"Hey Joe!," Haylie yelled as she drove up to a small local airport.
Her friend turned immediately to greet her with a smile, "What can I do for you, girl?"
She smiled in return, "I need a big favor. There's something terrible happening at the Factory and I need you to fly me there," she said, quickly changing her tone back to business. She didn't have to explain where or what the Factory was because he was ex CIA and the guy who trained her.
"You're going there alone? I'm not sure I'm comfortable with that," he said, his face giving away his fatherly concern for her.
"C'mon, Joe," she pleaded, "You know I'm the best. And if you're with me, I won't be alone. Please take me there. I need to help people on my team. They were greeted by gunshots and its been taken over," she explained, her tone rushed to convey the urgency.
Joe shook his head before a small grin crept across his lips, "Ok, hop in the chopper. I'll get you there as fast as I can, but you're not going in alone," he agreed pulling out his gun.
Haylie smiled gratefully as she hopped in and took the long ride waiting until they were closer to try to get an update from Cooper.
Haylie and Joe caught up, except on the fact that she was pregnant, until they were within thirty minutes of the Factory.
"Cooper," she said over her safe phone.
"Agent Storm, you will be severely punished for this when you return. You need to turn around if you're on the way there because there are two planes en route to bomb the prison," he said, she could hear the aggravation in her tone.
Haylie shook her head to Joe, letting him know not to turn around, "Cooper, I'll go in for survivors after. Don't worry about me. I've got a good guy with me. I'm not alone," she said before turning it off as she saw two fighter pilots closing in.
The small planes launched two missiles a piece and hit the prison with direct accuracy, causing Haylie's stomach to sink.
"Give the smoke a minute to clear and we'll land," Joe told her.
Haylie could only nod in response as she fought tears that threatened to escape but she had to stay tough.
As they hovered to wait, Joe noticed another chopper taking off from the island and quickly landed theirs so they could remain unseen.
The Factory was eerily quiet as Haylie and Joe got out and began the search for any survivors and they were greeted by gunfire coming from inside.
"I'll go in ahead of you," Joe said as he rushed forward, Haylie following close behind. They didn't see any action as they entered a room where Ressler was hauling a severely injured Navabi.
"There's a chopper right out those doors," Joe told them, "Go get in."
Haylie grabbed Ressler's arm as he was passing her, "Any sign of Red?" she asked, her voice weak.
Ressler shook his head only deepening the pit in her stomach. Joe guided her through to what appeared to be a control room, "Have you been here before?" she whispered.
Joe nodded, "A few times on missions."
Haylie didn't get to ask the rest of the questions that came flooding to her mind as she saw Red laying unconscious on the floor among all the rubble.
