquer you Korina, once an for all!" Sonia and Jackie yelled together...
