Hei hei!

New update! ENJOY! I want to thank all of you for sticking to this story.

Disclaimer: I don't own NCIS or the characters.

Saturday night the couple was resting on the couch, watching one of Tony's endless movies. Ziva was lying with her head on Tony's lap, enjoying the waving of his fingers through her hair. It had been a long week at work, a grim case taking up most of the team's time. Thankfully the murderer had been apprehended, not getting out of prison any time soon. This weekend the couple was of work, if nothing urgent presented them.

"Sweetcheeks?" Tony spoke, tenderly stoking Ziva's cheek with the tips of his fingers, making her look at him.

"Hmmm." Ziva murmured.

"Can I ask you something?" The man asked in a soft voice.

"Of course." Ziva responded, moving around a little so she was resting on her back and could look at him better.

"You wish sometimes that you had a different life Zi?"

"Yes, I do sometimes." The younger woman voiced honestly. Ziva knew that although on days she wished for a different life, she also realized that she would properly never had met Tony in that life. She would have never met Gibbs, Abby, McGee, Ducky and everyone of their little family. But even so, the thought of a different life had crossed her mind of lot of times.

"Myea me too. I've been thinking these past few weeks about the future." Tony expressed, knowing he could tell Ziva the truth.

"Should I be worried?" Ziva asked, getting up from her position and sitting next to Tony, facing him.

"No Zi, absolutely not." Tony responded quickly, placing a tender kiss on Ziva's forehead. "I've been thinking… I want to move, or I wish to move. I mean, I know this place is big enough for the both of us, but I maybe want a bigger place? But only if you want to, I don't want to pressure you. We can stay here, I love living here with you." Tony rambled, not knowing how Ziva would react. The couple had talked about wanting kids in the future, but not about finding another place or moving at all.

"Breath Tony." Ziva smiled, placing a light kiss on his cheek while moving a little closer toward him. The younger woman placed both legs in his lap, her head resting against in shoulder. "I like your idea, you silly man. I like this place, but we can look for a bigger place? A house instead of an apartment?" She continued, secretly loving the idea of getting a new place. It's true, she loves Tony's apartment, and she feels home in this, their place. But she would love to look at a house that would be completely theirs, a new step they could take together.
Although they had only had been in a relationship for a little over ten months now, Ziva had slowly started to believe in a future together. Looking back to where they started all those months ago and where they were now, it was unbelievable sometimes. Ziva never thought she could feel like this, happy and loved. For so long she had thought her life was about surviving, getting through mission after mission, each time losing a little piece of herself along the way. NCIS, the team, had giving her a change to be more than just a soldier, and it helped. But she was still not happy back then, just going with life as it went. Her father's dead had triggered a series of events and left her behind with a lot of pain. The young woman knew she had hurt people along the way as well, including Tony. And even when they had talked things through and it let them to finally open up toward one another and the start of their relationship, there was still a lot of history between them. Her sessions with her psychologist were finally starting to pay off. At a slow pace Ziva started to work through her past. Every little step in her life she had taken and had made her lose the real her, until sometimes she did not know who she was anymore. Talking about it and working through these events had helped her realize what she wanted in life, what made her heart beats a little faster. Two of those things were Tony and the realization that she wants kids with him somewhere in the future. The woman could remember that as a young child, before her mother died and everything went south, that she would dream about having children one day. About how she would fall in love with a man and have kids, just like her parents did. For a really long time she had suppressed these feelings, her life as a soldier and an agent taking over. But since a short time Ziva was not afraid anymore to dream about her perfect future, one filled with happiness and love. A future with Tony by her side and maybe some children of their own. A first step toward that future was maybe buying a house together and making it their home. It was an idea that made her feel happy, like she truly belonged somewhere, with someone.

"You're sure? I'm not pushing this onto you?" Tony questioned, looking into Ziva's honest eyes.

"No, you are not Tony. I want this too! It would be like our place, a next step. I like that!" Ziva put into words, closing the distance between them and kissing him on the lips. Tony let himself enjoy the kiss, having missed that kind of intimacy all day.

"I love you Zi." The man breathed against Ziva's lips, pulling her body into his lap. "Thank you for sticking with me."

"Always. Loving you is easy Tony. We can make this work, right?" Ziva asked, an uncertainly audible in her voice that Tony hadn't heard in a while.

"Yeah of course we can Zi. Just look at us? I know the past made us who we are, and yes that causes us to make faults now and then or not be completely open and honest toward each other. But we're working on that, no? I've never felt like this before, you are my future honey. I know that, no doubt there." Tony expressed tentatively, meanwhile stroking her cheek lightly.

"When did you became so good at expressing your feelings?" Ziva smirked, before getting serious. "I do feel the same honey, I want you to know that. Thank you for loving me."

"Always." Tony smiled, notching his nose playfully against hers. "Would you like to stay in this neighborhood?" The man asked after some silence. Ziva was resting with her upper body against Tony's chest, her head nestled against his neck breathing him in and both legs around his waist. The woman was feeling completely at ease, feeling safe in her lover's arms.

"I would like that, if we find something we like. It's close to work and…" Ziva said, feeling a bit embarrassed by her thoughts.

Tony picked up on Ziva's hesitance, knowing she was holding something back. "And what Zi?" He asked gently.

"Nothing, it is silly."

"Tell me Zi, I don't think it's silly." Tony responded, kissing the side of Ziva's head.

"It close to Gibbs, okay?" Ziva whispered so quietly, Tony would have missed the words if he hadn't been paying close attention. "He is the closest thing to a father and it is not like I need to be there all the time, but it is nice to know that he is close. I know that it is stupid."

"It's not Zi. You love him, I get that. I love him too. We can look around this area for something we like." Tony expressed gently, just knowing how much Gibbs meant to her, truthfully to the both of them. The man acted more as a father-figure that either of their fathers ever did.

"You know money is not a problem. I have never told you that explicitly, but I did inherit all my father's money. It is a lot… I have donated some, because I wanted to but even then, it is a lot." Ziva declared, looking up from her position against Tony's neck, needing to see how he would react.

"I thought so, but we're doing this together right? I mean I want to put my money into our house as well. My mom left me some money, I've saved it for this. I want us to find a place we both love, that we both invest in, something that's ours." Tony spoke tentatively. He realized Ziva most likely gained all of her father's and families possessions and it wasn't really about the money at all. Tony couldn't care less about that, he just wanted a place of them both. Something they both put their names on, that they could call a home.

"I get that Tony." Ziva said, a big smile plastered on her face. The woman was getting all excited about the prospect of buying a house together. "What do you like? I mean, this place is modern, no? You want that? And how big, how many rooms?" Shooting one question after the other.

"I'm so in love with you." Tony responded, laughing out loud, peppering Ziva's neck with little kisses. "To answer your questions, you crazy woman, I like modern but I like other styles as well. I'm not very familiar with all that. The number of rooms depend on how many kids we want, no?" Tony voiced, saying the words with a bit of caution. They had talked about wanting children, at one point in the near future. But how many, or when was something they hadn't chatted about.

"Maybe?" Ziva voiced, a shy smile playing on her lips. "I always wanted a boy and a girl. How many of each gender I do not know."

"So at least two? I can live with that. I hope our little girl looks just like you, that would be adorable." Tony expressed, not shying away from his feelings. Despite being together for almost a year now and Ziva getting to know so much about the 'real' Tony, it was still a rare occasion for him to be so blunt about his thoughts and feelings. To express them so freely.

A timid smile appeared on Ziva's face, feeling her cheeks going red, all the while feeling at loss for a proper answer. The young woman hid her head against Tony's neck, hugging him tightly. "Or a small boy that looks just like you." Ziva whispered, loving that idea.

"So, we're really doing this?" Tony more stated, than questioned, after some comfortable silence.

"We are." Ziva replied, kissing the corner of Tony's lips. "But I do think we need some more practice." The woman said in a charming voice.

"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" Tony whispered in a hoarse voice, seeing the spark in Ziva's eyes.

"Hmmm yes, I want to make love to you Tony." Ziva murmured against Tony's lips, before gently biting him lower lip, kissing him deeply afterward. Tony was more than happy to follow her lead, slowly tracing Ziva's lips with his tongue before entering her mouth with his tongue. It became a tender game, each of the parties giving-and-taking. Slowly the couple moved their activities toward the bedroom, enjoying their still fairly newfound intimacy.
