Dean went down to the dungeon and pulled up a chair outside of Abbadon's cell, she opened one eye and focused on the new king, "Come to get some pointers you little shit?"

"No, I just wanted to see what a murderer looks like in a cage."

She sat up, smoothed the front of her dress then folded her hands in her lap and smiled at Dean, "I know why you're here…you want to know about daddy." Dean couldn't help but notice it was the same movements Sam made. He was copying his mother and not even aware of it.

Dean shrugged, "Maybe, you won't tell me the truth anyway."

"Of course I will, think of it as a parting gift. The truth is worse than anything I could make up anyway. Here goes, daddy fucked your mommy a servant girl named Mary and got her pregnant. We already had an arranged marriage and there was no way John was going to go back out on that. Swap a princess for a dull little drudge? Not likely."

"I know all that, I know mom died in childbirth and my father blamed me for it. Balthazar gave me to Robert and Ellen. I need to know why…why didn't he look for me later. Why a deathbed confession to Sam but yet he let all those years go by and never once bothered to find me, I even met him at Sam's birthday as a little boy. John couldn't feel anything then?"

Abbadon was enjoying the pain on Dean's face, all she had left was the ability to hurt his feelings. "After Sam was born he mentioned you to me, he assured me you would be no problem. I guess he was wrong, I should have just killed you a long time ago. Do you ever think he didn't bother to look because he just didn't give a damn about you?"

"Shut up!"

"Dean you were never wanted, he hated the thought of a bastard out there. In true Winchester fashion he didn't have the balls to just kill you…a family of weak men. Sam has more of a spine than you do." Abbadon leaned forward and grinned, "Maybe you should kill yourself, let Sam stay married to someone strong like Castiel. You will never measure up to the men of Ecanus, I know about Ion and the king…wolves."

Dean's eyes filled with tears, he felt like a fool coming here and letting her see him like this, "You're a liar; John must have said something about me through the years, he must have loved me a little bit."

Abbadon got up and pressed herself against the bars, "No, he just didn't care…not one single bit sorry darling a tough pill to swallow right? The look on your face right now is priceless, I swear I'm getting excited just watching your soul break."

Dean wiped his eyes and got up, "I can't wait to see you die, I hate you so much. Maybe God will forgive you but I never will."

"Dean I hope that monster in Sam's belly dies and you're never able to make him pregnant again."

"That's your grandchild!"

"It's nothing to me but another disappointment from my soft male son."

She blew him a kiss and sat back down effectively dismissing him like Dean was nothing.

"I'm glad you married my father otherwise I'd never have Sam. He was the only beautiful and truly pure accomplishment of your wasted life; I hope you rot in hell."

He turned heel and left before she could answer.

….

Dean started packing and Sam stopped him, "What are you doing?"

"The sentencing is tomorrow and I don't want you here, I'm sending you to Encanus with Jo and some men to watch over you."

"No I want to be here Dean, let me do that. I want to stand by you; we need to show we are a couple."

Dean sat down and covered his face, "Dean, are you crying?"

Abbadon's words were eating at him, he knew some of it was the truth, "No, Sam I want to be alone for a bit."

Sam nervously smoothed the front of his dress and clasped his hands in front of him, "As you wish."

Ion stood outside the cell of Crowley, the necromancer was still shackled at the ankles, wrists and neck. He looked up at the knight and flashed him a smile, "Crippled knight how nice to see you."

"Why did you surrender so easily…what have you done?"

"Think you can take the cuffs off so I can urinate? It's hard to aim like this."

"Tell me!"

Crowley saw the crack in the knight's composure, "Just think Ion, if Lucifer hadn't taken pity on you years ago and given you the job of tending to your little wolf whore I imagine you would have ended up on a mattress somewhere trying to earn a living."

Ion clenched his fists and willed himself to stay human, "I said tell me, can't you do one good act before you die?"

Crowley ignored him, "And with that infirmity of yours on your back is the most comfortable position; I suppose that boy you ruined gets on top all the time. I wonder what that baby will be like walking on all fours and sniffing asses like its parents."

Ion turned to leave then Crowley said, "Tell me, did you find Alfie?"

"What…the boy in the tower, yes we found him, why?"

Crowley receded into the corner of the cell and vanished into the dark, "No reason."

Sam watched Dean, Ion and Castiel preparing for the sentencing. They ignored Sam like he had no say in the proceeds. He slipped away to see his mother, he knew he shouldn't, that the woman wouldn't give him what he wanted but Sam had to try one last time.

…..

Dean looked around, "Where is Sam?" No one had seen him leave and Dean went looking for him, he found his brother walking across the courtyard and knew exactly where he was going. "Sam, stop!"

"No, I don't care I want to see her, you don't understand Dean I have to know if she loves me even a little. Dean let me have this, if she dies and I never know I won't be able to stand it."

Dean thought about his own pain never knowing if John ever felt love for him, "I'm sorry Sam of course you can but I want to be with you. I can't allow you to be alone with her even with bars between you."

Sam wiped his eyes and straightened his shoulders bringing himself to his full height, "You may wait outside the door but I want to go in alone."

Dean looked up and him and knew there was no arguing with Sam, "Fine but if I hear any trouble I'm coming in."

Abbadon watched from the shadows as her very pregnant son sat on a chair in front of the bars, "What do you want Sam? If you're not here to let me go you should leave."

Sam wrapped his arms protectively around his belly as if she could hurt the baby from inside the cell, "Tell me you love me and ask for forgiveness. Now is your last chance mother, I'm leaving after the sentencing."

"Oh really Sam you're so sad begging like this. I told you I care about you in my own way and I don't regret anything I did because I did it for you."

Sam leaned forward and looked at her with desperation, "Please can't you just say you love me and mean it?"

Abbadon studied her chipped nail polish, "I must have left some if it in Dean's cheek when I scratched him. Sam it's not too late to stop this, I don't have to die. Darling if I tell you I love you and ask for forgiveness do you think maybe I could just be imprisoned somewhere?"

Sam stood to leave, "You can't just say it…it's not in you to be kind or loving. Even now you will only say it if I give you something in return, this it mother I'm going and I won't ever speak to you again."

Abbadon reached through the bars and grabbed his wrist, "Your killing me then!" She dung her nails in refusing to let go, Sam jerked away leaving skin behind, "No mother your killing yourself."

He left her to her fate knowing that he was never going to force words that didn't come naturally. All Sam wanted was the truth and he had it, she couldn't feel love not even for him.

….

Sam sat in the back of the room with Jo and Trevor, when the necromancer and Abbadon came out there was a general buzz about the room.

Crowley looked out the window and found it amusing they were already building the stage for the execution, "Look Abby, you get to be the center of attention again you lucky bitch."

Abbadon was actually crying now, the reality of it slapped her in the face, "You knew this was coming and you never told me, how could you do this …I thought you loved me!"

"I love you as much as you love me Abby."

Ion stood up and the crowd settled, he rolled out a document with a list of formal charges and read them aloud. Four murders, kidnapping, arson, using magic against the King of Ecanus, larceny, false imprisonment and anything else Ion could think of was listed.

Ion sat back down next to Dean who leaned over and whispered, "You forgot to mention her being a cold hearted whore."

Ion smiled slightly, "That isn't a crime Dean, if it was half the people I know would be guilty."

Dean folded his arms and stared daggers at them both. In the end the pair were found guilty and sentenced to both be beheaded at noon the next day.

Immediately afterward Dean went to Sam and spirited him away to the cottage.

…..

The caretaker greeted the couple, "Sire I kept the place up for you and tended to the animals." Dean looked around and was pleased, "Thank you, after I'm crowned I want to take this land and have it farmed properly and the buildings fixed. Would you accept the job of running it? You can hire who you need."

"Oh yes Sire I would love that thank you!" He bowed and left the couple alone.

Sam sat on the bed watching Dean make a fire, once it was going Dean poured himself a glass of wine and allowed Sam small sips to calm his nerves.

Dean bent down and sucked a plump nipple into his mouth, although Sam didn't have any breasts his nipples were fuller and stiffened easily. He sighed and closed his eyes as Dean took his time on each one, when he was done he pulled off the engorged nub, "There…how was that?"

"It feels good; you should do that more often. Do you want to have relations Dean?"

"I didn't think you would want to after everything so I was going to be a gentleman about it but you don't have to ask me twice Sam."

They kissed in the same bed they first made love and everything bad melted away, it was just Sam and Dean discovering each other all over again. Dean spent a long time on Sam, sucking his cock almost lazily and fingering his ass with oiled fingers working the spot Ion taught him to never neglect on his lover.

Sam hardly moved as he filled his brother's throat crying out softly for him, their fingers twined together tightly.

When Dean was sure Sam was sated he rolled him on his side and entered, Deans arms holding the belly resting on the bed. He was gentle and quiet finishing with a groan muffled by the crook of his loves tender neck.

They both slept better than they had in ages, just the sound of crickets and peepers in the warm night air.

…..

Sam woke to the smell of food cooking, Dean had made them breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs with butter, slices of bread and cheese. He put out some cherries from the tree outside and fried potatoes from the garden.

Sam sat there watching Dean and noticed he was singing to himself, he looked relaxed and happy.

Dean set a mug on the table filled with daisies, "There, a breakfast fit for a queen!"

Sam was starving, at the castle he couldn't eat but here his appetite returned and the young man ate until he felt stuffed. Dean ate twice that amount and sat back afterwards feeling satisfied, "Oh I missed that, my own cooking…doing things like this for you and not answering to anyone but my lover."

Sam grabbed his hand and kissed it, "We can do this at the castle, chase out the cooks and make me breakfast once in awhile. Also I would love to come with you to the cottage Dean and make love in our own bed here. We can escape and let our child learn all the skills you did from Robert."

They held hands across the table just happy in each others company.

…..

Crowley went first, Castiel stood and asked if there was anything he wished to say, the necromancer grinned and winked at the king, "I'll hold a spot in Hell for you." The executioner rested his head to the side on the block he waited for the signal and Castiel nodded.

The axe fell hard and swift taking his head as everyone cheered, the only ones not cheering were Castiel and Ion. They both sat there grimly clutching hands and waiting for something terrible to happen, when it didn't both men relaxed.

Abbadon shrieked and struggled all the way there, when Castiel asked if she had any last words she let loose with string of insults that even made Ion blush. They had to strap her to the block just so the executioner could swing.

It took two blows for Abbadon because her struggling caused the first one to sink into her shoulders rendering her paralyzed, the second hit the mark and her pretty red head tumbled into the basket and then it was over.

…..

Sam was bathing in the pond with Dean when he felt a coldness surround him, he shuddered, "Its mother…she's dead." Thankfully the feeling passed but Sam left the pond feeling weak and went to dry off on their blanket.

He cried, actually he sobbed over the loss of a woman that could never say the words "I love you" to her only child. There wasn't much Dean could say so he rocked him until his brother was exhausted and couldn't shed another tear.

Ion supervised the burning of the bodies after following Dean's instructions to salt the corpses before setting them on fire. Afterward the ashes were gathered and taken far away then the entire area was cleaned as if nothing had ever happened. It was as if Crowley and Queen Abbadon never existed at all.

Castiel had all her belongings stored in a room and locked up then left a key for Sam.
