"It's been a while, son." Darrel greeted. Ponyboy was speechless. This couldn't be real, could it? No…He's dead.

"This can't be real…" Ponyboy whispered to himself. Darrel only smiled kindly at his son.

"This place is where wishes come true. Deep in your mind, you wished to see me again."

"But, what about mom?"

"She's alive but not here right now. You also wished her to be here but not near the mansion. That reminds me, we can't keep them waiting."

"Them?"

"You will know if you come with me. Let's go."

Ponyboy nodded and followed his dad.

"Then we'll take a quick look inside and…" Johnny started. That was when Ponyboy and his dad joined them.

'Johnny?! And even Soda?' Ponyboy yelled mentally.

"Hey, Pony. I'd been wonderin' if something had happened, since you just went off into the forests all of a sudden." Soda said, smiling happily.

'What?'

"Was something bothering you?" Johnny asked.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. Ponyboy just thought that he had seen something." Darrel said.

"Anyway, I thought that it was just a rumor. I never thought that we would actually find it."

"I don't think that it's very interesting. Let's go take a quick look and go back."

Soda and Johnny nodded and went in.

"Wait!" Ponyboy called out.

"There is no need to hurry." Darrel informed.

"What? B-But…"

"This is as if you were in a dream. Except for one thing, everything will go as you like. That's why you don't have to worry about them."

"But I have to worry. I'm going after them."

"Even if it's a dream?"

"Because it's a dream."

"How did I know you were going to answer like that?" Darrel smiled gently.

"Let's go in, and then you can tell me the rules of this world."

"How many of these are there?" Bob asked, annoyed. He has gone through wave, after wave, after wave of those aliens. He had just finished them all. "Shit. Why did the magic portal thing close up?"

Cherry was not responding. Her eyes were wide and her fists clenched.

The door open and there was Two-Bit looking at them with confused eyes.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I can't tell you. Can we use some of your strange powers?"

"What are you talking about?"

"We came from the future."

Everyone stood by the limp body of Ponyboy, who lay in a bed in the safe room.

"So…Two-Bit is blind, and the kid's heart stopped beating." Tim stated the obvious.

"You got to be pulling my leg." Two-Bit said to Bob. "Ponyboy has rewound time? You come from the future? And you want me to send you back?"

"I'm telling the truth! I need to get back now."

"This timeline might seem just the past to you. But to me it's everything." Two-Bit snapped. He then charged out of the room.

Everyone split up again. Angela and Tim went to the annex and Johnny, Soda, and Darry stayed with Pony's body.

"How face got dirty. I have a napkin." Johnny said, after a large silence. He pulled out a wrinkled napkin and started to wipe the dirt off of Ponyboy's face. Right when the napkin touched, Johnny's eyes grew wide.

"Ponyboy?" He asked. The others looked confused at his question. "Pony?!"
