Prompt: Imagine your OTP being in class with Person A trying to pay attention to the teacher but can't because Person B is distracting them by sending mushy love texts and/or notes. Both end up getting caught and pound erasers after class as punishment.
"Recall that the order of a differential equation is the highest derivative that appears…" Sybil had been listening carefully as she scribbled down notes when she felt her phone vibrate.
She touched the right pocket of her jeans where she kept her phone but ignored it. She could look at it later.
Sybil had tuned back into the class when her phone vibrated again. She frowned, who could be texting her?
After the fifth text, she couldn't resist taking a peek. Slowly reaching into her pocket, she looked down at her phone. It was from Tom.
She couldn't help the smile as she rolled her eyes. Only he would obnoxiously text her during class. Sighing, she read the text.
I love how when you're concentrating on something you bite your lips.
Have I told you how beautiful you look?
Granted you're always beautiful, but you are especially pretty when you're concentrating on something.
I wish class was over already so I could kiss you.
It's been far too long since I've last kissed you.
Sybil felt her cheeks go warm and glanced back at Tom. He was sitting in the back of the room smiling at her.
Grinning she started to text back.
You kissed me before class.
She was about to click send when their math teacher Mr. Carson coughed.
Sybil snapped her head up, but it was too late. Mr. Carson was right in front of her. "Something interesting Miss Crawley?"
Sybil opened her mouth only to close it quickly and blush. Sighing, she put her phone in Mr. Carson's outstretched hand.
He glanced at the phone before slipping it into his pocket. As he turned back to the board he stated, "Miss Crawley and Mr. Branson stay after class and please remember that my class is for math, not for flirting."
Sybil's face turned bright red as the class snickered. Glancing back, she was pleased to see that Tom was blushing too.
She coughed as she accidentally inhaled some of the chalk.
Tom chuckled. "You okay?"
Sybil coughed one more time before nodding.
"Don't ingest too much," he joked.
"Ha ha you're hilarious Tom," Sybil deadpanned.
He grinned in reply.
Finished with her current eraser she groaned as she looked at the pile they still had to do. She glared at her boyfriend and said, "This is all your fault."
"Yea," Tom grinned, leaning over he pecked her on the lips. "But it was worth it."
